. From the very beginning, the model was equipped with electronic fuel injection. - Pendants
. Instead of a dual shock absorber at the rear, the YBR250 gets a more modern monoshock unit. - Wheels
. Compared to the YBR125, the YBR250 uses 17′ wider wheels. - Brakes
. The rear brake still remained drum, but the front brake disc was increased to 282 mm and received a 2-piston caliper. - Fuel tank
. Compared to the YBR125, it has increased to 19.2 liters, which is comparable to the volume of larger cubic capacity models.
2011 was the last year of production of the Yamaha YBR 250 for the European market, after which it became available in the Japanese market. Currently, the model is presented in sufficient quantities at Japanese auctions at an average price of $2,500.

Reviews about Yamaha YBR 250:

The YBR-250 is a great machine. I myself drove it a couple of times and owned the Honda equivalent (CBF-250) for a year. But in terms of aesthetics, engine, gearbox, I liked the Yamaha better. But it was more expensive than CBF. An excellent moto for beginners. Economical, easy to maintain. And also an excellent motorcycle for those who no longer need more adrenaline and just want a workhorse for all occasions. 120 handles perfectly, turns confidently, maximum speed is about 150. Uphill 2m also handles well. If you want a little more power and a more “fun” bike, then there is the VTR-250. Already 2 cylinders and 33 hp. + More Made in Japan. But dear infection.
Regarding the 250 cc: the car is very good, indeed, but for the kind of money they want for it, no one in Russia will ever buy it. It was officially imported to Ukraine and cost about $5,500. I told Tsoi that he bought one for himself. Now it is not officially sold in Ukraine either, it is very expensive and rarely bought.
in general, this is a completely different Yobr, completely different, more technically advanced.
Where to buy a Yamaha YBR 250 motorcycle and how much does it cost?
In Russia, buying a Yamaha YBR 250 is quite problematic. The difficulty lies not only in the high price of 5,000-6,000 thousand dollars for a new model, but also in the desire and technical capabilities of dealers to “drive” this motorcycle for you. There is no need to despair, but you will have to spend time searching and waiting a long time.
Buy used or a used YBR 250 in good condition is also not an easy task. We recommend using the following tips: try to constantly browse popular sites for selling motorcycles, register on forums for motorcyclists. A lot of useful information regarding the purchase and more can be found on the websites of Yamaha fan clubs.
Yamaha YBR 250 is a versatile Japanese motorcycle for daily trips. Ideal not only for beginners, but also for professionals. The main advantages are a powerful (for its class), lightweight, maneuverable, easy to operate, and most importantly, a reliable motorcycle.
Yubr250 motorcycle for those starting their motorcycle life. We can actually finish here. Maybe this comment will someday be read by a beginner who wants R1-6 or Strom Dl1000 :-), dedicated to him. Yubr250 is the motorcycle that will forgive you for your stupidity and desire to have a blast. I can already hear the readers and they are saying behind the monitors, but I’m not like that, I will be careful and will follow the rules exclusively. So this is nonsense. I’ll tell you, my dear friend, how in the second week of owning Yubr I almost tore him to pieces and only a miracle saved me. It was a simple matter, I was driving 50-60 in the city and before the turn I accelerated a little to overtake the car and started to slow down, it seemed to me that my brakes had failed, in a panic I started to slow down with all my might and pulled everything on the steering wheel and at the last moment I remember Keith Code’s video, where it says that wherever you look, you eat. I turn my gaze to the road and at the last moment I pull out from the curb, with a lot of troubles behind it, there was a fence and a lantern, it would have hurt me there. Now what happened? Everything is banal and simple, I didn’t squeeze the clutch and didn’t release the gas ( When I started to press the brakes in a panic, I didn’t return the throttle to the zero position, but left it open somewhere around 30% and thus the engine, despite my efforts to slow down, dragged me forward. In this situation, the most correct thing was to squeeze the clutch in order to remove the traction, slow down a little and turn away from the curb, which in fact, out of fear, I accidentally did. ). That is, I tried to brake with the gas open. Is it really bullshit? If I had been in sports, the brakes would not have stopped my stupidity, rest assured. The second case is also trivial, somewhere after a couple of months I thought that Yubr was a baby and you could control the throttle like an on/off button. So, in a turn, I opened the throttle at full speed and, as if in a drift, I entered the turn, after which the motorcycle leveled off and I continued on my way with bricks in my pants. In the first case, I stopped after the thrill. This sums up the theme of power. 21hp for starters, this is exactly as much as needed and not one pony more. I want to point out again that this motorcycle is also dangerous. Maintainability. I think it’s important to say that even if this motorcycle requires repair costs, they are relatively cheap and all the parts are available on the parts store. Control. This motorcycle is quite low-slung and for people above 185 it will not be very comfortable, even if you sit on it and it seems to you that everything is fine, this is probably due to little experience. Today, moving on Stroma, I understand what it means to sit comfortably on a horse. It should be noted that Yubr can 150% give you the basic skills of driving a motorcycle, this is how to corner, and what is the difference in braking distance between 100 km/h and 50. This motorcycle is really easy and pleasant to drive, especially in an urban environment. What I really miss from Yubiar on Stroma is agility in dense city traffic. Trips. Travel long distances on this motorcycle. Your longest trips will be 150 km, this is a tolerable limit. It won't be fun anymore. The problem is not even the cruising speed of 90 km/h, but the fact that at such a speed the vibrations will simply interfere and over time this defect will move from the category of “I don’t care, it can already rest.” Who doesn’t know yet, this is a single-barreled gun and vibration is its (the engine’s) strong point. Add. equipment. Everything can be ordered on Aliexpress, you just need to talk to the sellers so that they can put up the lots. How I did it. I found a product on TaoBao with this link, found a seller on Ali who sells accessories on Yubr and asked him if he could get this product for me. Thus, leg protection (arch bars) and a system for panniers were purchased. All together it came out to about 250 bucks. Motor resource. up to 60 thousand km with a normal ratio the engine runs exactly, then I sold it. There is a jamb in it with a throttle sensor, as they say, but nothing happened to me with it, and in general, for a year I only washed and lubricated it and sold it without problems.
If you asked me today, I would buy it again as my first motorcycle. I think it's more yes than no. Because I understand that it is really ideal for a beginner. And then everyone decides for themselves which class they like best.
Something like this.
Questions to the studio! in this post it will be appropriate to talk about Yubr. P.S. Photos of the pepelats, at the request of my comrades, and for the sake of history, so it would be. This is how I received it 1 2 This is how it was on a normal working day 1 Now I’m trying to find photos before selling

