We search the market in search of a motorcycle. Part 1. New “Chinese”

Tips for choosing

You can choose a really high-quality model, taking into account our tips and recommendations. It is useful to know the classification of motorcycles and their characteristics, then it is important to be able to choose a vehicle to suit your needs.

Classification:

  1. Hard – this class is suitable for more professional drivers. Motorcycles of this type have lower weight and good strong parts.
  2. Soft – great for traveling over rough terrain and the city.
  3. Tourist - this type has rather poor cross-country ability, but the positive aspects include a comfortable fit and the provided protective arches.

Engine capacity:

  1. Up to 250 cc see - the presented type of motors performs well in urban conditions, thanks to its maneuverability. Air cooled.
  2. From 250 to 300 cc. see - will be a good option for beginners to understand all the tricks of driving a motorcycle not on asphalt.
  3. From 400 to 800 cc. see - this type of engine is perfect for traveling over rough terrain, as well as for city driving. Perhaps the only negative side is the huge mass, which is approximately 140 kilograms.

Racer motorcycle reviews

Racer motorcycles are reliable units, tested not only by time, but also by professional racers, who characterize the bike for the most part on the positive side. Of course, compared to Japanese motorcycles, Chinese ones do not have such advantages, but the budget price significantly compensates for this drawback.

What could be better for traveling over rough terrain or minor off-road? Of course, Racer motorcycles. Reviews about them eloquently characterize the main advantages of the bike. It is reliable, unpretentious in operation, and in general, has all the necessary qualities for busy trips.

Some users note the unreliability of the factory chain - it breaks down quite quickly. Therefore, when buying a new motorcycle, you should immediately take care of replacing it. Particular attention should be paid to the throttle valve, which is installed on some models - few motorcyclists know how to use it. As a result, the candle sometimes floods. To avoid this, it is better to immediately read the instructions carefully.

Flaws

In addition to its advantages, this Stels 250 Enduro (reviews confirm) also has disadvantages. First, the shock absorber is bolted to the swingarm. Because of this, the design can sometimes be unreliable and calls into question the professionalism of the developers. The build quality is very poor. After purchase, it is best to retighten all existing bolts and have this motorcycle thoroughly inspected at a service station. Immediately after all the shortcomings are corrected, the sensations from using this motorcycle will be completely different. You should also adjust the clutch and brake foot.

The electronics are of terrible quality. It was already written above that it will die quite quickly with prolonged use. On most motorcycles it stops functioning before 1 thousand km. Repairing it is quite difficult; even competent office services often fail to cope with this task. If the mileage is much higher, and it seems that the electronics are working properly, then you need to check them carefully. Because there are only three options here: either it has already been repaired, or it is still broken, or it will soon become faulty. Toy wings on a motorcycle. This is not a disadvantage, but normal protection is missing. In general, thanks to this decision, the manufacturer was able to reduce the weight of the motorcycle. It is best to change the wings and it is advisable to do this with a model from Irbis.

How to choose a light enduro motorcycle

Motorcycles can be classified into light, medium and heavy. There is also a division of iron horses into utilitarian and sports:

  1. Utilitarian. Soft, quiet models with a long engine life. The suspension allows you not to notice small bumps and potholes on the road. The weight of such motorcycles is greater than that of sports motorcycles (due to the metal frame for the tank). As a result, they are more difficult to manage.
  2. Sports. They are distinguished by a rigid suspension, lightweight design, and a powerful engine. The latter requires more frequent maintenance. Such models are created for experienced motorcyclists who ride exclusively off-road.

Racer Enduro 150, the photo of which is presented above, is distinguished by the lightness, speed and power inherent in sports models.

Experienced motorcyclists advise following some tips when buying an “iron horse”:

  1. 80cc and 125cc require constant use of the clutch and high revs.
  2. The size of the motorcycle must match your height so that it is comfortable to sit, stand, turn, and jump on.
  3. Two-stroke motorcycles are demanding on the skills of a motorcyclist. They are explosive and are used primarily in motocross.
  4. Four strokes need to maintain revs, run smoothly and have smooth power.
  5. The 250cc has a large operating range, allowing you to ride in high gears or use the clutch with the engine revved up.

Choosing an enduro motorcycle has many features, most of which should be taken into account when purchasing.

Advantages

Engine

Let's take it in order. Let's talk about the good stuff first. And there are quite a lot of good things about the Racer Enduro 300. And the most important thing is the engine. The engine here is called 170FMN, with a power of about 20 hp, a volume of 270 cm3, two valves and air-oil cooling with huge radiators. The radiators are really large, almost the size of liquid-cooled engines. I don’t even know if it was worth installing radiators so large? It will certainly be difficult to overheat it. But damaging these same radiators is not a complicated matter. By the way, the 170FMN engine is a direct competitor to the mega-popular 172FMM. But unlike the latter, the 170th has a balancing shaft, which makes it completely vibration-free, and this, you know, is quite a big plus. In addition, I suspect that due to the larger volume, the 170FMN has a little more torque than the 172FMM. Otherwise, both of these engines are archaic and simple as a corner of a house, but at the same time reliable.

Carburetor

It is not surprising, but on such a truly budget device, an excellent Nibbi Racing carburetor with a diffuser of as much as 34 mm is installed!!! And this is actually great! Nibbi carburetors are famous for their stable operation at any speed and under any operating conditions. And the throughput of the 34th diffuser will certainly reveal the full potential of the engine.

Fuel tank

The tank on this vehicle is installed at 7.5 liters and is made of translucent plastic, through which you can easily control the fuel level. For modern Chinese-made motorcycles, such tanks are far from new. But again, given the cost of the Racer Enduro 300, this is a definite advantage.

Suspension

Of course, this motorcycle has a very simple and not very long-travel suspension. But nevertheless, the fork is perhaps one of the best in this price category, although it has no adjustments (which is actually very good). The rear suspension is progressive, which is also a plus. Shock absorber with expansion tank. Based on the price of the motorcycle, there are no complaints about the suspension. It somehow works and is already good.

Brakes

The brake mechanisms, of course, cannot be called outstanding. Like the pendants, they are the simplest. But from a motorcycle of this level, perhaps, nothing more is required. The front and rear calipers are two-piston and they do the stopping.

PTS

Yes, yes, despite the inexpensive cost of the motorcycle, it is equipped with a vehicle passport. And also all the lights and mirrors. You can register it without any problems and get a banner... well, in the sense of a number. For me this is an insignificant advantage, but for many it is a significant plus.

