Russia is now full of motorcycles from various Chinese manufacturers, but the Lifan brand has long proven itself well. This company, founded in 1992, produces both motorcycles and cars, but, unlike most other Chinese concerns, it started with the production of two-wheeled vehicles. For more than a quarter of a century, Lifan engineers have learned to create really good bikes that are definitely worth the money.

Lifan motorcycles have been supplied to Russia and other CIS countries for more than ten years, and even before the appearance of motorcycle equipment at official dealers, small private motorcycle dealerships began actively selling them. At the same time, Lifan does not supply all the models that the company produces to the CIS, since China remains the concern’s main sales market. Lifan engineers went through all stages of motorcycle design, starting, like most other Chinese companies, by copying successful Japanese models of bygone years. This was a good step, since the models turned out to be really quite good. But now Lifan motorcycles are being developed in the bowels of this company from scratch, and progress, it should be noted, is obvious.

At the same time, some components of Lifan motorcycles purchased by the company from third-party Chinese or Japanese manufacturers are compatible with models of other motorcycle manufacturers from China. This is a significant advantage, since spare parts and tuning for bikes of this brand are easy to find due to this circumstance.