Distinctive features of the Fazer 250
Yamaha Fazer 250 is a road motorcycle of the same brand, YBR 250, known since 2005, which has undergone restyling. The differences are mainly cosmetic in nature and relate to optical elements and plastic parts. The models are so close to each other that they often appear on the market under the same name, so it is not always possible to accurately determine their actual model range.
The bike seems unassuming at first. But upon closer examination of the Yamaha Fazer, the following design features can be identified:
- rounded plastic elements in the area of the cylinder and rear of the motorcycle;
- tapered waist ergonomic driver's seat;
- a convex headlight that blends harmoniously into the dashboard;
- the “can” of the exhaust system hung with overlays on the right side of the motorcycle;
- transparent triangle-shaped brake light.
Characterized by the following features:
- The 2-valve engine reaches speeds of up to 140 km/h;
- equipped with a forged piston, a cylinder with a low-friction coating, 1 camshaft and 2 valves;
- the cylinder is cooled due to air flows generated during movement, and the oil is also cooled using a small radiator;
- the 8000 rpm engine is designed to produce 21 horsepower - its main advantage is “indestructibility” even under extremely difficult operating conditions and for the toughest drivers;
- the tank is designed for 19 liters;
- service interval - 5000 km;
- lightweight but durable aluminum alloy wheels improve handling;
- the ground clearance of the Fazer 250 allows you to move on various surfaces;
- dynamic appearance;
- fuel consumption – 3l/100 km.
The Yamaha Fazer 250 is suitable for bikers with an A1 category license. It can also satisfy the needs of movement in the city or provide off-road capability. Dealers offer Yamaha motorcycles at affordable prices.