Size

Well, another determining factor when buying this moto can be the size of this moto. It's full size. In the range of over 100 kopecks, large motorcycles, one or two and miscalculated. Of course, this is a plus only for tall people, taller than 175-180 cm. If you are shorter, it will of course be more difficult.

Eachine Racer 250 DIY KIT Racing Quadcopter Review

Hi all. Today we are reviewing a racing quadcopter with BC motors and an FPV system, Eachine Racer 250 DIY KIT. The review is rather dedicated to beginners who are far from assembling, configuring, and flashing any operations necessary for it to finally take off. An introductory review with a description of all the necessary little things that anyone who wants to delve into the subject of racing quadcopters will encounter.

First, a little theory. This quad is 250-size, the diagonal distance between the axes of the motors is 280m. Dimensions: 220x233x50 mm. Weight: 400 g (without battery)

Designed exclusively for racing flights with freestyle elements. This class of quadcopters is not at all designed for smooth aerial photography, so if your goal is to fly slowly and smoothly, as well as get beautiful aerial shots, then these quadcopters are not for you! If you want to race, fly, do flips and various “tricks”, as well as feel like a pilot and see the flight from the first person, the way flying birds and the heroes of the movie “Star Wars” see it, then this is all for you! I myself have been skeptical about all these quadcopters for quite a long time, although for a couple of years now during the summer period the musk has been literally inundated with reviews about all kinds of quadcopter options. Usually this is RTF (Ray to Fly - ready to fly out of the box) for 15-50 bucks. But one day I accidentally came across a video on Youtube and I really wanted to experience all the delights of a live broadcast of flights myself.

This type of quadcopter is usually sold separately. those. literally, if you want to assemble something similar, then in addition to the quadcopter itself you will need to purchase: 1) Control equipment with a receiver, which we install in the quadcopter; 2) Batteries (at least 2-3 pieces); 3) Video glasses, helmet or monitor for FPV flights. 4) Well, and the usual consumables in the form of spare blades, a pair of motors, etc.

For beginners, perhaps, it should be separately noted that equipment from quadrics such as Syma, Tarantula, JJRC, etc. do not fit, you need equipment of the same type - Flysky FS-i6, Radiolink AT9, etc.

Regarding batteries, 3S or 4S batteries are suitable for this type of quadcopter; as a rule, batteries with a capacity of 1500 to 2200mAh are most often used. Video glasses and helmets are needed, first of all, in order to get the maximum pleasure from the flight. Flying racing quads on a monitor is inconvenient, although possible. Most often on alieexpress, banggood, gearbest you can find simpler ZMR250 and QAV250 kits; they are, of course, cheaper, but the equipment is much poorer and the assembly is more complex. If we make a simple comparison, the ZMR and QAV kits do not include a heading camera, an FPV transmitter, or LED backlight, and the assembly is also more complicated due to the fact that the Eachine Racer 250 has all the contacts and power wiring for the motors/controllers already soldered on the bottom of the frame, which greatly simplifies assembly. Accordingly, the assembled model looks more presentable and neat due to the fact that there is no need to solder and hide a bunch of wires inside. So the best choice for a beginner, given the desire to assemble a quad on his own, would be Eachine Racer 250.

And so, we decided on the tasks and choice of model. Let's move on to the review of the kit itself. The order was placed on March 4, transferred for delivery on March 8, and on March 31 the parcel fell into my hands. Delivery is quite prompt. The parcel number was tracked all the way. The box with spare parts was wrapped in one layer of isolon and packed in a simple bag.

The box took a beating (well, our Russian Post just can’t master neat and fast delivery methods).

The weight of the entire box is 567 grams. Opening the box, we see instructions and a bunch of parts, each of which is placed in a separate antistatic bag.

The kit includes:

1) Frame + anti-vibration platform for the camera The frame consists of a lower part made of textolite, on which capacitors and contacts for powering regulators and motors are soldered, and there are also all the necessary connectors for connecting LEDs and additional small items. The upper part of the frame is made of 1mm carbon fiber.

2) 4 ESC Simonk regulators for 12A (they are responsible for controlling each motor)

3) Naze32 10DOF flight controller with barometer and compass on the F1 processor (you can choose CC3D) - is responsible for controlling the entire quadcopter, to put it simply - this is its brains.

4) 4 motors 2204 2300kv (different directions), the direction of the motor usually means the rotation of the motor opposite to the direction of tightening the propeller fixing nuts, CW and CCW 5) 4 beams - many are confused by the plastic legs, but on specialized forums some owners of both types of quadcopters (with plastic and carbon beams) they write that in practice, plastic legs are in no way inferior in strength. 6) Aluminum head

7) Front LEDs

8) Heading camera 1000TVL - a non-recording camera, intended only for orientation during flight, with viewing through video glasses or a helmet 9) Video transmitter 600mW 5.8G for 32 channels - designed to transmit a video signal via radio from the camera to a monitor/glasses/helmet

10) Antenna for the TX video transmitter “mushroom”. Important!!! You cannot connect the power of the quadcopter without a screwed antenna to the video transmitter!!! Burns out very quickly!

11) 2 sets of screws, size 5045, the screws are hard, rather fragile.

12) Velcro for the battery, a carbon wrench for unscrewing the propeller fastening nuts, three hex keys required for assembly

Assembly:

We begin assembly with the flight controller. I initially started assembling the quadcopter according to the instructions, and only then found out that the instructions incorrectly indicated the position of the flight controller. So some photos will have conflicting information. The controller must be installed so that the micro-USB slot is on the left side of the quad, with the arrow pointing forward. We take our Naze32 controller and attach nylon legs to it so that the nuts are on top.

The green textolite board on the controller does not allow the nuts to be installed evenly to install the legs (the corners get in the way); it needs to be filed with a file. Then we connect the complete wiring and install the controller on the bottom of the frame. And we fix the flight controller to the bottom of the frame with 4 screws.

Next, we take the “face”, install the front LEDs in it and fix them with small, countersunk screws. The fastening is so-so. It holds, of course, but it would be much safer to tighten the LEDs onto the nut from the reverse side. Recently there was a review on Muska where running lights on a car were assembled from exactly the same LEDs.

Then we put the lower part of the frame aside and take the upper one. We attach a video transmitter to it. To do this, unscrew the nut from the antenna connector, take 2 nylon spacers and two screws and secure the transmitter to the housing.

The next step will be installing the regulators and connecting the motors to them. This is the only part of the assembly that requires a soldering iron and minimal soldering skills. The contact pads are already all tinned, so all we have to do is solder 12 wires from the regulators to the frame. Do not mix up the order of soldering the wires. This time, everything in the instructions is correct.

