  1. We purchased the Lynx 125 Sport ATV two years ago from a neighbor. The quadric is very good, everyone liked it. The engine power is quite enough for a fairly dynamic ride. It consumes very little fuel; a full tank lasted almost the whole day. The equipment behaves normally on bumps, but if the bumps are large, the suspension still breaks. It is really very simple to operate and steers easily. It performed well on light off-road conditions and copes with many obstacles. We didn’t see any shortcomings, although perhaps they will make themselves felt later, but for now the quad brings only positive emotions.
  2. I bought it to learn driving. Although a larger ATV has already appeared, I still sometimes ride on this one. It will not cope with severe off-road conditions, I note right away, since in this case there is little power, and the chassis will not allow it. Stability in some situations is very poor and this is due to the short and narrow wheelbase, as well as the high center of gravity. Therefore, it is very dangerous to perform sharp maneuvers at high speed. With its fairly affordable price, the RM Lynx 125 Sport has good performance, and most importantly, it will bring a lot of driving pleasure.

Transporting any cargo in the aircraft cabin is not possible, however, behind the pilot and passenger seats there is a special luggage compartment that allows you to take on board up to 70-90 kilograms of luggage and various oversized items.

Competitors of the Lynx ATV

The reason for the popularity of the Lynx 500 model is its affordable price. The new device will cost approximately 300 thousand rubles, depending on the configuration. You can rent a used car for 160-230 thousand rubles. Considering the price-performance ratio, this is an excellent solution for working in the field or for leisure.

Of course, there were some competitors:

  • Cectek Gladiator 550 EFI T The machine of the Taiwanese company, released back in 2007, will become a real assistant in the household. The design of the device leaves much to be desired, but its maneuverability and power fully compensate for this shortcoming. However, the price of a Taiwanese ATV is steep; a new device will cost almost 500 thousand rubles.
  • Polaris Sportsman X2500 EFI. In terms of performance and reliability, the American leaves the Lynx 500 far behind. But a thoroughbred horse costs a little more. A used Sportsman will cost 280-340 thousand rubles.
  • Apache Tees the Lynx and the domestic Apache ATV, created by the ABM brand. Despite the lower power (26 hp), the model looks more attractive. The reason for the popularity of the Apache 400 is its reliable design and significant service life. The utility is relatively inexpensive, only 289 thousand rubles.

A serious blow to the popularity of the Lynx 500 was another vehicle - the RM 500 4x4. The updated version of the ATV, released back in 2011, is distinguished by greater power (40.5 hp) and the absence of design flaws. But the cost of the model is steep; the new RM 500 4×4 will cost as much as 410 thousand rubles.

Main competitors Lynx 110

Despite the low cost and attractive design of the Lynx 110 ATV, it has many opponents. There is especially strong competition within the series. Many buyers choose more powerful models, like the Lynx 150 or 125 ATV.

The Russian apparatus also competes with:

  • Armada 150C. The Taiwanese ATV differs from the brainchild of the RM company in its greater power, attractive design and increased load capacity. Armada is suitable for both teenagers and adults. But Lynx 110 can be used by a rider weighing no more than 60 kg. The only thing in which the Taiwanese is inferior to the domestic device is the price. Armada 150C costs 100 thousand rubles, and Lynx only 70 thousand rubles.
  • ABM Scorpion 125A. The Scorpio, developed by AVM, also became a serious opponent of the Russian Mechanics ATV. The sports vehicle is superior to the Lynx in power, reliability and maneuverability. It is worth noting the carrying capacity of the ABM brand machine. The Scorpion can withstand a load of 90 kg, which makes it more versatile. Buyers also noted the cost of the Scorpion 125A; the price of the car is only 75 thousand rubles.
  • Kayo Viper The Chinese company Kayo also made its mark, creating the Viper 125. This is also a sports ATV designed for teenagers. Technically, both cars are identical, only the price differs. The Chinese costs as much as 95 thousand rubles.

Don't forget about other Russian ATVs, for example: Stels ATV 110D, Avantis Mirage 8 125 and Lifan (ZID) LF110ST-3.
