Kawasaki ZX9R
All Kawasaki fans will probably think of the ZX9R. We've been interested in the model since 2000 because that's when the new look of the model was introduced, which even today looks pretty good. The engine produces 143 hp, which is enough for a weight of 185 kg to propel it to 270 km/h.
Of course, the Kawasaki offers pretty good comfort for a sportsbike - not just the thought of passengers, but also the presence of handles. However, let's not confuse it with a quiet motorcycle. This is a very aggressive bike, and it shows it every time the rev counter goes over 7,000 rpm. Kawasaki justifies the price and good workmanship.
Specifications
Although this particular model is not so popular among motorcycle racers, those who are familiar with it say that this enduro is clearly underrated. However, you shouldn’t expect anything super-powerful from him either.
The main technical parameters of Racer Enduro 150 are as follows:
Engine | 4 bars, Racer |
Engine capacity | 148 cu. cm |
Power | 10.2 horsepower |
Maximum overclocking | up to 95 km/h |
Gas tank volume | 5 liters |
Gasoline consumption per 100 km | 2.2 liters |
Battery | 12 V, 6.5 Ah |
Motorcycle weight | 99 kg |
Motorcycle length | 189 cm |
Width | 79 cm |
The motorcycle is equipped with a Japanese-made carburetor. Control is carried out by a five-speed manual gearbox. The device starts in two ways: with a claw or with an electric starter.
The engine is weak even for enduro, but some owners of the motorcycle managed to accelerate it to 120 km/h. Anyone who wants to buy a powerful motorcycle for a small amount of money can upgrade the Enduro 150 by equipping it with a stronger engine.
The instrument panel is electromechanical and contains the following information:
- revolution table;
- tank volume indicator;
- speed sensor;
- current gear and rpm.
This panel is convenient for long journeys. At the same time, you can ride either light or with a motorcycle loaded up to 140 kg. The trip is only possible for one person.
The front suspension is telescopic, and the rear shock absorber is hydraulic.
The exterior design of the Racer Enduro 150 is made in the harsh style of the Land of the Rising Sun. The main body colors are green, orange, gray and brown. The lightness and maneuverability of the motorcycle is evidenced by its appearance: the steering wheel is low, the wheels are spoked with deep tread, allowing you to easily drive over bumps and holes without losing control of the motorcycle. Tires for the Racer Enduro 150 are sourced from Taiwan.
When traveling long distances, you can hang additional trunks and boxes. For this purpose, additional fastenings are provided. There is a small luggage compartment under the seat.
Triumph Daytona 955i
Did you expect this bike? Triumph also tried its hand at liter motorcycles. The big Daytona was a revolutionary motorcycle, powered by a strong three-cylinder engine with 147 horsepower. Her weight is 188 kg. She has a good braking system. Yes, all this speaks in favor of Daytona.
The Daytona 955i, like its younger sister, is not very popular in our country, but their prices are encouraging.
Bonus: Aprilia RSV1000 Mille
In addition to the British on our list, we will also find Italian motorcycles, and among them is the RSV1000 from Aprili. Like the Triumph, it is not a motorcycle that is very popular in our country and the engine also adds to the exoticism. Under the fairing there is a sporty V2 that uses 128 hp. and 101 Nm for acceleration.
It sounds nice, looks exotic, has excellent suspension and braking systems. Plus it's inexpensive. It only has two drawbacks: electronics and access to spare parts.
The RSV1000 loves to be capricious, like a true Italian, and every attempt to start the bike is a lottery-like experience. The problems, however, are not in the engine and electronics. He just lives his life. The problem can also be caused by the unavailability of spare parts for this motorcycle in our market and downloading them from the dealership is a very expensive endeavor.
Scooter 80cc
How to buy an 80cc scooter at a good price is a question that more and more residents of modern megacities are interested in. This type of transport appeared in the middle of the last century and was a cheap but practical means of transportation. Today, the scooter has become a highly technical machine, with numerous innovations and multifunctionality. It retained its primary function of delivering a passenger or small cargo at minimal cost, but turned into a very expensive toy for a certain category of people, especially young people.