We install the motors on the “legs” of the quadric and fasten them to the screws. Motor installation order: top left and bottom right clockwise (CCW), top right and bottom left counterclockwise (CW). The easiest way to figure out which one to put where is to check which way the nut is screwed. If clockwise, then the motor rotates counterclockwise, it must be placed on the top right or bottom left.

Scheme

We pass the wires from the motors through the partitions of the legs and connect the motors to the regulators.

After successful soldering, install the “legs” and secure them to the bottom of the frame with 2 screws.

We install the face, connect the front LEDs. We fix it with screws to the bottom of the frame.

Then we take the anti-vibration platform and “push” the dampers into the holes of the platform and the upper part of the body. I installed the platform after I assembled the entire frame. I had to suffer. It is easier to install while the top of the frame is not secured.

After this, you can begin installing the upper part of the frame. First, we connect all the connectors of the video transmitter and camera. It is very convenient that all the connectors are different - there is no possibility of mixing something up and plugging it in the wrong place. The camera must be installed in such a way that the longest “tongue” of the board faces upward. It allows you to adjust the tilt of the camera as long as the screws on the top frame cover are not tightened.

Then we take carbon spacers and apply them to the top of the beams. And we lay the upper part of the frame on top. We look for a position so that the holes for the screws in the frame and supplies match and tighten the screws. Almost ready. Take the remaining screws and tighten them.

The quadcopter is assembled. We apply cosmetics. We hide the excess wires and secure the regulators to the legs using nylon ties. Done. Assembly is complete.

The total weight of the quadcopter, with installed protection, battery attachment and battery was 550 grams

The next stage is updating, flashing and configuring the flight controller. For this we need any computer with Internet access. Download the Cleanflight Configurator application for Google Chrome. Let's launch. The main program window will open, and the first thing we do is download the CP210x Driver to connect the quadcopter to the computer.

We take the quadcopter and a USB cable to connect to the computer, connect it and press the green “Connect” button in the upper right corner. The flight controller settings window opens.

After we have successfully connected the quad to the computer, we move on to the firmware update stage. There are several firmwares: openpilot, cleanflight, betaflight... Here you need to try and choose the best one for yourself. We will analyze the option for beginners - the more popular and stable version of Betaflight from Boris... to do this, go to the website and download the current firmware. It is always advised to download the penultimate version of the firmware as it is more stable and functional. Download Betaflight 2.6.0 “betaflight_2.6.0_NAZE.hex”, remember the file location. Launch Cleanflight again (the quadcopter is connected to the computer), and without pressing the “Connect” button, select “Firmware Flasher” (1) from the menu on the left side of the screen and click on the icon in the right, bottom part of the screen “Load Firmware (Local)” (2 ) - indicate the path to the firmware file that we downloaded earlier. Then click Flash Firmware (3). And we wait for the firmware to finish. (4) The entire procedure takes less than a minute.

After successful firmware, the first thing to do is turn off the compass and barometer (1) (the version with the CC3D controller does not have them). I don’t know about others, but with the compass and barometer turned on, my quadcopter is unpredictable. It can turn on its own, spin around the rudder, or even roll over. For a long time I could not understand why he behaved this way; a solution was found, but not immediately. To disable, go to the “CLI” tab (2). On the bottom line, enter the following commands one by one:

1) set baro_hardware = NONE 2) set mag_hardware = NONE

and save the changes with the command 3) save After entering the “save” command, the flight controller should reboot and the compass and barometer at the top of the screen (2) will stop lighting.

Let's move on to the next setup step. In the first tab “Setup” we check that the accelerometer is working correctly, i.e. whether the flight controller correctly determines the position of the quadcopter in space. To do this, we tilt the quadcopter in different directions and the image on the computer screen should correspond to the tilt of the quadcopter. On the screen, the front of the quadcopter is indicated by a large green arrow (1). If all the movements of the quadcopter correspond to the image on the screen, then we place the quadcopter on a flat surface and press the button (2) “Calibrate Accelerometer”, after successful calibration we go to the tab (3) “Configuration” (If the movements of the quadcopter do not correspond to the image, then we you will need to programmatically set a different location for the flight controller, more on that below)

Here we see the main settings: 1) The first thing to choose is the type of our quadcopter, and check again that the rotation pattern of the motors matches ours. 2) Motor settings item, here we set the minimum/maximum gas and configure the motor blocking. MOTOR_STOP - blocking of motors during arming, i.e. When you connect the controller to the quadcopter, your motors will not rotate when activated. If the slider is removed, then when the ap is connected, the engines will start at minimum gas. ONESHOT125 - does not work on our regulators. If I'm not mistaken, this is a technology for high-speed data exchange between the controller and motor controllers. Minimum Throttle - the minimum throttle value, it is important that this value is greater than the value at which the motors begin to rotate. You can determine the minimum value for the start of motor rotation in the “Motors” tab, but more on that below. Middle Throttle - average throttle value, set to 1500. Maximum Throttle - maximum throttle value, set to 2000. 3) If your accelerometer did not correctly display the position of the quadcopter on the PC screen (the quadcopter in the image is upside down, or its sides are inverted), then just In this menu you can programmatically change the position of the quadcopter. To do this, using an experimental random method, we try to replace the angle so that the position of the quadcopter corresponds to the image on the screen. 4) Menu for selecting the method in which you connect the control equipment transmitter. In this kit, with a useful controller, there was a wire only for connecting via PWM (i.e., each channel is transmitted via a separate wire). Via PWM it connects normally, it works! But for some reason everyone likes to connect via SBUS. An adapter for connecting via SBUS (all channels go via 3 wires) must be purchased separately. 5) Be sure to click the “SAVE and Reboot” button to save all changes.

The next item “PID Tuning” is for tuning the PIDs. The thing is very incomprehensible and most complex. Everyone changes them regularly, argues about the settings, and everyone has their own. In simple terms, this is adjusting flight stability. 1) choose LuxFloat - as the most stable and does not require changes. 2) Roll rate is an adjustment of the sensitivity of your sticks. The thing is quite individual. Whichever is more convenient for you. To begin with, we leave it as default, try it and adjust it in the right direction. 3) Setting up the pids themselves. To begin with, we fly by default and as we master control skills, we read more and more about these same PIDs and customize them for ourselves. In the “out of the box” version and by default, the quad flies, not perfectly stable of course (there is also “chatter” and swaying, etc.), but it’s good for training.

