Marc Márquez took a convincing victory at the Jerez Grand Prix, while all his rivals (Andrea Dovizioso, Jorge Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa) fell.
At the start, Lorenzo surged ahead of Pedrosa, with Zarco ahead of Cal Crutchlow in fourth. It took Marquez a little time to join the leading group, as the Spaniard started from the second row.
On the third lap, Marc overtook his team-mate Dani Pedrosa and took second position behind Jorge Lorenzo. The Repsol Honda rider got a good look at his opponent's pace on the Ducati, while Crutchlow retired. On the ninth lap, Marquez overtook Lorenzo and took the lead, after which he set a high pace.
Dovizioso saw how his opponent was getting ahead, so he tried his best to catch up with Marc Marquez. On lap 18, Andrea decided to pass Lorenzo on the inner radius, but made a mistake on braking and pushed his teammate off the line, which gave Pedrosa an advantage. Lorenzo made an even bigger mistake when he tried to return to the inside radius. He literally crashed into Pedrosa and flew into his partner. All three left the race...

2021 GP3 Series Final Results
MotoGP 2021: Results of the Grand Prix Brno! (race video + 49 photos)
The Czech stage was quite calm and in good weather conditions, except that Maverick Viñalez went into the gravel on the first lap. The rest of the favorites looked good throughout the race, and the reigning champion's ardor was tamed by Ducati riders Jorge Lorenzo and Andrea Dovizioso, who took second and first places, with Marquez third.
Valentino Rossi made the wrong choice with the tires and, unlike most drivers who used a hard compound, installed a medium-hard tire on the face, as a result of which he lost pace in the middle of the race and finished fourth, although he could well have ended up on the podium.

The Moscow Raceway opened the season of the Russian Drift Series Grand Prix 2018 and immediately attracted a record turnout - 12,000 spectators filled the stands and this is a significant indicator of the rapid growth in the popularity of drifting in Russia. The geography of the championship is also expanding: Moscow, Ryazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Sochi, Krasnoyarsk and Vladivostok are ready to host the most progressive racing series in Russia.
At the first stage, pilots from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Latvia met and the surprise of the 2021 season was Daigo Saito, a drifting legend from Japan. We were pleasantly surprised by the new judging and scoring system. The organizers invited Canadian judge Ryan Lantenier , known for refereeing the American Formula Drift and last year's World Cup in Tokyo.
“I am very pleased with both the new judging system and our new judge Ryan,” comments RDS General Director Dmitry Dobrovolsky. — He is one of the most famous judges of American Formula Drift, a very professional and open person. He immediately prepared all the materials on the new system for us, showed and explained everything. This system is being introduced in America this year too. It is attractive because it allows for more accurate and more transparent judging than before. The main thing is that it is understandable to both pilots and spectators, because if the spectators do not understand what’s what, they will not watch, and the level of complaints about refereeing has also noticeably decreased.”
In addition, it is now prohibited to change tires inside a hit (hit-pair race). But this prohibition does not apply to cases where damage to the wheels occurred due to circumstances beyond the control of the pilot - for example, a collision due to someone else’s fault or a foreign object on the track. In the event of a car collision, the victim is automatically recognized as the winner if the damage to the car does not allow the race to continue.
According to the qualification results, 29 entered Top 32 . The winner of the qualification was Artur Melkumyan as part of his new team “ TOYO TIRES x GORILLA ENERGY” , immediately securing his place in the TOP-16.

Together with him, Arkady Tsaregradtsev (“Fail Crew ”) and Japanese pilot Daigo Saito made it the TOP-16 .
Bad weather made its own adjustments to the balance of power in the TOP-32 . The slippery, sometimes wet surface of the track made it difficult for the first 8 couples to travel. By the TOP 16, the weather had improved and a series of beautiful smoky passages were opened by current teammates Andrey Pesegov and Artur Melkumyan . The spectators in the stands rejoiced at the close pair drift and throughout the TOP-8 . At this stage, last year's champion Gocha Chivchyan (“Forward Auto” ), Ilya Fedorov (“Aimol EE team”) , Latvian Kristaps Blušs and others left the competition. The fight between the pilots became increasingly intense and in the semi-finals ddKaba (“EE Aimol Team”) and Evgeniy Losev (“Avtoprofi”) collided twice in one race: first on furidashi, and then after the changeover. After the collision, Evgeniy Losev’s car left the track on a manipulator.
The second pair of semi-finalists - Daigo Saito and Arkady Tsaregradtsev - competed for a ticket to the final through OMT. In the fight for third place, the Japanese drifter turned out to be more convincing.

Evgeniy Losev: “RDS Grand Prix is a ranking competition for me, the level is very high, top riders have arrived. I am pleased with the judging - it is very adequate, understandable and everything is clear, at least for me. When I ride number two, I already understand perfectly well who won and who lost. There are no questions. A very cool event, a lot of spectators, I am very pleased and my team worked at the same level. I can’t convey my emotions, there are a lot of them. Thank you everyone, I’m very happy.”
