And you won't believe it, but I found such a motorcycle! What kind of unknown animal is this, a pepelats with the complex name Motoland WRX250 Lite WFA? This motorcycle, as you remember, I took as a temporary replacement for the GR7 2T, but to my surprise, this red and white horse turned out to be not so bad, considering the cost of only 150 thousand rubles. But let's take things in order.

Judging by the reviews, the Motoland XR 250 is not the best option for long-distance travel. The small fuel tank (only 6 liters) and too high seating position make this motorcycle not the most convenient vehicle for long-distance travel, since not everyone will agree to push the bike to the nearest gas station.
Considering the engine capacity of the Motoland XR 250 (250 cc in total), the motorcycle’s fuel consumption is very low. In addition, this model of motorized transport is not designed for heavy loads: the maximum weight that it can withstand is one hundred kilograms, and this includes the driver himself in equipment. Accordingly, the items necessary for a long trip (sleeping bag, tent and other equipment) will no longer fit.
You can rent a Motoland XR 250 bike if you plan to travel by car. Cross-country motorcycles are lightweight (only 120 kg), which will not overload the car. Moreover, they fit in the back seat or trunk if you first remove the front wheel. On such a trip you can take whatever you want and ride on any available trails.

Of course, this is a compromise motorcycle, because in order to fit into the budget, the manufacturer had to save on some components. The suspension here is FastAce Force with all adjustments, although not the top one, like on the best representatives of Chinese enduro. The pen diameter is 43 mm and the working stroke is 270 mm. There is an opinion that FastAce suspensions are overly stiff, due to the fact that their roots go back to cross-country. This is wrong. Or rather, not quite like that. As far as I know, the fork is a copy of a rather ancient Showa, and the rear shock absorber is, accordingly, licked from WP. The fork is still quite stiff, although it swallows small bumps without hitting your hands. No penetrations were observed. But the food, under my weight, bounces like an over-inflated ball. The fact is that from the factory the spring is set at 350lbs, which is a lot for my weight of 72 kg, even with completely relaxed preload. Exit, replacing the spring with a stiffness of 250lbs. This cannot be called a drawback, rather a feature of the setup. It’s funny, but most stock manufacturers usually install springs for a rider’s weight of 70-80 kg, but not on this motorcycle.
Geometry and frame
The frame geometry and ergonomics are quite sane and modern. Due to the fact that the fork angle on the WRX is smaller than on the same GR7, it steers noticeably sharper. This is especially felt in the forest, when you need to maneuver between the trees. The other side of the coin is worse stability at high speeds. But here it’s either one or the other. But I like the high maneuverability. And oh yes, despite the liquid cooling and, accordingly, radiators, the steering angle on this motorcycle is simply gorgeous! Sometimes I missed a good turn-out on the GR7, and on the Suzuki TS200R too. The frame on the motorcycle is half-duplex steel, with a steel subframe. Welded reliably, but not at all beautiful. If on one of the best Chinese enduro GR7, the seams are made by a robot and therefore perfect, then everything is clumsy. But as they say, this does not affect the speed. By the way, in the video about the purchase and assembly of this moped, I already said that in order to remove the air filter, you need to saw off the battery bracket. The Chinese are so Chinese.
Wheels, traverses and steering wheel
There are no complaints about aluminum wheel rims. After jumping on sharp stones, they completely retained their geometry, remained smooth and intact. The steering wheel is also aluminum, thick-walled. But objectively speaking, although he is not a terrible piece of shit, I managed to bend him. Powerful cast crossmembers and anodized aluminum hubs, with a six-bolt star fastening, inspire confidence.

Brakes
If everything is generally good with the engine and suspension on the Motoland WRX250 Lite WFA motorcycle, then where did you save? And we saved money, first of all, on the brakes. The rear brakes either do not brake or are immediately blocked. No information content. And the fact that the brake foot was installed under the footrest once again proves that the manufacturer understands little about off-road motorcycles. Not only does it reduce ground clearance, but the brake also jams when grass and branches get between the foot and the frame. As for the front brakes, they are weak and ineffective. In order to go down a steep slope, you need to press the brake with all your fingers. Thank you, at least they are not blocked. I hope replacing the brake caliper with a Brembo copy will help the situation at least a little.
Repair and tuning
There are no problems finding everything you need, and anyone can learn to understand the design of a motorcycle on their own. If you don’t have the time or desire to do everything yourself, any motorcycle service center can help you. All budget Chinese motorcycles are more or less similar from a design point of view, and in this case this is a significant plus.
Repair
Breakdowns sometimes happen, but they are minor. Owner reviews mention unreliable standard throttle and clutch cables, which it is advisable to replace with higher quality analogues. In any case, thanks to its simple design, you can always repair a motorcycle on your own, even if you do not have much experience in motor repairs.
Spare parts
Many spare parts are suitable from other Chinese motorcycles. Motorcycle manufacturers from China often use the same components, copied from each other, and this makes it easier to find the necessary parts. But dealers usually have them in stock, and they are inexpensive.
Tuning
Apparently, no one has yet done deep tuning of this model. The Motoland XR 250 Enduro motorcycle is already quite good, so there is little point in improving it, especially since investing in a budget bike cannot be called practical. But Aliexpress has a lot of little things, like hand protection, improved light optics, covers for exhaust systems, and so on.
Is it worth taking and is this the best Chinese enduro for the money?
As already mentioned, the Motoland WRX250 Lite WFA motorcycle is made of compromise solutions. On one side of the scale, it has an excellent, albeit rather heavy engine, and a good suspension. Good rims, hubs, crossbars and steering wheels are also definitely a plus. But on the other side of the scale, there are frankly bad brakes and strange savings on some small things. For me, it would be better if they saved money on the dashboard, but installed anti-skids and normal brake pads and gearbox. But in general, all this is of course completed, without any problems. If desired, this motorcycle can be brought to an even chic state by replacing the brakes, installing a NIBBI RACING carburetor with a 34 mm diffuser, changing the rear suspension springs to a spring of the required stiffness. And of course, replacing all the shitty components with normal ones. And then, although this pepelats will rise in price, it will sparkle with new colors. It will enter the top Chinese league, but at the same time, it will still be cheaper than any of its competitors with 177MM engines. What do you think about this motorcycle, because 155,000 rubles for an almost top-end motorcycle and the best Chinese enduro in this price category is a very decent price. Is not it?