The next Receiver item is setting up the equipment connection. 1) Select the type of our equipment. The main thing is to choose the type so that the movement of the gas stick corresponds to the Throttle slider. And the second nuance - we turn on the equipment, set both sticks to the central position and the first 4 values should be equal to 1500, and in the extreme positions 1000 and 2000, respectively (this is arranged in the menu of the equipment itself in the “Sub-Trim” and “End-Point” items . And then we set up the remaining channels on different switches to switch modes, arming, etc. Since everyone’s equipment is different, detailed settings can be found on Youtube. Next, the “Modes” tab is the setting for switching flight modes. Without this setting, you can’t will be able to start the engines. ARM - arming (connecting the equipment with the quadcopter). I configured the arming on a separate, two-position switch (I have channel 4). ANGLE - the simplest stabilization mode. Very smooth. Recommended for beginners. It is also turned on when landing, for a smooth descent and landing. I set it to channel 3 (three-position switch, in the lower position). HORIZON is also a fairly stable and smooth mode, but a little more choppy and allows you to do flips (holding the right stick to one side). I set it to the same channel 3 (three-position switch, in the middle position) AIR MODE - a more advanced mode, many fly in it. Maximum stabilization regardless of throttle position. It's still difficult for me. I set it to channel 3 (three-position switch, in the upper position, but I don’t use it yet) ACRO - a mode for experienced pilots, enabled by default, i.e. If we disable all our modes, then we’ll get ACRO. I don't recommend it to beginners. The quad becomes sharp and fast.

And the last setting item we need is Motors. Here we can see the minimum value at which the motors begin to rotate (for the Configuration item), and we can also calibrate all the motors. To calibrate the motors, first of all we remove all the blades from the motors!!! IMPORTANT! If not removed, injury may occur. Then activate (1) the slider. Raise the general (2) motor slider up. Connect the battery to the quadcopter. A short signal will be heard, then lower the slider (2) down, the usual signal for turning on the quadcopter will be heard. After this, slowly raise (2) the slider up. At the same time, the motors will start spinning. Raise it to the maximum value and release it down. Calibration is complete. Right there, with the slider for each motor, you can see the motor start value.

Save all the settings again and turn off the quadcopter. After this, we install the propellers, connect the battery and you can proceed to the first flight.

Flight.

Honestly, I didn't think it was so powerful. I already have a couple of quads (Cheerson CX-10, Tarantula 1505), but compared to them this is just a monster. It's like comparing a Lada with a 1.5 liter engine to some Ferrari. At the first launch, the adrenaline went through the roof. He's very sharp. Even in ANGLE mode. It will take more than a dozen flights to get used to it and learn to fly. The video captures the first test flight, nothing extraordinary, just the fact that it flies) Our weather is not yet suitable for flying, there is still knee-deep snow in the open fields.

Of course, you need to fly in open space, outside the city. To prevent the quadcopter from falling on someone's head. And at first we will fall - very often. Most often, out of fear of the quadcopter “flying away” back to China. In this regard, the purchase of the following spare parts is strongly recommended:

1) Spare blades. It is advisable to buy 10-20 pairs at once. They break very often. Blades of sizes 5040 and 5045 are suitable (5045 were included in the kit, I bought the same ones). On the forums they advise buying KingKong blades.

2) Motor protection (sold there on Banggood and costs a penny). Protects the motor housing, taking the blow.

Additional Information

3) Spare beams. Definitely take it as a spare. In a week of flights, I haven’t broken a single one yet. But I didn't fly high either. For now only training flights. It is also recommended to wrap them with electrical tape, which increases their strength. There were cases when people managed to fly after a broken leg and successfully land the copter on “duct tape”.

4) It is advisable to print a partition for fixing the battery. In early revisions, the frame included a carbon partition, which did not allow the battery to demolish the flight controller due to inertia. Now there is no such partition. And if the quadcopter falls face down, then the battery, by inertia, flies deeper inside the frame, tearing out all the brains of the quadcopter. Here you can download a 3D drawing of this partition and print it at any advertising agency. For installation you will need 4 more M3 screws, 16mm long, with nuts. The frame already has holes for its installation. The weight of the part is only 13 grams.

Additional Information

5) I also took Velcro, because... The complete set is quite short. Of course, you can use it, but one is not enough to attach a GPS tracker and camera.

At your discretion, you can buy a couple of spare motors and regulators.

Conclusion: The quadcopter is fast, playful, powerful, and angry! Flying at first is scary. Requires long training to master all flight capabilities. It is more difficult to control than cheap RTF quads with collector engines. It takes time to study specialized forums. It is necessary to buy a lot of things, without which it simply will not fly. You can, of course, buy a complete set, but the cost is many times higher. The quadcopter is not at all suitable for filming and smooth flights. Not suitable as a first quadcopter to gain skills in controlling quadcopters.

But on the other hand, it is ideal for those pilots who have already “grown up” from ordinary small quadcopters with manifold motors. A completely different feeling from flying!!! Even without taking into account FPV. After mastering its flight characteristics and with more or less confident flight, you can immediately move on to FPV flights and again get a lot of new emotions! And if you consider the fact that the assembly process is also a pleasure. Then we get a triple bonus!)

Eachine Racer 250 is an ideal transition from small quadcopters with brushed motors to the class of racing quadcopters with BC motors! Budget-friendly, simple and reliable.

Thank you all for your attention. Good luck on your flights!)

Engine and transmission

When creating this model, the designers paid attention to ensuring that its dynamic performance was at a decent level - the maximum speed of the Racer Nitro 250 can reach 110 km/h, which is enough for driving around the city and on highways. The Nitro 250 ck has a 224 cc engine

cm, allowing you to get power up to 14.7 horsepower, which is plenty for a motorcycle of this class. The engine is vertical with an additional air-cooled balancing shaft, which ensures stable engine operation even at high speeds. Despite the fact that the engine is a single-cylinder, four-stroke, the motorcycle can be easily ridden by two people with virtually no loss of power. The Japanese carburetor installed in this modification ensures stable quality of the air-fuel mixture. The manual transmission with five gears is designed to make shifting as comfortable as possible for the driver. Additionally, the exhaust system has a resonator to reduce noise levels and increase engine power.

Racer Enduro

The lineup of “racers” is constantly updated, but special attention is worth paying attention to the Racer Enduro motorcycle. It is a classic pit bike with a large wheel radius and a fast 150 cm3 engine. It is characterized by decent technical properties and high maneuverability. It is worth noting right away that the motorcycle is not intended for driving on the highway, but it feels great on a dirt road.

As for maintenance and operation, the Racer Enduro motorcycle meets all consumer requirements. It is unpretentious, does not require frequent repairs, is quite reliable, and is easy to tune and control. It is equipped with a reliable air-cooled engine and has a power of just over 10 hp. With.

