ATVs Sf moto (tsf moto) test drive tsf moto CF-625-X6 EFI

A little about the design: the ATV is a powerful unit with an engine capacity of 594 cc. cm and power 38 horsepower. The device received an injector instead of a carburetor. Finally installed hand protection. The TsF moto ATV has large wheels of size 26, a metal towbar, suspension arms are made of aluminum, and hydraulic shock absorbers are installed. The ATV looks quite impressive, but how will it perform during testing? To do this, we went into the forest on it. We were lucky and the road was just washed out after the rain. Forest paths are generally not comfortable, and here we have added bare roots sticking out everywhere, slippery mud in which you can get stuck, like in a jar of glue. Sometimes you come across holes flooded with water or areas of sand.

The two-seater ATV, loaded by only one person, completed the first task quite easily. He didn’t get stuck anywhere, completing the entire difficult route quite well. On sharp turns, the TsF Moto ATV skids, but it does not skid and perfectly follows the given trajectory. He behaves confidently on this road. After swimming through the mud, we managed to get onto the dirt road. Here the TsF Moto showed itself in all its glory, the ease of control is especially noticeable after driving onto a more or less normal road. When gas is applied, the engine reacts instantly, increasing speed and, accordingly, speed.

The ATV moves smoothly, softly, despite difficult road conditions. Contact with the road is good, whether on dirt or on dirt. What followed was a steep climb. I wanted to check how the ATV would go uphill, and even off-road.

And then a powerful engine came to the rescue. The apparatus goes up, one might say, without effort. There is enough power, and therefore you don’t feel the difference at all between a fairly steep climb and a flat road. Thanks to the long wheel frame, the TsF Moto ATV does not try to tip over backwards. The suspension is soft, and despite the fact that the road is strewn with boulders, it is a pleasure to move along it.

Review of SF Moto ATVs in the Atvarmor salon

Under load, the engine responds well to gas supply. Excellent torque is noted. You can feel the dynamics of acceleration, despite the fact that the TsF Moto ATV is going uphill. It goes quite easily, you feel that there is still a reserve of power and this is not all that it can do. The Bosch electronic module makes the task easier and calculates the injection parameter itself. Due to this, the engine receives the required portion of fuel and runs smoothly. After the ascent, we had to go down a steep descent, which was covered with many canals and streams. There was no need to slow down. The ATV walked completely confidently, it did not skid, and it clearly responded to steering commands.

As further tests showed, the TsF Moto ATV has excellent weight distribution, since passing through dense bushes did not cause any difficulties. If one or two wheels leave the ground, simply shifting your own weight will help the ATV regain its balance. After checking how the ATV behaves on sections of the road littered with mud and bushes, it was decided to go to the river. It is worth noting that the ATV allows you to choose between rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. The ascent and descent from the mountain, as well as overcoming the bushes, were carried out with rear-wheel drive. Most likely, it would be even easier to do at full. There was mud here too, but it seemed to be little, and it was decided to drive the TsF Moto ATV into the water up to the headlights. While the car feels the bottom, it moves quite confidently, the ATV, flooded to the hood with water, does not even think of stalling, stubbornly making its way to its goal, but having got out of the river, the vehicle still got stuck in liquid mud, from which, however, it managed to get out on its own.

I had to engage a lower gear and lock the differential. It took about 20 minutes, but the ATV finally got out without outside help. The testing of the ATV did not end there. Another passenger was added, and in total, not counting luggage, the car was loaded with 170 kg. Rear wheel drive turned on. The first road along which it was decided to send the loaded ATV was a field dug up by tractors.

Test drive tsf moto

After the rains, the field was greatly washed away, the potholes became wide and unsteady. However, the ATV overcame all obstacles without problems. It shakes a little, but the shock absorbers cope well with the load placed on them, and passengers do not feel discomfort or shock from stones and large pieces of hard dirt falling under the wheels. Handling remained excellent, even when the wheels were under heavy load on the sides. It is worth noting that if you are going to ride this tsf moto over potholes and boulders, as well as on forest paths in general, then the suspension needs to be set to a hard position, otherwise with soft settings the ATV starts to cling to the plastic with its wheels on bumps.

This problem resolves itself once the suspension settings are set to hard mode. The ride becomes not as comfortable as with a soft suspension, but still there is no severe discomfort. The suspension works well and does not give strong shocks to the driver and passenger. It is also worth noting the fact that after the ATV was almost completely in the water, it was turned off and started again several times, the engine started without problems. No extraneous sounds were noted. The drive belt does not slip. In general, we can say that the TsF Moto ATV passed field tests more than successfully. Initially, the prejudiced attitude towards Chinese technology was destroyed to the ground. The ATV has proven itself to be a reliable off-road vehicle capable of overcoming the most difficult routes and terrains.

It is worth saying with confidence that this ATV will be a good competitor to its European and Japanese counterparts, since, in addition to high cross-country ability and great reliability of components and assemblies, this type of equipment also has a low price relative to its competitors. The price of this Chinese SUV TF Moto is about 270 thousand rubles.

Review of the CFMOTO CF625-X6 EFI ATV

Most manufacturers of four-wheeled vehicles are progressing in the development of their equipment, thereby increasing engine displacement, wheel sizes and other technical characteristics, without bothering to introduce modern technologies. CFMOTO demonstrated a completely different approach.

