The ABM Apache 150 ATV is a product of the domestic company ABM, specializing in the mass production of various motor vehicles. This manufacturer has been on the all-terrain vehicle market since 1996. The company's products cannot be called completely original, since many components are provided by Chinese manufacturers, however, the quality of the models produced is quite high.
The AVM Apache 150 ATV has large wheels with a wide tread pattern, which, together with a high suspension, provides the vehicle with good maneuverability, as well as impressive cross-country ability. The model is capable of overcoming almost any road obstacles, including bumpy fields, snowy terrain, shifting sand, and swampy forest areas. The ATV has a wide range of applications; it can be used both for active recreation and for any kind of work. It should be noted that this model is now in greatest demand among hunters and fishermen. With its low structural weight, the ATV has a load capacity of 280 kilograms, which significantly expands its technical capabilities.
The model has two starting systems for the power plant, namely an electric starter or a kickstarter, which is, in principle, typical of other modern and not only ATVs. Driving safety is ensured by an effective braking system, the operation of which does not depend on the heating of equipment and working fluid.
One of the key features of the AVM Apache 150 ATV is a reduced level of toxic emissions during operation and increased fuel efficiency at a fairly affordable cost. Due to this, the model stands out on the market among a large number of its analogues.
Manufacturer and quality guarantee
specializes in the production of various motor vehicles. It began in 1996. It was in this year that the company opened and began producing motorcycles. At the moment, the plant’s products cannot be called original, because they buy some parts from their partners in China. However, despite this, the quality of the produced models still remains at a high level.

Apache 150 ATV
Until recently, it was believed that ATVs were an entertainment technique for the richer segment of the population. However, with the emergence of a manufacturer such as China on the world stage, the whole situation has changed dramatically. Today, people can buy quads regardless of their income, since their price categories have expanded significantly.
Apache 150 ATV
The Chinese produce fairly high-quality goods at prices significantly lower than their counterparts from the USA, Taiwan or Japan. Chinese ATV manufacturers quickly adopted the experience of engineers from abroad and began to produce good equipment. In this article, we will look at the topic of what Chinese ATVs are (using specific examples) and we will figure out whether it is necessary to buy more expensive equipment from China.
Model advantage
The Apache 150 ATV has large wheels and a fairly high suspension. It is these qualities that give this vehicle good maneuverability and maneuverability in almost any terrain, be it a bumpy field, snow, sand, swamp or forest.
You can use this all-terrain vehicle in almost any area of your life. For example, during active recreation or to perform some kind of work. Most often, hunters and fishermen have their eyes on this model.
In addition, the Apache 150 ATV is one of the cheapest of the Apache series.
Apache owners' opinion
Most people who have purchased Apache equipment are satisfied with their purchase.
For example, Egor Andreev wrote a review about the AVM Apache 200 ATV:
“I originally purchased this model because of its low price. Honestly, I thought that in the near future I would regret it. However, it turned out that the ATV does not require special care, and it is a pleasure to ride.”
And Alexander Golodyuk shared his impressions of his purchase of the Apache Track 250:
“I’ve wanted to buy a similar unit for a long time, but I didn’t have enough money. Not long ago I saved up and bought my dream. Now I ride it in the village all year round, I even taught my wife. Now we often argue about who will drive.”
dimensions
One of the main factors for the future owner of a motorcycle is the dimensions of the vehicle. After all, the more compact the model, the easier it is to place it in the garage or ride in narrow alleys. Apache 150 is medium in size.
The Apache 150 ATV has large wheels.
In more detail:
- during operation:
- length - 1740 mm;
- width - 980 mm;
- height is 1170 mm;
- during transportation:
- length - 1500 mm;
- width - 820 mm;
- height - 930 mm;
- wheelbase length is 1350 mm;
- the lowest ground clearance is 210 mm;
- the smallest turning radius is 3000 mm.
In general, for an ATV these dimensions are average. Considering its size, it is quite powerful, which is extremely rare for such motorcycles.

My motorcycle → Apache TVS 150 review
And so, hello again) I am fulfilling the promise made in the first post, and I present to you a short review of my Apache 150 motorcycle.
