Despite its length, the motorcycle was made “narrow” - only 0.73 m. The height of the seat is 0.7 m, with a total of 1.17 m. In full body kit, the weight of the bike is 194 kg, which is not so for a cruiser a lot of.
The engineers tried to make their model comfortable - two riders can sit on the “iron horse” from China at the same time.
Travel comfort will be ensured by a dual gas tank designed for 13.5 liters of fuel.
The “internals” of the Lifan LF 400 were also pleasantly pleasing. The engineers stuck a 2V68FMQ 2-cylinder V-engine into the bike, which was placed along the frame, within the base part.
The engine volume of the motorcycle is almost 400 cm3 (399 cm3 - just rounded), which, with an air cooling system, a contactless ignition system, an electric fuel pump and two carburetors, looks very impressive and inspires respect.
The engine power stated in the model passport is 30 “horses”, which can be developed at 8000 rpm. In the same block with the engine, the developers installed a 5-speed manual transmission .
The multi-disc clutch operates in a special oil bath, which extends its service life.
Despite the fact that the Lifan LF 400 does not have high speed performance and cannot boast of a quick start, it reaches its 140 km/h quickly and without problems. Fuel consumption per hundred is 3.5 liters.
As for the suspension, the authors of the project relied on the classics - a telescopic fork was located in front.
At the back, engineers installed a pendulum structure equipped with two spring shock absorbers.
The braking system is convenient - discs are located on the rear wheels and are operated by a foot drive.
The declared cost of the new motorcycle is within 170 thousand rubles. But don’t rush into buying this cruiser - a good analogue has appeared at the ZiD plant, which is offered at a lower cost, 125 thousand rubles.

It has a higher seat position, higher ground clearance, longer suspension travel and heated control grips as standard. The tank holds 24.2 liters instead of the previous 18.8 liters of gasoline.
Additionally, Honda is offering a luxury tourer that is 50 kilograms lighter than the previous Goldwing. The changes made during the work can be called profound: the model has changed visually and technically by 2021. The 126-horsepower six-cylinder engine should easily cope with the Goldwing’s 383 kilograms of maximum “live weight.”
The motocross theme was also developed by Honda in the new year. The CRF 250R received a 5 percent increase in power and a reduction in weight.