From all of the above, it follows that Racer Enduro can provide worthy competition to its analogues. Of course, this is not the only representative of its class, but in terms of its technical and operational characteristics it can give odds to some models.

Stels 400 Enduro: we're not afraid of off-roading!

It must be admitted that the designers from the Middle Kingdom have come up with a good bike that perfectly suits its purpose. Simple as a brick, it is assembled from the simplest possible components, diligently copied from old Japanese motorcycles. And in the case of the Stels 400 Enduro, this is only a plus - there is practically nothing to break in it, and direct hands eliminate minor assembly flaws in a couple of days.

In the steel tubular frame of the Stealth 400 Enduro motorcycle, the Chinese placed a 1-cylinder 386 cc air-cooled engine, which, by the way, is very high-torque. Peak power (19 hp) occurs at 7000 rpm, and peak torque (20 Nm) at 5500 rpm. Considering the off-road nature of the bike, this is quite good. There are traditionally five gears, and fuel is supplied by a carburetor, and the Stealth 400 Enduro engine is “tailored” for AI-92. The first 3 gears are quite short, and the gearbox works clearly, not at all as some expect from a Chinese bike.

It is worth noting that for motorcycles of this class 400 cc. cm - already quite a serious volume. The 650 cc models, represented mainly by the seasoned Japanese, are much heavier and are not easy to handle, especially somewhere in the mud. Many enduro fans consider 400cc as the golden mean in the matter of choosing a cubic capacity, and the logic in this decision can be traced. Stels 400 Enduro is a fairly light motorcycle (only 132 kg), however, with a high center of gravity. However, any beginner can cope with it, especially if he does not try to set records for conquering off-road terrain in the very first days.

The bike handles well, both on and off the pavement.

Beginning motorcyclists should pay attention to the significant saddle height, and even better, try the bike on before purchasing. In reviews of Stealth 400 Enduro owners, there is information that a high saddle creates certain inconveniences for short bikers, especially off-road.

This can be easily understood by anyone who has dropped a motorcycle due to the fact that his legs did not reach the ground confidently enough. On the other hand, for any more or less experienced biker this parameter is not critical. There are also fragile, short girls who can easily cope with heavy Harley-Davidsons thanks to their experience, and experience is something to be gained.

It should be noted that the technical characteristics of the Stels 400 Enduro turn it into a good “rogue”, capable of driving even where a prepared SUV gets stuck. On the highway, you can feel the lack of dynamics, especially after 80-90 km/h, although the motorcycle slowly but surely picks up the stated 130 km/h. But let's not forget that asphalt is not his element.

Racer motorcycle production

Racer motorcycles, which have Chinese roots, are assembled by designers in Russia. For assembly, components from Japanese, Taiwanese, Chinese and Russian manufacturers are used. The Racer company offers a fairly wide range of motorcycles, from which you can choose the most suitable modification depending on your individual preferences.

Russian assembly of Chinese models is carried out through several conveyors. Part of the bike is assembled exclusively with the help of qualified specialists. It cannot be said that Chinese “racers” are superior to Japanese manufacturers, but we should not forget that the budget of these bikes is accessible to everyone. Therefore, you can turn a blind eye to some shortcomings.

The Racer company offers its consumers an optimal warranty period of service, which is not typical for most manufacturers. Racer motocross motorcycles meet all the requirements of true motorcycle enthusiasts. True bikers say that a bike should have an aggressive appearance, dynamic character and not be at all afraid of dirt - these are the qualities that cross-country shoes meet.

Preparation for travel of the Chinese enduro motorcycle Racer Ranger RC250-GY8A

In addition, an LED lamp was installed in the headlight and the light became much better. But in the future I’m thinking of adding additional light.

A plastic center case with a quick-release fastener was also installed. The company purchased textile side cases for him, which are just right for off-road motorcycles. But to install them, you first need to make luggage frames. Along with the frames, it is also planned to protect the plastic. This is of course extra weight, but protection is still needed.

By the way, there was also protection for the levers on the steering wheel. I believe this attribute is vital to any off-road motorcycle. Being left in a deep forest with a broken brake or clutch lever is not the best scenario.

Racer Ranger vs Motoland Dakar

I need the best possible Chinese dual sport motorcycle and there aren't that many options. The choice was between the Dakar 250 ST from Motoland, with a new 172 engine with a balance shaft, with a power of about 20 hp, and the Racer Ranger RC250-GY8A with a four-valve liquid-cooled engine, with a power of 27 hp. There is also a good Avantis Dakar, but the price is almost the same as the DRZ, so it is out of the competition.

Motoland Dakar 250 ST

In the balance, Motoland has an excellent package with a minimum of subsequent alterations: the star is mounted with six bolts, and not with four studs, like the Racer; Full LED optics and a high windshield for comfort on the highway. On the Racer side, there is one advantage, but a very, very significant one - it is a much more powerful engine. Otherwise, the motorcycle is inferior to Motoland and, even more so, inferior to the Japanese in stock. But power turned out to be more important for me, and after some time the new Racer Ranger was standing in the box next to me.

Stels Enduro 250 review

Today in Russia this model is in great demand, primarily because of the good price-quality ratio. For just 72,500 rubles you will get a powerful 250 cubic centimeter motorcycle. Despite the motorcycle’s relation to the “enduro” class, Chinese specialists did everything to make it as similar as possible to cross-country models. Reviews of the Stealth Enduro 250 are different, many praise this model, others consider it cheap junk that breaks quickly. Often the assembly from a Chinese manufacturer leaves much to be desired, so when purchasing, be sure to check and tighten all bolts and fasteners.

This model appeared on the Russian market relatively recently, but has already gathered a whole community of fans who discuss the motorcycle and share tips. The Chinese themselves made the Stels Enduro 250 a little “invisible” in the sense that it is difficult to notice in a crowd of similar ones. On the one hand, this is a big plus, since some models turned out ugly, which cannot be said about our model. On the other hand, the motorcycle did not get its own feature and remained just as simple. But what else can you expect from the Chinese?

Once again, we note the fairly high-quality basic materials. The body of the motorcycle is strong and thick, so don’t be afraid that when you jump, the engine will fall off or the frame will crack. The wheels are also quite durable; unlike the cheapest enduro motorcycles, it does not develop wheel alignment during long-term use. The plastic itself is relatively strong, but a little hard. Owners of Stealth Enduro 250 recommend changing the wings, considering them to be for children. You can install wings from Ibris, they will better protect you from dirt.

And in conclusion, we note the most important drawback of the motorcycle - cheap electronics. If you've driven 1,000 km without any electronic failure, congratulations, you're lucky. They also complain that repairing the Stels Enduro 250 in terms of electronics is too complicated; it is not always possible to repair it at an official dealer.

