Driving characteristics of the summer version of Apache Track 200 cc
Driving characteristics of the summer version of Apache Track 200 cc
When an ATV of this model is equipped with conventional wheels, it has average performance for equipment of this class. The device is quite playful, easily picks up speed and holds itself stably in turns and on obstacles.
Rubber-running 199 cc engine. cm allows this device to accelerate to 65 km/h, which is a very decent indicator for this class. The same engine is capable of producing 16 horsepower, which does not prevent it from being quite economical. In the summer version, the device consumes only 3.8 liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers. With a tank volume of 5.5 liters, this figure allows it to be used for quite a long time without refueling.
Winter version of Apache Track 200cc and its features
Winter version of the Apache Track 200cc ATV snowmobile
When the vehicle is equipped with caterpillar tracks and skis, its speed and efficiency are relatively reduced, however, cross-country ability increases. This becomes especially true when moving through very deep and loose snow, where it can fully compete in cross-country ability with conventional snowmobiles.
In winter configuration, the device is capable of moving through snow at a speed of only 35 km/h, which is a pretty good indicator for snowy areas. Fuel consumption can reach up to 10 liters per 100 kilometers traveled. And even with this consumption, the device can be considered economical, because the tank volume is enough to travel in the snow over a distance of 60 kilometers.
Features of the Apache Track 200 cc configuration
Equipment for the Apache Track 200cc ATV snowmobile
As for the configuration and additional equipment of this model, some small but useful details deserve attention. This should include a cigarette lighter, which allows the use of various lighting and heating devices. There is also a reliable towing device, which in winter allows you to pull a sled with a load of up to 200 kilograms.
Finally, it should be noted that, despite its versatility and decent equipment, the Apache Track 200cc ATV snowmobile is relatively inexpensive. This allows it to successfully compete with other models that do not have such versatility.
Competitors and analogues
Considering the characteristics and features of the unit, it can be confidently distinguished from its competitors. A powerful and reliable car accelerates quickly and maneuvers well. Apache surpasses its main competitor CFMOTO CF500 in speed and controllability. Thanks to the presence of luggage racks, you can take all the necessary items with you (most ATVs from other brands do not have this option). The model is equipped with a reinforced frame, off-road tires, and a durable chain.
Advantages:
- CVT with rear-type transmission.
- Reliable disc brakes.
- Off-road tires.
- Electric starter, which allows mechanical starting of the engine.
- Electronic speedometer.
- Alloy wheels.
- Comfortable passenger backrest.
- Several color options.
Appearance of the Apache Track 200cc ATV snowmobile
Design of the Apache Track 200cc ATV snowmobile
When equipped for the summer, this all-terrain vehicle does not stand out much from most utilitarian ATVs. Quite an impressive powerful appearance, strict and practical optics, luggage racks and other little things that are equipped with almost every device of this type.
With the onset of winter, the appearance of the device changes significantly. When track tracks and snowmobile skids are installed on it, a completely ordinary ATV takes on a completely different look.
In addition to its appearance, this model, depending on the period of operation, also changes its driving characteristics, since the design on wheels and on tracks significantly affects its weight and other features.
Price
The ABM Apache200 ATV with zero mileage can currently be purchased at a cost ranging from 140 thousand rubles to 165 thousand Russian rubles. Various equipment may be included in the equipment package, but it is worth noting that their availability may affect the final cost. This ATV is offered to the consumer in several colors, namely blue, red, yellow and black.
A used car is often in the price range from 70 thousand rubles to 110 thousand Russian rubles. The main factors influencing the cost of an all-terrain vehicle in this case are the year of manufacture, mileage, and technical condition.
APACHE BACKCOUNTRY TRACK SYSTEM
Driving in deep snow and difficult conditions of winter operation of the equipment sometimes required the installation of bulky track systems on the ATV. 's all-new Apache Backcountry will forever change the boundaries of what's possible for those battling harsh winter weather or plowing their way through deep snow.
– Increased controllability
The Apache Backcountry Track Kit combines snowmobile-inspired technology with the same high-quality performance that is familiar to Apache 360 systems, resulting in high ground clearance, minimal snow-to-snow pressure, and unsurpassed deep snow capability.
– Advanced technical solutions
These tracks are designed for aggressive use and are equipped with 5 cm high lugs for excellent flotation. Add to that the industry's largest contact surface area provided by the 34 cm wide front and 35.5 cm wide rear tracks, and you can see how the Apache Backcountry system provides minimal snow surface pressure and virtually constant traction even in deep snow.
– Unique performance characteristics
Uniform distribution of the load on the surface is ensured through the use of a lightweight, durable frame and specially shaped guides in the design. Due to this, excellent traction, acceleration and controllability are achieved. Increased control when turning, braking or traversing slopes will allow Can-Am ATV owners to climb higher on slopes or get into deeper snow - in short, veering off the beaten path during winter trips.
– Easy to install
The Apache Backcountry Track System turns everyday life into thrilling adventures with its advanced design and unique performance characteristics. What's more, the easy installation and ability to quickly swap tracks for wheels will allow owners to easily decide where to go next time without having to worry about the time-consuming installation of a track kit on their ATV. You should spend more time looking for winter adventures, not service!
To install this track system, you will need a special Apache 360 Backcountry installation kit (purchased separately). The track kit is intended for winter use only.
Reviews
- I purchased the ABM Apache 200 ATV because of its low cost. The model, in my opinion, is quite successful. The ATV is not demanding in terms of maintenance, quite economical, easy to control and comfortable. The plastic elements of the body look flimsy, but in reality they are not at all. The plastic here is shock-resistant, which I checked while driving through a forested area. Although the luggage platform is not designed to carry large loads, it is quite enough for the things needed on the road. In my free time from work, I often ride an ATV for fishing and sometimes hunting. It does not bury itself in the snow, especially if you install skis and chains. The cross-country ability on dirt is also impressive; swampy areas are easy to navigate, as are water areas. In principle, for the money it’s a pretty excellent device.
- Recently moved to another region. We have a lot of forests here, but driving through them all on a bicycle is very difficult. In this regard, I thought about buying some inexpensive and passable all-terrain vehicle. I accidentally came across the ABM Apache 200 model and, after looking at all the technical specifications, I realized that the equipment was ideal for my requirements. I bought it in the city for 140 thousand rubles and after checking the equipment, on the very first day I set out to conquer the local beauty. The ATV may be Chinese, but its quality is quite high. Reliability is also beyond any doubt. The car can go almost everywhere, and thanks to its relatively small mass, in some cases it can be pushed out on its own. Maintenance is not particularly expensive; the machine generally requires topping up working fluids and less often replacing them.
- The ATV has many flaws, although for such a price tag this is quite normal. The first malfunctions during the run-in were problems with electrical wiring. At first the headlights worked normally when driving, but then they began to blink when the gas was added. The battery is fully charged, nothing unnecessary is connected, but this problem often appears. The brake lights do not work correctly, namely, they will light up once, but not again the second time. I checked the contacts, it turned out that they were very poorly connected. I fixed it and now everything is normal. The plastic began to crack in the cold, which is why we had to partially abandon winter use. But besides the shortcomings, the model still has its advantages. I liked the maneuverability and power in it, it’s very playful, especially when cornering. The controls are not satisfactory; everything is quite simple and convenient. Cross-country ability is acceptable and even higher than that of some analogues.
