MotoGP

Marc Marquez won his fifth MotoGP title.
The Spanish driver won the 2021 Motegi Grand Prix, taking his eighth victory of the season, while his main rival Andrea Dovizioso went lowside on the penultimate lap. Márquez, who started from the second row, spent most of the race following Andrea Dovizioso. Three laps before the finish, the Spaniard overtook the Italian and seized the initiative in the race. Andrea was not going to give up and hung on Mark's rear wheel. Unfortunately, the fight ended with the fall of the Ducati rider.

Marc Marquez finished with a comfortable 1.5 second lead over Cal Crutchlow, with Alex Rins on the Suzuki taking the final podium place.