Engine

The engine of this horse is of high quality, but it cannot be called powerful. The rather archaic 2-valve, 1-cylinder power unit is unlikely to cope with long and difficult crossings. The Ranger RC300 engine loves high revs. The maximum speed of 145 km/h stated in the passport is difficult to achieve; in practice, even when driving on a flat road, only 130 km/h can be achieved (and then only with the gas fully opened).

Brake system

The brake system of the motorcycle is good - it works quickly. One of the disadvantages is the strongly protruding brake foot, which makes riding in a standing position impossible. In addition, many pilots complain about a knocking sound that occurs when braking sharply from the front - the problem is solved by tightening the chain and adjusting the bearings on the steering wheel.

Frame

Metal shields on the Racer Ranger 300 motorcycle reliably protect internal parts from impacts from below. The exhaust pipe is placed so as not to bend when the bike falls. The plastic of the bike is quite thin, but flexible, so it does not shatter into fragments when the motorcycle overturns.

Suspension

The suspension of the motorcycle is a telescopic fork and a classic monoshock absorber. The design is not adjustable and is not particularly durable; slight vibrations are possible when driving.

The bike is only suitable for traveling on roads (city, forest, dirt, country roads, etc.); it is better not to drive the vehicle completely off-road. Due to the design of the Racer Ranger's suspension, it is better not to use it for extreme stunts - this horse is not ready for jumping without serious modifications.

Transmission

The Racer Ranger 300 has a five-speed gearbox and a simple design. It works flawlessly. The first two gears are short, thanks to which the motorcycle starts off quite briskly. The speed of acceleration is also ensured by the lightness of the bike - in comparison with modern enduro bikes (200 kg and above), the 130 kg Racer ranger looks like a real “skinny bike”.

Chassis

It would be more correct to call the Racer Ranger RC300 GY8 not an enduro, but a tourenduro. There is no need to drive it on rough off-road conditions. But on a relatively smooth road the bike will obey the owner perfectly. It is light and maneuverable, responsive to all tilts and turns. The standard tires are Taiwanese (YUANXING 3.00-21), but made in good faith - stable and wear-resistant.

Racer Skyway

The Racer Skyway motorcycle belongs to the sports category; it is equipped with a 1-cylinder 4-stroke engine with a displacement of 200 cc. cm. The bike has a more modernized design and decent technical qualities, allowing you to feel comfortable in city traffic. The features of this motorcycle include the following qualities:

  • the optimal fuel tank volume is 10 liters;
  • brake system - disc;
  • the front suspension is equipped with two spring-hydraulic shock absorbers;
  • 5-speed gearbox.

This small capacity sports bike is perfect for beginner motorcyclists. It is unpretentious in maintenance, develops optimal speed, and also has a harmonious power-to-weight ratio.

Motorcycle TM Racing EN 250 F es 2008 review

The description of the TM Racing EN 250 F es 2008 motorcycle is in the queue for publication of the article. Announcement: Today, for almost every new motorcycle that comes into being, marketers strive to carve out their own niche. This one is a road sport, this one is a recreational enduro. But what class should we include a motorcycle that has a little bit of everything? A good bike should have a reliable engine, comfortable ergonomics and simple controls...

TM Racing EN 250 F es motorcycle not sold in Russia. Despite the fact that good models of motorcycles have a very respectable price, and the season for their use is relatively short, the motorcycle market is developing rapidly. And if you believe the words of dealers, then some models of recently released motorcycles are selling like hot cakes at the beginning of the season, and the models brought to Russia are clearly not enough to fully satisfy consumer demand.

A motorcycle has long ceased to be an alternative to a car, and the times when this equipment was bought only because there was not enough money for a full-fledged car are forgotten. Nowadays, two-wheelers can be called technological marvels in many cases, and their cost can be compared with that of prestigious cars.

Many people have started buying motorcycles for hobby purposes as riding or even collecting them has become a good pastime for many people. Many motorcycles, for example the TM Racing EN 250 F es whose technical characteristics allow us to call the model a prestigious brand, are in demand among both beginners and experienced motorcyclists.

Motorcycles with an engine capacity of 249 cc. see, appeared as a result of long work of inventors who sought to create a model that was not inferior in characteristics to other versions of the motorcycle. In some cases, these models are not only not inferior, but also ahead of other motorcycles, as they have minimal fuel consumption and other excellent parameters.

TM Racing EN 250 F es belongs to a common class of motorcycles with engine capacity from 125 to 250 kb. cmAs a rule, these are light and relatively low-power motorcycles. Here you will get flexible control, easy steering and low weight of the motorcycle. Therefore, such motorcycles are suitable for almost every beginner, regardless of their characteristics. The exception is motorcycles with two-stroke engines of the “sport” and “cross” classes, since bikes of this class are distinguished by more power and an extremely sharp response to the throttle, which also does not make them obedient to control.

Go to the entire model range of TM Racing motorcycles, on this page you can find TM Racing EN 250 F es motorcycles from other years of production and information about them

We search the market in search of a motorcycle. Part 1. New “Chinese”

Fans of two-wheeled vehicles are looking forward to the first warm days of this year to finally open the long-awaited season. “Horseless” motorcyclists are studying the market and looking closely at any option. What to buy for the season? New “Chinese” or old “Japanese”? Let's try to figure this out and consider various offers within $2000 among new Chinese motorcycles.

Having this amount in your pocket, it is not so easy to choose a two-wheeled friend. A used Japanese car for that kind of money is not the latest year of manufacture and has a high mileage. But there are a huge number of new Chinese motorcycles on the market. Let's start with them first.

M1NSK

Our readers are already quite familiar with the motorcycle equipment of the Minsk Motorcycle Plant. We tested the M1NSK TRX300, M1NSK C4 250 and M1NSK D4 125. Moreover, the C4 250 and D4 125 were our resource test...

An important advantage of the new “Chinese” is that with the fall in the exchange rate of both rubles, they are even cheaper than before. Today it is profitable to buy such a product. These are, of course, mostly small-capacity motorcycles. On the one hand, the same 250 cc is not much, on the other hand, the power is quite enough for active movement around the city. And there is less chance of getting killed on a quarter car, and the consumption is very small.

The 250 cc MINSK TRX300 today can be bought for 51,900,000 rubles, which is approximately $2,400. Not bad, considering that it “started” with almost $5,000! For this money we get a new touring enduro with a 250 cc engine (liquid cooling) and huge panniers. Everything is good, but the price does not fit into our review. After all, you need to buy equipment for the season, and it costs from $500 to infinity...