Before you figure out how much an 80cc scooter costs, you should find out the country of origin and the name of the manufacturer. The range of these two-wheeled vehicles, ideal for moving in the congested traffic flows of modern cities, is increasing every year. The number of scooters is growing in proportion to the size and number of traffic jams on transport arteries around the world.
In Russia, the scooter has displaced mopeds, which were so popular during the USSR period, from the market and is widely used both as a means of transportation and for the delivery of goods, as well as for the rapid provision of various types of services to clients by commercial or government agencies. Selecting personnel for such work is not a difficult matter, and the question of whether a license is needed for an 80cc scooter has been irrelevant since 2013. It is enough to have a special, M category license. Although, if you have documents of a higher category, there is no need for them.
Despite the practicality of scooters, the issue of choosing models takes on particular relevance in the context of difficult economic realities. Having heard flattering reviews about Chinese 80cc scooters, many prefer them to more expensive foreign counterparts. New scooters produced in China not only compare favorably with competitors in price, but are also unpretentious in operation. This can explain the sharp increase in their popularity both among young people and small entrepreneurs throughout Russia.
Yamaha R1
Beautiful, strong and extremely sporty – the first generation of the Yamaha R1 has become an integral part of automotive history. Even people who are not interested in motorcycles know this model. It was stunningly beautiful when it debuted, and even today, many years later, anyone who sees these motorcycles knows that they are dealing with a sports car.
150 hp - exactly so many liters. With. pushes the Yamaha forward. There is little turnover at the bottom, nothing at all. There is a clear lack of strength.
While there are indeed a lot of advertisements for used R1s, finding a neat motorcycle is really difficult. .
Actually, part two is about CFMOTO motorcycles. (first here) Around 2007, CFMOTO launched a motorcycle based on the GS 150cc engine. In principle, we can say that this is a clone of the Suzuki GS 125 because it looks like twin brothers. But judging by the fact that the motorcycle is sold in markets such as Europe and Australia, this is a licensed clone, because otherwise I think Suzuki would not have left this matter so easily, although I am not an expert in these matters. The motorcycle was equipped with a 157MJ-2 engine with a volume of 144.9 cc, water-cooled, a 5-speed gearbox, an injection, the engine does not have a kickstarter (in my opinion, except for enduro and cross-country bikes, kick is not needed anywhere else, although this is a matter of personal preference), and it is also equipped with a lubrication system with a full-fledged oil filter (which I think is useful for the resource). Yes, yes, I was not mistaken, the first motorcycle and immediately an injector, the model was called CFMOTO CF150 (the name Leader appeared later). The motorcycle had front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. Engine power 12-14 hp. depending on modification. Maximum speed in a straight line is 120 km/h. Tires 18 inches, front 2.75, rear 3.25. The weight of the motorcycle is 128 kg. Actually, this is what he looked like: Who shouted Yobr? This is not Yobr, this is a Suzuki GS 125. Here is a photo for comparison. The motorcycle in this modification was not supplied to Russia; most likely, most of them were for the Australian market.
But then 2008 came and a crisis broke out... to which CFMOTO was not at a loss and released the CF150-A motorcycle. They removed the injector from there, installed a carburetor and a different cylinder head (engine 157MJ-2A), and changed the appearance a bit. This is what he was like, although there may have been versions with a muzzle from the 1st generation.
Tidy.
It was in this modification that it began to be supplied to Russia at the beginning of 2012.
But in 2013, the motorcycle was modernized again, or rather, updated engines began to be installed. For different markets, engines are 157MJ-3 (injection CF150-B) and 157MJ-3A (carb CF150-C). And it was in this modification that the motorcycle received the name CFMOTO Leader. The engine grew a little in volume to 149.9 cc, received a balancer shaft and a 6-speed gearbox. Photo of the engine (157MJ-3): The engine itself. 3D model with slice.
