One day we got ready and went, I wanted a Yamaha BWS (100 cc) - so I couldn’t fit into it with my knees (I’m 187 in height), I watched SYM at Zenit and it seemed to fit under “50ik” - the “stolnik” mows very decently, but design... All my attempts to “tune” it led to nothing except timely maintenance. Plus I also bought something - a variator with lighter weights - but it didn’t fit (it turned out to be from a 157 engine) ... The search for “louder” pipes also didn’t lead to anything, either cook to order, or sit and wait. I just bought a clutch with harder springs - it actually began to accelerate more smoothly and the light bulbs were brighter - at night the native Chinese ones shone quite disgustingly. So in terms of “tyunya” it’s not the best option. Original. Self-sufficient. Later, in communication with the service director, I came to the conclusion that the “healthiest” tuning is from the factory. He is also the most durable. No, you can “break it” yourself and speed it up by 30 km/h, but it clearly won’t survive the next season without overhauling something. I followed the “donkey” carefully - each maintenance was carried out 500 km earlier, no expense was spared on consumables, and in the end it let me down once: the 2500 belt gave up its life. And the maintenance took place 500 km ago. This problem was quickly corrected and all the technical work was done free of charge (!!!), I only paid for a new belt.
I rode it not only around Moscow, but also in the nearest Moscow region - Ramenskoye, Dzerzhinsk, Bronnitsy. It holds the road confidently, but the wheels made themselves felt. Especially on Chinese folk tires. Therefore, on one of the wet days, having danced “Lambada” on the rear wheel, I promptly changed the tires to “Michelin” - and was very pleased.
I was lucky to fall twice: the first time - in a turn on the sand I squeezed the clutch (i.e. the rear brake), the second time I did not close the gas handle on the rubber band of the tram crossing. All without complications or complex injuries.
The police stopped him twice - the first time he stood on the side of the road and chatted on the phone, they pressed him, took the money and drove away, grabbers. The second time the motorized battalion stopped me, asked “if you were drunk” and let me go free of charge, content with my passport and a photoshopped payment slip. After which I began to respect them - they act fairly and are not particularly ferocious (although I have heard stories about throwing keys into the gas tank and or taking them out of the ignition on the go), with normal behavior they do not particularly find fault...
Over time, Moscow traffic became clear: brakes and neurotics behind the wheel of a paralyzed highway are capable of miracles, but they can be foreseen. Over time, I began to travel to work from Avtozavodskaya to VDNH in 15-20 minutes without any problems at all. Time began to have a completely different shade than on the car. I began to appreciate freedom and a closer sense of the outdoors (nature).
Therefore, in conclusion, I will say - the Keeway Arn 150 will be a friend, it is capable of reaching 110 km/h (with a fresh belt), deftly climbing curbs, starting remotely from 150 meters, hitting the fifth point at every move, carrying a trunk full of junk, make your way through traffic jams more confidently than others, make sportsmen and choppers through traffic jams, surprise Basins (VAZ) with your agility.