However, the TRX300 has a few problems. With frequent use on serious off-road conditions, it begins to “crumble”. The engine does not have the most expressive “low-end”; its dynamics will initially amaze a beginner motorcyclist. And then there is every chance that the lack of power will quickly get boring...

If you need to ride along guerrilla trails, then the MINSK X200/CX200 is a good option. The models differ in tires: the first has off-road tires, the second has city tires. The model costs 26,800,000 rubles ($1,240). It seems to be “China”, but the reviews are not bad: the motorcycle can go off-road and doesn’t fall apart. All problems have long been known and can be eliminated. But he only has 200 “cubes”...

And here is the famous “quarter” MINSK C4 250. Famous because in 2013 this motorcycle was in our editorial office all summer. According to the results of the resource test, it performed very well. Our only complaints were that the stock tires were too “oaky,” the stock head light was weak, and the clutch occasionally slipped. But overall a reliable technique. Since the fall, motorcycles have been sold on sale for 24,900,000 rubles. The marketer assured me that they were being discontinued and sold out. So I quickly ran to the store... and bought myself one of these.

Yes, discontinuation of production meant that problems with the availability of spare parts for this model would become even worse, but there are substitutes for all the main “consumables” (pads, filters, chain, spark plug). As for the engine parts, everything comes from a Suzuki GN250. But if the plastic breaks or something specific breaks, then it’s a disaster; you’ll have to order this part from Russia or China. Fortunately, motorcycles are very common in the East and are sold under many other brands.

However! The promotion is over - the motorcycles remain. As we were told at the plant, the C4 250 will not be produced yet due to the high cost of components due to the depreciation of the ruble. It is not in production plans for 2021. But there is enough stock in warehouses; this model should still be sold in the summer. Today the C4 250 can be purchased for 29,500,000 rubles ($1,360). This is the best option among all Minsk motorcycles.

The plant plans to focus on the budget model D4 125. At the moment the motorcycle is not on sale, but in the spring the D4 125 will appear in stores with a price of about $1000.

The model was also subjected to a life test, but was not impressed with its reliability. There were too many minor flaws and malfunctions. The factory workers assure that the motorcycle has been modernized and minor “roughness” has been eliminated. As a bonus, the fork was changed to a stronger one. Although there were no special complaints about the old one.

Nevertheless, 125 “cubes” is frankly not enough. On the other hand, the motorcycle is light, the tires are universal, there is a lot of traction at the bottom - it’s good for traveling in rural areas and off-road.

Baltmotors

The Baltmotors brand has been introduced to our market quite recently. The choice here is quite wide... The main competitor of the M1NSK C4 250 is the Baltmotors Street 250 DD. I think we will face them in a comparative test in the spring. In the meantime, we can talk about the price: a Kaliningrad “quarter” costs 40,060,000 rubles ($1,850). By the way, I’ve already seen it live - at first glance, it’s assembled well.

Why so expensive? Yes, because today the C4 250 can be purchased practically for free: if the components for it had arrived at the new rate, it would hardly have cost $1,360.

As the Baltmotors marketer assured me, they have no problems with spare parts.

By the way, Baltmotors Street can be purchased in a version with a less powerful 200 cc engine. Such a motorcycle will cost 33,650,000 ($1550).

Baltmotors Motard 200 DD also visited us once. Motard is not the most common class in our area, but its versatility makes it very popular in Europe.

Interestingly, this motorcycle can be bought in three versions: a motard with a 200 cc engine costs 33,650,000 rubles ($1,550), an enduro with the same engine costs the same, a 250 cc motard sells for 40,060,000 ($1,850).

For 30,340,000 rubles. ($1400) you can buy a Baltmotors Classic 200 chopper. In real life it seems a little larger than in the photo. It is also neatly assembled.

Hors

Hors motorcycles are assembled in Gomel. Recently, several new models of the Chinese brand have appeared on our market.

The Hors Z-150 is a funny little guy. Costs 24,350,000 rubles ($1120). “Impressive dynamics” is how the motorcycle is described on the dealer’s website. Yeah, she's very impressive with a 150 cc engine! But owner reviews of the motorcycle are very positive.

Hors F-160 is new for 2015. There is still little information about her. Offered for 23,300,000 rubles, or $1075.

“Quarter bikes” are still a better choice, because the power of 125-160 cc motorcycles will be frankly not enough. Hors C-250 can be purchased for 41,150,000 rubles. ($1900).

Hors T-250 is a little more expensive - 41,465,000 rubles. ($1915). The website states that the T-250 is a joint development of leading Belarusian and European specialists. Yeah, they believed it right away.

Here is another “joint development” - the B-250 model. But it already goes beyond our virtual budget - 47,030,000 rubles, or $2170. Why it is more expensive than the T-250 and S-250 is not entirely clear, because the characteristics are almost identical. But the design is good. That same feeling when a motorcycle looks like a bee.

Stels

You can also visit various multi-brand motorcycle dealerships. For example, in one of these for 48,000,000 rubles. ($2215) you can order Stels 400 GS. Its engine is 386.8 cc and liquid cooled. Now this is serious! Our Russian colleagues carried out a life test of this motorcycle - as a result, they liked it. They noted a good ratio of price and consumer characteristics, but found a lot of minor flaws in the build quality and components. But the city version of this motorcycle, Stels 400 GT, is priced at only 40,000,000 rubles ($1,850).

There is also the Desna 220 Phantom all-terrain vehicle. It is assembled at the Russian Stels plant and costs 26,000,000 ($1,200). Working volume - 200 cc. The engine is air-oil cooled.

Racer

Racer - inexpensive Chinese motorcycles. The “quarter” Nitro 250 is offered for 26,400,000 ($1,219). It looks impressive and is cheap. But what about the quality? Big question.

Owners of this motorcycle note that it is impossible to adjust the valve clearances without removing the engine. Until 2014, Racer produced the Racer Nitro model with a 200 cc engine. When installing a 250 cc engine on it, it was not taken into account that the cylinder head there was larger; accordingly, the distance between the frame and the valve cover decreased. The result is that when you try to remove it, the cover rests against the frame. "China" at its best! However, a bikepost.ru user rode 4,000 km on this one - and nothing broke.

Racer Ranger 300 with a 300 cc engine costs 34,320,000 rubles, or $1,585. Engine cooling is air-oil.

The less powerful Racer Ranger 200 in one of the stores is valued at 25,300,000 rubles. ($1168). A very good ratio of price and consumer characteristics, but the question of quality remains open. According to the owners, there are a lot of minor shortcomings. However, this applies to many Chinese motorcycles.