The appearance of the motorcycle has not changed; it can be distinguished from the 2nd generation motorcycles only by the engine.
This model is supplied to Russia in a version with a carburetor.
Also in 2013, a new motorcycle was introduced called V-Night. The motorcycle had a new frame, rear mono shock absorber, rear disc brakes and a plastic body kit ala sport. The motorcycle is available in two versions: carb (CF150-2C) and injection (CF150-2B), with engines 157MJ-3A and 157MJ-3, respectively. The tires are 17 inches, front 90/90, rear 120/70. The weight of the motorcycle is 138 kg. Actually, here are the photos: The motorcycle itself.
3D model of the frame.
Tidy.
This is what he looks like alive.
Unfortunately, this model is not supplied to Russia and the prospects for its appearance here are vague, but those suffering may be pleased with fraternal Kazakhstan, where it is sold. I hope I’ll be able to touch it, since it’s difficult to judge from photographs how successful the motorcycle turned out.
The year 2013 for CFMOTO was marked by another significant event, namely the conclusion of an agreement with KTM for the assembly and sale of KTM motorcycles on the Chinese market. And to top it all off, if earlier the design of motorcycles was developed by the company itself (well, using the copy-paste method), now the design is handled by KISKA. As they say, this company developed the design of the entire line of KTM motorcycles.
And in 2014, CFMOTO presented the fruits of this cooperation. Meet the new motorcycle in the CFMOTO 150 cc motorcycle line. CFMOTO 150NK, please love and favor.
The engine remains the same, but now only in the injection version. Naturally front and rear disc brakes. Tires 17 inches, front 100/80, rear 130/70. The weight of the motorcycle is 142 kg.
Here are some more photos: New frame.
Tidy.
Exhaust, rear brakes and monoshock.
Front floating brake disc.
Well, this is what it actually looks like in real life, with a clearly not skinny Chinese man driving it.
In general, here is such a handsome Chinese in my opinion. Again, deliveries of this model should begin in 2015 and so far there is no information about whether they will be supplied to Russia.
In general, it’s something like this. I hope it was informative, if you have questions, write in the comments, maybe I forgot to tell you something.
Suzuki GSX-R 1000 K1
The most powerful motorcycle on our list today, the GSX-R 1000 debuted in 2001, and its engine had 160 hp.
The drive is considered reliable and durable if it is properly maintained. The engine was the king of straight lines - it had great acceleration and the highest v-max, which hovered in the range of 290 km/h. The elegant styling is a classic Suzuki of those years, we know the same with the 750 and 600 cc models. Fully adjustable suspension, 6-piston calipers and a sporty driving position are just right for the GSX-R.

Motorcycles 1000cc
Motorcycles are quite popular vehicles these days. And it’s not surprising, because they are offered on the world market in a wide range, and any consumer can easily buy 1000 cc motocross motorcycles or other specific vehicle models, without even overpaying for them. But who would need such a powerful bike? And in what cases should you pay attention to it? This should be discussed in more detail.
First of all, we note that Chinese 1000 cc motorcycles belong to the category of modern sports bikes (as, indeed, all other models of this power class). At the same time, they are equipped with four-stroke engines, and the manufacturers place the main emphasis on ensuring that maximum power is obtained from the vehicle engine, as well as ease of control even at high speeds. So it is not surprising that the vehicles in question clearly fall into the category of reliable and safe.
Listing the main features that characterize, for example, Japanese 1000 cc motorcycles, we should mention:
- full coverage with plastic sheathing, allowing to minimize air resistance;
- presence of a powerful four-cylinder engine;
- use of light alloy parts;
- to ensure better controllability, the fork mounting angle is minimized;
- prices for 1000cc motorcycles are set quite high, which, however, is fully compensated by their excellent performance characteristics and incomparable reliability;
- The types of bikes in question are equipped with completely special “racing” tires;
- The exhaust system of a sports motorcycle can be direct-flow or semi-direct-flow.
These are the main characteristics of modern sportbikes, and if you love high speeds and value excellent quality, you simply cannot find a better option.
