Verdict
The Alpha moped from Viper is for those who are looking for an affordable vehicle option, but just can’t decide.
Viper created an economical (consumption of 2 liters per 100 km) transport with a classic design, similar to the Riga and Verkhovyna models.
The Alpha Lux 110cc moped, which is a restyled version, uses the same power plant as the regular version.
Moped Alpha 110 sport is a modification of the standard model. The main difference is a more aggressive appearance. Technically no different from the regular version. The maximum speed of all models is 100 km/h.

The new Alpha 110 cc mopeds are equipped with a four-stroke single-cylinder gasoline unit. Its power is 3 kW (5 hp). The Alpha 110cc moped engine is capable of providing acceptable acceleration and traction characteristics (0-100 km/h: ~ 15 seconds, load capacity: 120 kg).
One cylinder can withstand loads of up to 7500 rpm. The 4-speed manual transmission ensures smooth acceleration. Despite the engine size, fuel consumption is only 2 liters per 100 km.
You can start the moped in one of two ways:

The suspension is designed for use in areas with a lot of bumps. The rear wheel differs from the front in having a wider tire (2.75 inches versus 2.50 inches). The brake system consists of two drums, each of which is located in the central part of each of the wheels. It is impossible to separate the discs from the hubs, since the wheel does not have removable spokes.
Appearance of Alpha RX
Alpha RX is an updated version of the previous classic moped. The new moped has become more interesting and elegant in appearance. The exterior has a modern look which I liked. The tank has been updated, a two-level seat has been installed - the passenger is now slightly higher than the driver. The passenger's visibility is now better. The wings are now made of plastic, but only the front wing is painted. This already saves the wings from corrosion.
The headlight became larger than that of the classic Alpha, a serious halogen lamp was installed, and the light became brighter. The rear shock absorbers have become more advanced in shape. The motorcycle is also equipped with serious lighting equipment - front and rear lights, turn signals with sound, high and low beams, a signal and a brake light.
Very easy to use. Repair is possible with a minimum set of tools, but you will have to stock up on additional open-end wrenches: 9, 11 and 15.
It comes in two versions for sale: with a 72 cc and 110 cc engine. But lately they have been supplied partially unserviceable with a 50cc piston that will need to be upgraded. These versions of the models are called Alpha 7 and Alpha 11.
These numbers are deciphered as follows:
- 7 is an Alpha, which after modification will become a 72 cc model.
- 11 is the Alpha, which will become a 110 cc model.
Initially, these models cost like “fifty dollars” and they will not be able to drive. In any case, they will have to be modified. But according to the documents, they are like mopeds with 49.9 cubic meters and there is no need to register them with the traffic police. The only thing you need is a driver's license of any category.

Exterior
Despite the fact that the Alpha moped is called a scooter, its appearance is similar to that of a motorcycle. Design features include:
- large wheels;
- large fork (front);
- rear view mirrors;
- a large number of elements made of high-quality metal.
This scooter, made in China, is distinguished by its solid size and respectable appearance. As nice bonuses, there are stylish footrests and a muffler made in the shape of a saxophone, and capable of producing a melodic sound.
In the instrument panel, in addition to the speedometer, there are special lights that notify the owner of the moped about which turn signal is in use at the moment, as well as whether the high or low beam is turned on.
A comfortable and safe ride is ensured thanks to a convenient place for the case, as well as side bars made of high-quality metal pipes. Even in the event of a fall or accident, they are not in danger of deformation.
Analogs
Comparison with analogues of the Alpha moped led to the identification of competitive models. It turned out that there is only one model that can lure potential buyers to itself: Soul Lux S. The technical characteristics are similar. The difference lies in the dimensions (the competitor is 2 cm wider and 6 cm longer) and the presence of a large windshield. The Soul Lux S is $50 more expensive, and the reason for paying extra is the windshield.