Verdict ABW.BY

The main advantage of Chinese motorcycles is their very low price. In the price range of “from a thousand to two” it is not so easy to find a good used motorcycle. At the same time, you can take a decent “quarter” under warranty. Again, Japanese 600 cc motorcycles will clearly consume more fuel than the 250 cc “Chinese” versions. And the issue of saving in this case is important.

However, after the purchase you will have to modify a lot yourself. Based on the experience of operating two M1NSK C4 250s, editorial and personal, I can say that immediately after purchase the owner of such a motorcycle needs to change the tires, oil, headlight bulb and brake fluid. A Chinese chain stretches very quickly, and a new branded one costs about $100.

Chinese motorcycle engines are most often copies of Japanese ones. But the Chinese technology is by no means Japanese, so motorcycles from the Middle Kingdom need to be tested according to all the rules. In my case, I need to change the oil several times during the first 1000 km. At the same time, it is undesirable to accelerate faster for the first 500 km... 40 km/h!

The main advice to buyers of Chinese motorcycles is to carefully study the operating experience of a particular model. Usually, specialized forums provide full information about the “sores” of a particular motorcycle, as well as ways to “treat” them.

However, the quality of Chinese motorcycles is growing - that's a fact. Models with engines larger than 250 cc appear. And with prices up to $2000, many models on our market this spring will sell like hotcakes. However, we'll wait and see.

Next time we will tell you what you can buy for up to $2000 among used motorcycles. Follow the site!

Flaws

And of course, the Racer Enduro 300 RC300-GY8A, in addition to bright advantages, such as an awesome engine and carburetor, also has no less striking disadvantages.

Wheels

The wheel rims on this enduro motorcycle are steel. I can't say they aren't durable. My test drive lasted about 20 minutes, but I need to drive it for at least a day. But the fact that they are heavier than aluminum ones is a fact. But most likely, they are unlikely to be particularly durable.

Star mount

The driven star is fixed to the hub with only 4 mounting points. And even through stupid silent blocks. This solution was taken from the Yamaha YBR 125 and is found to reduce shock loads on the chainring. But based on the operating experience of other Chinese motorcycles, this system doesn’t last at all. YBR has a star mounted on a separate bearing. In our case, there is no bearing and the silent blocks begin to loosen and tear out. The solution is to drill the holes all the way through and install the star firmly on the bolts. Why not do it right away?

Chain trap

Another obvious and incomprehensible jamb for me is the chain trap. Or rather, its complete absence. The chain itself, by the way, is 520, which is good. But the savings on matches from many Chinese manufacturers are absolutely incomprehensible to me.

Steering wheel

But the steering wheel will definitely have to be changed immediately. There is the cheapest iron steering wheel here, which will not withstand even the weakest falls. In addition, it has a diameter of 22 mm, instead of the now usual 28 mm.

Front fender

In general, the plastic on this motorcycle is not bad at all. This applies to the sidewalls and rear wing. They are made of ABS plastic in the style of KTM 12-16 years of production. This, by the way, is installed on many Chinese motorcycles. But the front wing is like a mare’s tail that wasn’t sewn on. Not only that, in my opinion, it has a stupid, shortened shape. It was also made from some kind of bucket. In short, together with the steering wheel, we immediately order a front fender, well, at least in the same KTM style and made of normal, high-quality plastic.

Workmanship

Let me remind you that products under the Racer brand are manufactured at a plant in the city of Barnaul from Chinese components. The plant also produces frames for motorcycles. And there are still complaints about the quality of these same welds. I haven’t seen any obvious flaws in welding for a long time; everything was welded reliably. But the aesthetics of these very seams is simply darkness. The second problem of most manufacturers and suppliers of motorcycles from China is a complete misunderstanding and ignorance of motorcycles in general and enduro motorcycles in particular. If you are not technically savvy, is it really impossible to invite a consultant? Any experienced endurist will immediately point out most of the mistakes and they can be avoided. But apparently the Racer company has not yet matured to this point.

Pros and cons of Racer Skyway RC250CS

Advantages:

  • Affordable price for both the motorcycle itself and its maintenance.
  • The technical characteristics of the Racer Skyway 250 are not inferior to those of its competitors.
  • A spacious 16-liter gas tank, coupled with fuel consumption of about 3 liters per 100 km, provides a huge range without refueling.
  • The brakes stop the bike quite effectively.
  • The build quality of the Racer Skyway RC250CS is quite good, although it varies from instance to instance.
  • Developed wind protection adds comfort, especially in cold or rainy weather.
  • The engine is not picky about the quality of gasoline - it readily consumes AI-92.

Flaws:

  • The stock battery is quite weak. The problem is eliminated by replacing it with a new one with a larger capacity.
  • From time to time, many bolts and nuts need to be tightened. This circumstance is even reflected in the user manual for the Racer Skyway 250.
  • Despite the technical simplicity of the engine, it loves good oil. Grandfather's M8B oil, which a normal person would even disdain to lubricate door hinges, should not be poured into it if you do not want to buy a new engine later.

Total

The release of a small-capacity tourenduro is a rather risky undertaking, because equipping a motorcycle belonging to the “long-range” class with a small engine is not the most popular solution. For example, Honda, in the wake of the popularity of its XL1000 Varadero model, released the XL125 Varadero model for European countries, which is a real small tourenduro, but it completely and miserably failed in sales. This is probably why the Chinese continue to rivet cruisers, sportbikes and road motorcycles, and bypass the touring enduro class.

However, the Racer Ranger 300 has a right to exist. The Racer company undertook a rather risky experiment, especially since the designers’ priority goal was clearly to reduce costs as much as possible. As a result, we received an outdated motorcycle in all respects, but one that fully corresponds to its class. In addition, when it comes to reliability, reviews from Racer Ranger RC300 owners are mostly positive. So for the money, and very modest ones at that, this is quite a decent bike. But - only “for your own money”. Prices aside, it is definitely inferior to all competitors in all respects.

Bottom line

There are now a huge number of Chinese motorcycles on the market with a cubic capacity similar to the Racer Skyway 250 RC250CS. Many of them are designed using the same components and assemblies, copied from Japanese motorcycles, or produced under a license purchased from the Japanese. To find any serious differences between them, you will have to try - most Chinese motorcycles look the same, let alone the technical component. This is why the Racer Skyway 250 stands out - it really looks pretty good, harmonious and modern. And from a design point of view, it is an ordinary, unremarkable small-capacity bike, inexpensive, simple and reliable. It is very suitable for a beginner as a first motorcycle.