When the market demanded restyling of the best utilitarian ATV, a car with a fuel injection system and rather a European rather than Chinese appearance was born. Of course, the change from carburetor models to models with injection no longer surprises anyone when it comes to ATVs from North American or Japanese manufacturers - there this process, which began a couple of years ago, is almost complete. The same cannot be said about the equipment from China presented in Russia; for now this is the exception rather than the rule.

CFMOTO specialists did not dare to reinvent the wheel and develop something new, namely their own power system. Therefore, the new single-cylinder engine has a fuel injection system from Bosch, which indicates the reliability of this model. By the way, going a little aside, I would like to say that the abbreviation X6 - “626”, has nothing to do with the engine displacement, since the actual volume of this model is 594 cm³. Having equipped the engine with a fuel injection system for two birds with one stone: in addition to improving environmental friendliness, the ATV has become much more economical, according to the manufacturers. They promise up to 25% fuel savings compared to the carburetor version, which means an increase in the range until the next refueling. Both power and torque have also increased.

CFMOTO specialists also worked on the suspension: to reduce unsprung masses, the upper arms were made of aluminum. The ATV was equipped with Ancla M/T mud tires measuring 26/9-12 in the front and 26/11-12 in the rear. The new shock absorbers have adjustable spring preload and are designed to handle the increased weights of large wheels.

All other changes are typical for Chinese ATV manufacturers. The CF626-X6 ATV received an electric winch with a traction force of 2500 pounds (more than 1100 kg), cast wheels, a tow hitch and a trailer socket (the latter is rather a consequence of the fact that these machines are also supplied to the USA, where they are used for their intended purpose - in as a utilitarian all-terrain vehicle). The steering wheel now has lever protection with metal brackets, which also covers the hands, and the passenger can relax by leaning back in the passenger seat.

Testing of the new ATV took place in the Moscow region on the X-Arena track. The predominant sand on the track, on the one hand, forces you to work actively while driving, on the other hand, it allows both the equipment and the driver to remain relatively clean.

With each lap, the pace gradually approached the limit for a utilitarian ATV - what is needed to understand the car as a whole, to evaluate the performance of the engine, suspension, steering, and brakes. Yes, miracles do not happen: on the move, the X6 is perceived as an average utilitarian quadric. Although, in this case, “average” does not carry a negative connotation, rather, on the contrary: everything works as it should. The engine's potential is almost always enough, despite the fact that it has to spin impressively sized wheels. The X6 quickly picks up speed, aggressively climbs the slope and confidently crawls along the deep mud rut. It is important that when driving in rear-wheel drive, the high-torque engine allows you to actively “steer with gas”.

Controlling an ATV on the ground is quite consistent with the canons of the class of budget utilitarian machines. Unfortunately, there is no electric power steering on the X6 yet, so at low speeds, on bumps and in ruts, the force on the steering wheel is too high. Also, the long wheelbase of the ATV makes the X6 somewhat reflective in its response to turning the steering wheel: after all, the distance between the axles is one and a half meters, which affects the handling of the ATV. But if you look at it from the other side, a long-wheelbase ATV allows you to safely and comfortably transport a passenger, is highly stable when moving in a straight line and has predictable behavior in the event of a skid, and is less prone to capsize when overcoming steep ascents and descents. And these properties are, perhaps, more important for a utilitarian machine than “sharp control.”

The most noticeable difference between the X6 and most of its peers is its expressive design and high quality parts. 26-inch tires, shod on stylish “castings” with a diameter of 12″, also add solidity.

The dashboard is informative, but its design leaves a feeling of toyiness and “plasticity”.

The upper control arms are made from aluminum to reduce unsprung weight. Shock absorbers with adjustable spring preload are designed to work with the increased weights of 26-inch wheels.

All-wheel drive is activated by pressing a button. Turning off is the same, so be careful off-road: it may be too late to realize that the front axle was accidentally turned off.

The protection of the levers is quite a hindrance during strong swings in turns, leaving marks on the wrists after 15 minutes of active riding. But there is also a plus: it protects your hands well from the cold and from stones and branches.

The protrusions that act as passenger footrests are, firstly, quite short and allow only a size 34 shoe to be comfortably placed there, and secondly, they noticeably limit the driver’s freedom of choice of foot position.

Weapon of last chance: the winch included in the basic X6 package will help you get out if the rest of the off-road potential (or, what happens more often, the driver’s skills) is not enough.

There is no need to be tricky with connecting a navigator to the X6: the 12 V electrical output of the “cigarette lighter” form factor is located “at hand”.

Water obstacles 60-70 cm deep are not an obstacle for the X6. For deeper dives, you should consider installing a snorkel.

The traction reserve is sufficient for dynamic exit from turns. Under one condition - if you don’t let off the gas while turning.

RESULT. CFMOTO CF625-X6 EFI is a worthy representative of the class of utilitarian ATVs, capable of serving as both an all-terrain vehicle and a “source of adrenaline.” And taking into account the rich basic equipment of the car, a developed dealer network and a price that is half that of a car from famous manufacturers, you can turn a blind eye to some insignificant shortcomings.