WORKING VOLUME (CM3): 147 COOLING SYSTEM: air MAXIMUM POWER FOR: 13.5 hp DIMENSIONS LENGTH/WIDTH/HEIGHT (MM.): 1976/743/1100 WHEELBASE (MM.): 1260 GROUND CLEARANCE ( MM.): 165 SEAT HEIGHT: 780 DRY WEIGHT (KG.): 135 NUMBER OF GEARS GEARBOX: 5 DRIVE TYPE: chain FRONT SUSPENSION: telescopic fork REAR SUSPENSION (TYPE): gas mono-shock absorber with 5 adjustments FRONT TIRE SIZE /REAR: 90-90-17 100/80/18 BRAKE TYPE FRONT/REAR: disc/drum
The maximum speed of this device is about 110 km/h. I’ll say right away that I haven’t accelerated over 90 yet because... I’m still just rolling in and I just haven’t been able to go on good, long straights on which I can develop this speed) Although at 90 it’s already starting to blow away from the bike and I have to bend slightly towards the steering wheel. I like the suspension, it’s very soft, and at 50 it swallows speed bumps without any problems. The motorcycle steers well at low speeds, and also at high speeds, but due to lack of experience, sometimes I turn the bike into a turn at the wrong time and break out in a cold sweat a couple of times)) The information panel, instrument indicators are easy to read, the speedometer is located in the center, which is good for me as a beginner , it’s more convenient and familiar to see, although lately I’ve been looking at the tachometer more often, so that the revolutions don’t go into the “red zone”.
What else can I write? It’s comfortable to sit on the Apache, the seating position is classic, the seats are good, everything is clearly visible in the mirrors when driving, at least to the left) there are folding footrests for the passenger, and most importantly there are protective bars with them so you can ride more calmly)
I’ll say a little about the engine, it holds the revs well, pulls briskly, if you release the clutch sharply with the gas on, ride on one wheel a little) Honestly, when I drove to the parking lot for the first time, I did just that, the feeling is indescribable) I’ll tell you about this first trip later. When developing the engine, cunning Indians used the secret Intake & Exhaust Surge technology, they say this is why the engine easily responds to the slightest vibration of the throttle and rushes vigorously if you sharply unscrew it all the way. There is also a dual-mode digital ignition designed to reduce the already low fuel consumption.
The gearbox seems to have no problems, neutral is quite easy to find, and it shifts clearly. In general, the only disadvantages of this motorcycle I can name are the light bulbs on the dashboard, the original ones quickly become unusable and there seem to be very few problems with spare parts. But! The previous owner has already changed the bulbs, and I hope there are no problems with spare parts for the ’08 motorcycle, at least serious ones.
Well, and most importantly, the appearance IMHO is a solid 5 and the prize from Top Gear in 2006 is by no means an accident.
That's enough for now) We need to prepare for the theory in gib2d. This Thursday I hope to get A category. By the way, I would be glad to have information about the equipment used to hand it over to the traffic police on Nagatinskaya. I think it would be the height of arrogance to come on your own motorcycle)
Specifications
Technical characteristics are the second main factor when choosing a motorcycle model.
In general, buyers in most cases pay most attention to:
- power plant;
- chassis.
People who are more or less versed in technology can pay attention to a number of other technical parameters. They will be discussed below, but now the most popular characteristics of the Apache 150 ATV will be considered.
Power point
The Apache 150 ATV has a four-stroke gasoline engine. One cylinder. And the working volume is 149.9 cubic meters. In this case, the rated output power at 6000 rpm is 12 horsepower/8.8 kilowatts. The maximum torque at 5000 rpm in one minute is 14 newtons/meter.

The transport is equipped with a forced air cooling system. Type of lubrication system - oil sump.
A carburetor fuel system is also installed, and the type of carburetor itself is Mikuni.
It is best to use fuel no lower than AI-92, and oil - 10w40. The ATV is equipped with a contactless ignition system with an electronic control unit. Electric starter or kickstarter starting system.
Chassis
The second important technical characteristic is the chassis. The chassis includes a transmission, chassis units and control mechanisms.
The chassis is the second important technical characteristic
More detailed characteristics are presented below:
- off-road front wheel tires, type AT21x7-10;
- off-road rear wheel tires, type AT20x10-10;
- hydraulic brake system;
- front and rear disc brakes;
- centrifugal, dry clutch;
- 3 gears;
- spring-hydraulic front and rear shock absorbers;
- rear drive system;
- The transmission system is represented by a V-belt variator.
