1. I purchased a Baltmotors ATV 400 EFI ATV a week ago. Now the car is running in and everything is working properly. I like the appearance of this model, there’s something about it that really caught my attention. Although it looks minimalist, it is powerful, and its wheels especially clearly complement it. On the field, the car behaves well, bumpy areas go unnoticed, and large bumps are quite smooth. The ATV copes well with off-road conditions, does not get stuck and moves forward confidently. Acceleration from a standstill is quite brisk and fast. The engine and variator work flawlessly. I only changed the oil in the car. A full tank lasts for quite a long trip; personally, it took me half a day to use it up. In my city there are no problems with spare parts, since there is a special service center nearby. I'm happy with the ATV.
2. In 2021, I bought this ATV for rides. The power is impressive, at least for me it is more than enough. The motor runs well and starts quickly and first time. I even tried to run it at a temperature of -20, everything worked fine without dancing with a tambourine. Once there was a major breakdown; at a certain mileage, the front gearbox cracked. As for the quality of the plastic, yes, there are some doubts, but so far everything is intact. Over the entire period of use, I slowly modified the ATV with all sorts of little things, so to speak, customizing it to suit myself. Now I like absolutely everything about technology. I remember when I bought it, they told me that it was better to immediately unscrew the throttle limit screw, but run-in wisely. Simply because of this screw there may not be enough power, which is why the variator belt will slip, which is very harmful for it.
3. At the beginning of last year I acquired a Baltmotors ATV 400 EFI ATV. I purchased it along with a set of tracks. This model became my first acquaintance with such motorcycle equipment. The ATV brings a lot of positive impressions. I drove through the snow for several kilometers like this, but then installed the tracks. Installation takes not 40 minutes, as it might seem, but 2-3 hours. The traction of an ATV is just like that of a tank. Five of us rode, two were on an ATV and three more were on sleds from a snowstorm with things. It drives great everywhere and copes confidently in virgin lands. There were also some breakdowns. The gas tap regulator broke, and three boots on the drives were punctured. And everything is very good and working properly. It was tested on tracks and switched back to wheels only at the beginning of spring. In general, there are no complaints about the quality; as for me, the equipment is made to last.

“My passion for ATVs is hardly unexpected. It wasn’t like I woke up one day and discovered that it was time to buy an ATV. A large number of my friends and acquaintances were and are interested in two- and four-wheeled motor vehicles. It’s no wonder that after “drinking” in these conversations and having tried all the equipment of my friends, I gradually decided to buy myself an inexpensive ATV from a dealer in St. Petersburg. The budget was determined: 350,000 for a new ATV.

Frankly, before coming to the AlexMotors salon, I had already decided to buy a two-cylinder 800 cc ATV from another company, but I was embarrassed by the heavy weight of 386 kg! Even a powerful 63-horsepower engine could not offset this drawback.

Having already made the purchasing decision, I accidentally came across the Jumbo 700 slogan: “The best power/weight ratio in its class.” Having become interested, I went to Alexmotors to see the ATV “live”, and the next day I picked it up from the showroom.

At the time of writing my review, the ATV has already covered 678 km and I have something to tell the future owners of this ATV.

Why did I suddenly decide to buy Jumbo from Baltmotors? Perhaps the main argument was the characteristics and Taiwanese and Japanese components of the ATV, which a priori inspire more confidence than Chinese ones. And apparently, I wanted a “hotter” ATV.

Let's start with the first impression of the ATV. What I liked about the ATV is that it is designed rationally: plastic of the required quality and properties is selected, all elements of the ATV are designed and installed in such a way as not to interfere with each other’s work and provide access when servicing and repairing equipment, the digital dashboard is easy to read and display all the parameters necessary for the user. Even such an element as the selector knob is where it needs to be: accidentally touching it while moving with your hand or knee will not work, even if you really want to.

Now about the engine . During its operation, the Jumbo 700 power unit showed its best side. Everything that they write about it in magazines is really true: torquey, powerful enough for rides at the ZGI level. I can’t answer the question with certainty whether I need even more power or torque. The Jumbo 700 engine is more than enough for rides with deep immersion in “mud baths”, and for those who simply don’t need it - for recreation and household needs (the tow bar was very useful to me).

As for engine breakdowns: there were none. I read a lot about the carburetor intake pipe popping up, which seems to become loose and pops up due to vibration. This is treated by replacing the pipe with an imported analogue (tuning). While this has not happened, and I don’t think it will happen, I don’t see any reason to replace it, since the design copes.

Pendant . Many thanks to the designers here! Although the independent suspension on A-arms did not please the markings of famous brands, it does its job. Here it is necessary to clarify that when jumping from high parapets-springboards, the suspension still sometimes breaks through. so if you want to burn really, really hard, tuning catalogs are in your hands.

The suspension definitely responded to my inquiries about breakdowns and will NOT WAIT. You can only kill her on purpose.

Transmission . 3 modes 2WD/4WD/4WD LOCK - nothing to add. Works as intended. Sometimes I even catch myself thinking that this is a conspiracy by the Baltmotors team and they opened the Jumbo 700 ATV project, which simply does not break and that’s it.

Electrics . Here, for the most part, everything is reliable and waterproof, but still not completely sinless and there are a couple of nuances. Condensation forms in the headlight, which indicates that it is not completely sealed. If you spend a lot of time with water hazards, you may have a free pool in the headlight. Unpleasant of course, but far from fatal.

Personally, the left control panel failed me already at 30 km. The remote control showed no signs of life. Anyone who has encountered this knows what to do: check all the connectors that can be accessed by removing the hood. At the factory, sometimes 1 connector is not clicked, which then simply becomes disconnected due to shaking. Treatment - inserted it back until it clicked and forgot about it forever. I don't even consider this a minus. Fixed in 15 minutes.

I would like to praise the plant a little after I told you about the connector: the assembly was very decent and even a lot of work was done on the mistakes, when in the first batch it was discovered that the brake hoses at the front were irrationally routed along the lower suspension arm and at large angles of rotation there was a risk of them wear out soon. The factory corrected this on the next batch. My Baltmotors dealer in St. Petersburg gladly told me about this.

Many argue that spare parts for Asian and Baltmotors equipment are not available. I’ll say right away - they lie shamelessly. Just not being able to buy them is nonsense. Many parts are, of course, out of stock, but ordering spare parts for the Jumbo 700 from a dealer is not a problem at all. There’s a special word here: spare parts for the Jumbo 700 are a little more expensive than for competitors’ equipment. There are simply more imported components and parts - this is even a plus in my opinion. A little about additional equipment and tuning. What you will most likely buy right away in the showroom: aluminum protection for the bottom and levers (if you operate the ATV a little further from your “vegetable garden”) and a rear plastic case - solely for convenience (everything you need and can do without fits there). Factory tires are quite good, but sometimes you want to put something “nastier” on your Jumbo.

As for the rest, the ATV is designed so well that you will only need some serious changes in the design to operate the Jumbo in very extreme conditions.

Bottom line: the ATV evokes positive emotions most of the time. Of course, sometimes I want to add here, and remove a little here, and here it would be nice, but, as we all know, tuning is like renovating an apartment, it cannot be completed, it can only be stopped.”
