ATV Suzuki KingQuad 750 AXi EPS
Suzuki KingQuad vs Yamaha Grizzly
Suzuki has redesigned the KingQuad 750 ATV for 2021. The ATV company has been incredibly quiet over the past 10 years, doing nothing to freshen up their ATV lineup.
However, Suzuki has sold a lot of equipment and has quite a loyal following of its brand. In this regard, the question arises - how does the Suzuki KingQuad 750 AXi EPS compare with other quads? The newest single cylinder ATV is the Yamaha Grizzly. Does the new Suzuki KingQuad 750 AXi EPS have enough capabilities to compete with the bear? Let's look at the numbers and compare.

improved suspension 2019 Suzuki KingQuad 750
Suzuki has redesigned the 2021 KingQuad 750 AXi ATV, making it stiffer and addressing several weak points. Most noticeably, Suzuki made changes to improve the steering geometry, towing, and suspension in general. The Suzuki can now tow up to 600kg with ease. The redesigned suspension makes the King Quad more stable. The shock absorbers are larger in diameter, have five-position pre-compression adjustment and are now gas-charged. Suzuki also redesigned the steering geometry to improve maneuverability, improve feedback and reduce the ATV's turning radius. Thankfully it retains a similar design to the old model as they have always been quite stylish. Suzuki also added a handlebar-mounted headlight and added an LED taillight.

Short story
The first model rolled off the assembly line in 2007 and has not undergone major changes for a long time. Only in 2009 did they begin to install power steering. This significantly increased the weight of the device. To achieve the same performance, engineers had to abandon the manual starter, install alloy wheels and modify the brake pedal bracket and battery, making them smaller.
Then it was time to work on the seat, which received a T-shaped seat. It is now much more comfortable, allowing the driver to sit up straighter. The steering wheel, made with a certain slope, has become significantly higher, and control has become more comfortable and easier. Protective covers were installed to hide the gearbox breathers. Each element of protection began to be made of high-strength plastic, which is much lighter than metal. The only thing that remains unchanged is the head optics.

Evolution of the LT-80
The Z90 four-stroke engine is clearly an evolution of Suzuki's popular LT-80 two-stroke engine. It's quieter and emits fewer pollutants, but is it any better? We think so. The LT-80 was a great car. In terms of power, their engines are very close. When it comes to subsequent improvement, the cheap LT-80 two-stroke is even slightly ahead. We can also talk about the incredible reliability of the Z90 four-stroke engine for a very long time. In addition to meeting all modern emissions standards, the Z90 engine is extremely unpretentious. Based on our experience, as long as there is fuel in the tank and the air filter is not too clogged, the Z90 will not let its owner down. Its steel frame and swingarm are much stronger than the LT-80's aluminum clutch body and swingarm, which often broke under heavy riders. Overall, this is a great little car. Of course, it costs much more than its Chinese counterparts, but it has high-quality design and components. In addition, you can go to any Suzuki showroom and find all the spare parts needed for maintenance or repair. The Suzuki Quadport Z90 is a great investment in the future of your little ATV riders that will last your family for generations.
pros
- Reliable and durable 90 cm3 four-stroke engine
- Stable suspension suitable for beginners
- Easy to use throttle limiter
- Electric starter with optional recoil starter
- Simple continuously variable transmission
Minuses
- Shifting the parking brake before starting the car is a bit annoying
- Single A-arm front suspension limits further modification options
Advantages
- The first thing that is of interest and distinguishes the model from other classmates is the Suzuki engines, the technical characteristics of which are high, despite the specifics of their design. After all, to equip the ATV, a single-cylinder engine is used, which is uncharacteristic for power units of this volume. With this arrangement, Japanese engineers managed to obtain a fairly high output of 50 liters. s., power, significantly reducing the weight of the machine.
- The slightly elongated wheelbase, thanks to which the ATV became a “one-and-a-half”, made the vehicle exceptionally stable while driving over rough terrain. Even when jumping over obstacles, the rider does not experience serious discomfort. And although an adult passenger cannot be accommodated in the seat, there will certainly be room for a young traveler.
- Since the model has been in production for quite some time, each of its components has been tested not only at test sites, but also during real operation. This made the all-terrain vehicle truly reliable, and the changes made to its design during the production process only increased this quality. For example, you will not have to look for a new variator belt for a Suzuki ATV as often as for equipment from other manufacturers.
- For those who decide to purchase a Suzuki ATV, the price also looks quite attractive, since it is lower than the products of famous competitors.