Like the power plant, the chassis is made at an average level, so this ATV is not suitable for those who like maneuverability at high speed. However, for any other purpose the Apache 150 is ideal.

Reviews
- I purchased this ATV and made a pretty perfect purchase. The equipment has good power, an aggressive and very stylish design, as well as impressive reliability. In principle, the ATV fully justifies its cost. I tested it in all modes, on all surfaces and in different weather conditions. Everywhere the device does not cause any complaints. The model has excellent maneuverability, the wheels do not slip either in sand or in mud. It also performs well on asphalt surfaces. The engine power is quite enough to drag a passenger as well. The dynamics are impressive; at speed it moves confidently and clearly. When driving in the city, the ATV attracted a lot of attention from passers-by, as it stands out for its bright and impressive appearance. The instrument panel is made very beautifully, moreover, it is very informative. He also has no problems with the brakes. Overall, very pleased with the purchase.
- Two years ago my family and I built a house near Nizhny Novgorod. Near the house there is a forest and a river. The closest store is 5 kilometers from home, which causes some difficulties. For variety, as well as for convenience, I decided to purchase this ATV. As practice has shown, the model is very playful and passable. The engine is very torquey and allows you to drive almost anywhere. I would also like to note its cost-effectiveness. Sometimes we fill a full tank only once a week, sometimes a little less often, but it all depends on the intensity of use. Its maximum speed is 60 kilometers per hour. At first glance, this is not so much, however, in reality it is quite enough, since you can directly feel this speed on an ATV. Everything was done very high quality and during the entire period of operation no defects or malfunctions were found.
- I was very pleased with the ATV with its driving characteristics. The power of the unit is quite enough to overcome various obstacles and difficult areas. Regardless of the coverage, AVM Apache 150 behaves very stable and predictable. Its fuel consumption is quite low, which is good news. Thanks to the presence of wide tires, the model has never let me down on sand and mud, because slippage occurs extremely rarely. The frame is made with high quality and is quite durable. And the ATV itself is quite durable; I have already checked this several times due to my own carelessness. The brakes work great at any speed. In my opinion, the Apache 150 ATV is quite an excellent recreational option for its price.
Other options
Other parameters include secondary qualities of the ATV or those that cannot be classified into one large group:
- The fuel tank volume is 7.5 liters;
- the weight of the entire Apache 150 ATV is 137 kg;
- it can be accelerated to a maximum of 65 km/h;
- maximum load capacity – 280 kg;
- number of seats – 1.5;
- at a speed of 20 km/h, the ATV will consume almost 4 liters of fuel for every 100 km.
As you can see, according to these parameters, the ATV also belongs to the average ATV. This also confirms other technical characteristics.

Apache 150 ATV – why pay less?
The Apache 150 ATV appeared on the market not long ago and can be purchased for 100,000 rubles. The offer seems very tempting due to the price category.
Characteristics of the Apache 150 ATV
The Apache 150 ATV has an engine capacity of 149 cubic meters, which produces as much as 9 horsepower. A CVT transmission works together with a four-stroke gasoline engine. The drive to the wheels is carried out via a chain transmission. The ATV is a two-seater, and therefore has a length of 2 meters. The width is 1 meter and the height is 1.3 meters. Disc brakes are installed on the front and rear wheels. The speed that this quad can reach is 60 km/h. The basic equipment includes a luggage compartment (front and rear), counters on the steering wheel, and turn signals.
Winter version of the Apache 150 ATV
Compared to machines of the same class from foreign manufacturers, the Apache 150 ATV has a great price advantage, and it is no worse equipped and equipped. However, such a four-wheeler can be more likely attributed to the teenage look. For an adult, its low power of 9 horses and the transported weight for two people with luggage of 150 kg are unlikely to be enough.
Model range and approximate cost
The AVM company released not just one Apache model, but as many as 7 models, not counting the Apache 150.
They all have the same prefix Apache, but differ mainly in numbers:
- AVM Apache 200;
- ABM Apache 400;
- Apache 150 basic;
- Apache basic 150cc;
- Apache Track 180cc;
- Apache Track 250 snowmobile;
- Apache 300.
