Chinese manufacturers have long learned to make high-quality and inexpensive devices. One of the most popular 200 cc ATVs from the Middle Kingdom is the Bashan BS 200S-3. The model is interesting for its sporty design and excellent cross-country ability.
Model features:
- Four-stroke engine with a volume of 200 cc. see. The manufacturer equipped the engine with air cooling.
- Electric starter.
- Manual Transmission.
- Reliable drum brakes.
- Durable steel frame that can withstand a load of 110 kg.
- The weight of the device is 150 kg. Low weight and dimensions make the BS 200S an ideal all-terrain vehicle for fishing and hunting. If the ATV gets stuck, the driver can independently pull it out of the mud.
- Fuel tank volume – 4 l. For 100 km, depending on the route and driving style, the car consumes 3.4-3.8 liters of gasoline.
But this Chinese ATV has several significant drawbacks: overpriced and minimal equipment. The car will cost approximately 120-140 thousand rubles. Considering that the device only has a speedometer, brake lights, electric start and LED lighting, the price is simply outrageous.
Best “liter” two-seater utility vehicle: CFMOTO CFORCE 1000 EPS
If the Grizzly mentioned above isn't enough, there's an option that's both cheaper and better performing: the two-seat CFORCE 1000 EPS (formerly X10 EPS).
Why exactly is it so good:

- two seats, the passenger seat has a backrest and handles, and can be removed to expand the rear luggage area;
- clearance of 30 cm;
- an electric winch with a force of 1588 kg (if necessary, this one can even pull a loaded ATV).
The basic package already includes EPS, hand protection and rear view mirrors. There are cargo areas at the front and rear (20 and 40 kg), and a tow bar.
What are the main differences between single and double models?
ATVs designed for solo travel have a simpler design and are often less functional. The main difference between the two-seater versions is, of course, the presence of a passenger seat in addition to the driver's seat. In technical terms, such models have better handling, increased stability and a thorough shock-absorbing system. This is dictated by the need to provide increased load capacity and minimize the risk of capsizing on sharp turns.
Best 700cc Utility: Yamaha Grizzly 700
The Grizzly line is a true legend among utility brands, which appeared back in 1998. By the way, if you compare the model of the last year of production and the very first Grizzly, it’s easy to notice the external similarity: the Japanese changed the design to a minimum.
Unlike most of its contemporaries, the Grizzly has a single-cylinder engine with a power of 49 hp. On the one hand, it is weaker than models with the same volume and with two cylinders, and it will be worse to ride in the mountains. On the other hand, it is more reliable, its simple design breaks less often, it costs less and pulls better at low speeds (and torque for a utility vehicle is one of the main parameters).
Another important characteristic is load capacity. For luggage, the Grizzly has front and rear platforms - 50 and 90 kg each - plus the ability to tow a trailer weighing up to 600 kg.
Otherwise, it is a mid-size single-seat ATV weighing 354 kg, with a ground clearance of 288 mm and 26-inch tires and EPS.
