Advantages and disadvantages of Polar Fox XY 500 ATV
The main and common shortcomings of vehicle owners include poor-quality assembly. When buying a new vehicle, you want to get behind the wheel and go on a trip through fields and swamps, but more than half of users note that this is fraught with consequences. If you do not thoroughly inspect the device, the electronics and sensors may fail. Poor placement of wires has become a common cause of winding burnout, which raises some doubts about the quality of the assembly.
But it’s also worth mentioning the advantages, and there are a lot of them for a model with such a price tag:

- Bottom protection. The presence of a shield, although not critical for this model, still saves some components from inevitable damage. I'm glad that underbody protection comes as standard and there is no need to pay extra for it.
- Tuning possibilities. In addition to the ability to replace parts with components from other models, the ATV can be significantly improved. The owners perform the following: replacing the body, enlarging the mudguards, placing rubber pads for the feet, replacing the seat, installing arch extensions, installing additional lights and shock absorbers. The model is simply created for tuning.
- Price. A huge number of shortcomings of the base model negatively affected the sales level of Polar Fox 500, and user reviews were divided. Undoubtedly, no one expected the quality of the German or Canadian auto industry for that kind of money. The low price tag undoubtedly eliminates many of the shortcomings and makes the model the best option for mass production.
Judging objectively, the model has no serious competitors in the sales market. In Russia it can only be compared with Stels and Polar Fox XY 500 ATV-2. The Stealth 500 is comparable in quality and engine capacity, but the Chinese still wins in terms of comfort and tuning capabilities. The second generation of Polar Fox is naturally better than the earlier models, but their price is almost twice as different. Is it worth paying attention to cost and sacrificing comfort, or taking the equally famous Stels 500? This is a purely subjective question.