Each model differs in price, characteristics, components and much more. However, the Apache 150 model is the main one, so most of the models in the above range are somewhat similar to the main model.
Each model differs in price and characteristics
AVM Apache 200 cc
The AVM Apache 200 ATV costs on average about 150 thousand rubles, provided that it has just rolled off the production line. If we talk about buying an ATV secondhand, its price is about 80 thousand rubles. Apache 200 is available in several color schemes. Blue and black colors are especially common.
ABM Apache 400 ATV
The AVM Apache 400 ATV is much more powerful than its counterpart, the Apache 150. For example, the first one can accelerate to 85 km/h. In other respects, the ABM Apache 400 ATV is also more powerful than most of its analogues. However, its price is appropriate. So, on average it costs about 290 thousand rubles.
Apache 150 basic quad bike
The Apache 150 basic ATV costs a little lower than its brother, the Apache 150, and has good reviews. This is due to the fact that this model is equipped somewhat worse, and is inferior in power. Because of this, the price of this ATV is about 115 thousand rubles.
AVM Apache basic 150cc
The AVM Apache basic 150cc ATV is extremely similar to the previous model. Their difference is not very significant. Thus, the cost of an abm apache 150cc quad bike is about 120 thousand rubles.
APACHE TRACK 180 cc
This device can be either an ATV or a snowmobile. This allows it to be used all year round. A very good model for outdoor enthusiasts. And the price is not very high. An ABM Apache 180 ATV costs approximately 160 thousand rubles on the Russian market.
Snowmobile Apache Track 250
The Apache Track 250 ATV-snowmobile is a more powerful unit than the previous model. One of the main advantages is the quick transformation from an ATV to a snowmobile and vice versa. However, the price has not increased much. So, it can be purchased for 180 thousand rubles.
Apache 300
The price of the AVM Apache 300 ATV varies the most on the market in Russia. For example, in one region you can buy it for 200 thousand rubles, and in another, exactly the same motorcycle equipment for 260 thousand rubles.
Price
The average cost of an AVM Apache 150 ATV with zero mileage currently ranges from 90 thousand rubles to 120 thousand Russian rubles. The final price tag of the model takes into account factors such as the year of production and additional equipment, if any are included in the package.
Among used models in the most optimal technical condition, the price of an ATV ranges from 60 thousand rubles to 75 thousand Russian rubles. The cost is traditionally influenced by the year of production, mileage, as well as technical condition.
It should be noted that you can often find a used model on the market in almost new technical condition, and at the same time the cost will be more affordable than purchasing from official dealers.
Competitors and analogues
If we talk about analogues and competitors of AVM Apache ATVs, then there are enough of them, but they are all inferior to the technical characteristics of the original Apache.
For example, competitors of Apache 400 may be:
- CFMOTO U8W EPS;
- Godzilla Utility 150;
- Yamaha RHINO 700.
Competitors that are similar to Apache 300:
- CFMOTO X4;
- Wels Thunder 200;
- Honda TRX 350.
Review of TVS Apache 150. A story about a moped from Bollywood!
Video text
One day my friend Igor said: “Yurt!” Take my motorcycle for review. He’s so cool) But I remembered that he was this same moped, I didn’t even like him very much! Seemed like some kind of Ketai shit, etc. Stalled, farted, didn’t drive, and the like!
To which Igoryan said, “Don’t piss, Yurok!” I washed the carb on it over the winter, repaired it, and changed the diaphragm on it. And now APCHHI (that’s what Igoryan lovingly calls his motorcycle) drove off angrily)))) Well, what about me, I’m ready to check it out! Which is what I did, showing up to him early one morning!
And off we go! Or rather, I went) On this cool red motorcycle. The first impression of him was SURPRISE! Well, it’s real) There is acceleration, the brakes work as they should and do not creak)))) The only thing that spoiled the picture was the steering bearing - the steering wheel jammed in the middle and in the extreme positions - ABSOLUTELY HARD.
I drove the motorcycle in different modes both in the city on asphalt and on dirt roads. Curbs, stone, sand and other delights. Very cool feeling. Motik did not pass anywhere! Climbed steep climbs, jumped off curbs and fell on the BACK)))