Flaws
Despite the confidence-inspiring characteristics, the Alpha moped cannot be called the limit of perfection. The disadvantages of the model, in comparison with the numerous advantages, are insignificant.
Connoisseurs of urban drive note the following disadvantages:
- the model’s engine is not equipped with forced cooling;
- manual transmission (shifting gears at traffic lights and in traffic jams is not convenient);
- weak drum brakes;
- wide steering wheel.
Despite the excellent grip of the tires on the asphalt, due to weak drum brakes, the Alpha moped is quite unpredictable on the track in dry weather. This provokes a longer braking distance.

Separately, I would like to tell you about the reviews left by the owners of the Alpha 110.
An example of one such review: this motorcycle was given to me for my birthday by my parents. Then it cost 26 thousand rubles. I remember how incredibly happy I was about such a gift, it even got to the point that I wanted to sleep with it. Now I would like to tell you about its pros and cons: the maximum speed it reaches is 105 km/h. I didn't like the rubber because it wore out too quickly, so I installed another one. There is also neon lighting, which looked simply gorgeous in the absence of lighting. Steering wheel control is quite easy. A glove compartment was installed behind it, black in color with a flame of fire. What more can be said? Fearless of puddles and mud.
I filled it with gasoline at 3-4 liters per 100 km. There was once such a case when one refill lasted him 4-5 days. I was very pleased with this moped. Now he is in his third year. Starts more slowly than before. And the appearance is no longer impressive. The paint has darkened. But it is still suitable for driving. To date, the mileage is 19,449 thousand km. There were malfunctions, but due to cheap spare parts this did not cause any special problems.
Most users praise the design and dynamics of the moped. However, not everyone likes the quality of the material from which the moped is made and the cost.
Description of the Alpha moped
The Alpha 72cc moped is one of the most famous representatives among Chinese motorcycles. This moped is perfect for use both in rural areas and on city roads. A durable iron frame, complete absence of plastic parts, large diameter wheels - simply created for domestic roads, the quality of which is far from European level.
If you ride often, the rather high seating position of the ALPHA moped makes it possible to overcome low obstacles. A big advantage when choosing a moped is its low price, which makes the purchase quite affordable. This would be a good choice for a beginner.

Modifications
Review of the Alpha 72 cc moped. would not be complete without listing its main modifications. There are two frame options for this moped. This is high, with space for a large gas tank, and low, where the gas tank is small and the trunk is located above it. In terms of their characteristics, both versions of the moped will be almost identical, with the exception of the difference in the volume of gas tanks and a slight difference in seat height. "Alpha" is made by a number of Chinese manufacturers, so there are many parallel names for the same model. Run-in
Running in the Alpha moped (72 cc) does not take much time and has several main conditions for obtaining the correct result. It is necessary to strictly observe the speed limit until the first thousand kilometers, you must not overheat the engine by forcing it to operate at maximum speed for more than 20 minutes, and you should also change the oil after 500, 1000, 2000 and 5000 km.
Design
What can you expect from an extremely budget Chinese bike? Everything can be seen from the photo - the most standard frame, primitive shock absorbers, a small engine, 17-inch wheels... The Alpha RX 110 looks discreet, but for that kind of money design is not the main thing. The appearance of the moped may be unprepossessing, but it is very cheap, and it justifies its price.
Repair and tuning
Thanks to its design simplicity, Motoland Alpha RX is highly reliable and maintainable. There are plenty of spare parts in stores and on Aliexpress , and they are very cheap. It is often cheaper to buy a new part to replace a broken one than to repair an old one.
Repair
For complete repair and maintenance of the Alpha PX, a standard suitcase with tools is enough. You can disassemble and reassemble the bike in a day, if you don’t get distracted. This is one of its advantages - no matter what is broken in it, it can be repaired or replaced without problems.
Spare parts
The cost of consumables and spare parts for the Alpha RX remains low, and everything you need is usually in stock at most motorcycle stores. In most cases, there is no point in contacting motorcycle services, because thanks to the elementary design of the bike, it is not difficult to carry out all the required operations on your own.
Tuning
Already from the factory, the bike is equipped with everything necessary, including roll bars and a trunk. Owners often change the mirrors (due to the short legs of the standard mirrors, it is difficult to adjust them so that you can see something other than your shoulders), install a central trunk and change the turn signals, because the standard ones are not reliable.
