Greetings to all who care :) Today, on this rainy day in my city, I would like to make a short review of this device, without delving too deeply into its intricacies. After writing THIS POST, in which I mentioned my Sibchik, I was asked to write more about him. Just my thoughts and observations and just a few dry numbers. To begin with, its technical characteristics:

This is a small-capacity motorcycle with a hint of sportiness in appearance. In fact, it’s a copy of the Honda CBR 150R, by the way, with 150cc it has as much as 20hp under the plastic. fit :) Sibishka has only 14 hp. with Chinese such tension.

Let's try to determine who this motorcycle is actually for? The cost at a car dealership is 55-65 thousand rubles. Used on average 40-45 thousand (For reference, the cost of a Honda CBR 150R is 130 thousand rubles) It is mainly bought by first-season drivers in order to gain basic driving skills. Agree, it’s difficult to buy a new motorcycle for this money, and in this price segment it competes mainly with the YBR125 and Flame 200. Yobrik is known to be assembled in China, however, its quality has been verified. The build quality, maintainability, and simply the quality of materials are superior to Yobr. The Sibikha is captivating primarily with its appearance, but it can also be deceptive. After all, price sometimes determines properties that are not unimportant for the consumer. Below I want to give the main disadvantages that this Chinese creation contains.

First of all, you must be prepared for the fact that after purchase, it is imperative to conduct a FULL and thorough inspection of this motorcycle. Because important fasteners often turn out to be loose, you need to tighten and check everything that has a thread. This model was released in 2011, at that time it was very crude and had a serious drawback: in the first 1000 km of run, the RUBBER intake pipe tore, after which, at best, your idle speed was unstable, at worst, this trouble could provide you with rest on the side of the road roads waiting for a tow truck. But fortunately, this drawback was eliminated after 2013 by installing an aluminum pipe.

Next, without fail, I will talk about rubber. Chinese native tires will easily provide you with drift on wet asphalt, but in no case will they keep you stable on the road surface. For a beginner, this can be especially critical, because without control skills, without learning how to control the physics of a motorcycle, he can become a victim of this Chinese misunderstanding. In no way do I want to offend anyone’s tender feelings for this motorcycle, I’m just warning you :) In short, there is only one conclusion: you need to change the tires.

As for the dynamic characteristics, I can say a lot about them, but I’ll just say one thing, they don’t exist :)) No, of course the motorcycle runs, but you’re unlikely to be able to accelerate faster than nine at a traffic light. The maximum speed, according to some Internet warriors, is on average about 160 km/h. No, really in a straight line 110 km/h. You don't have to count on anything more here. And dear, the Chinese speedometer is, of course, lying.

Some people (probably depends on the run-in) have a problem with switching to neutral; it can be very difficult to catch. I can’t tell you anything terrible about the engine’s performance, I’ll only say that you need to frequently adjust the valves and don’t forget about changing the oil. The engine runs on average 20 thousand km.

Plastic is a different story. There are suspicions that it is made from recycled Honda parts :) It bursts easily and most likely from vibrations. By the way, about vibration, it seems to me that there is too much of it, especially my fifth point at eighty kilometers per hour spoke about this :) Let's return to the plastic, here it is necessary to strengthen it (for example, with fiberglass), otherwise it will rattle.

I have no complaints about the electrics, except that the turn signals make a squeaking sound. The electric starter works perfectly; in extreme cases, there is a KIC starter, which definitely won’t be superfluous. Some models since 2013 have a standard signaling system, but it is clear that it does not save even pioneers :))

The brakes stop it quite adequately at subsonic speeds :) Also, without any special complaints, I make a discount everywhere, because I don’t forget about the origin of this friend :)

The location of some spare parts calls into question the adequacy of the engineers. After all, to unscrew the spark plug and measure compression, you have to remove the seat, or even the tank. You can do without this, but you will suffer a lot. Also, when you have to adjust the valves, to remove the valve cover you may have to hang the engine (remove it from two mounts). Otherwise, it will rest against the frame and not only a wrench, nor even a feeler gauge will fit into this gap. Some managed to do this without resorting to such a radical method, but I don’t know how, I’ll soon find out myself through experience. Well, a chain is a chain, it’s clear that it will have to be lubricated, tightened... But a Chinese chain!!! This is an adjustment every 1000 km. A chain from Ant is suitable for it, as a budget option for solving the problem, it will be stronger. One last gripe, it doesn't have a CENTER STAND! Sometimes it's really lacking. But if desired, it can be installed...

The time has come to draw conclusions. Flame 200 differs significantly in appearance, price (10 thousand rubles) and in some places quality. Here I advise you to just sit on both. Yobrik has been tested and will not cause any problems, but you need to look carefully when buying, like any motorcycle (I came across crookedly assembled, half-dead engines from them). In my opinion, Sibchik should be taken for one season, maximum two, during which time you will be able to gain repair and driving experience. If you look at training from the perspective of “I’ll learn from this, I’ll be able to ride anything later,” the option is ideal for you! You will definitely have to repair it yourself (you won’t be able to do without breakdowns at all), or go to a service center (and there aren’t that many of them in Moscow time). There is no shortage of consumables for it, but you will have to look for some spare parts. There are several communities of Sibihi lovers on VKontakte and they will always help you and give you advice. The motorcycle is well suited for those who have no hands, need to go fishing on something or have a need to learn and like IT! It is definitely worth the money, not a ruble more, not a ruble less. This motorcycle does not crumble on the go and you will be happy with it, the main thing is not to create illusions about it.

Below are photos of SB200

And these are just pipes. Tires on the left, new ones on the right. The motor is 2011, I had to change it myself.

Comparison with analogues and competitors

The main competitor of the model is the Yamaha YBR-125 and Sagitta Spitzer CBR 150. In terms of technical characteristics and quality of materials used, the Stels SB 200 is practically not inferior to Yamaha, and is slightly ahead of Sagitta. In other respects, all three models are in an equal position. Stealth Delta 200 can also compete with them.

Reviews from real owners

A new 200cc motorcycle at the price of a used Yamaha YBR 125, this was the decisive argument. I don’t remember the details, I sold the Stealth a long time ago, drove it for two years until I saved up money for a CB750. When selling, I lost a third of the price, but the moped fully recovered its price. There were no breakdowns in two years, only consumables + the clutch were changed, which I myself burned due to inexperience. Sergey, Moscow, Stels SB 200 '2012

I read reviews on the forums about the Stealth SB 200 and was confused by the Chinese origin of the bike. But while I was choosing, several events happened that crippled the budget, so I had to squeeze in and take the 5-year-old Stealth. I got the bike cheaply, but it was heavily used, with damaged plastic and broken stars. Spare parts are sold by weight, the plastic was tinted with a paint marker. The engine and gearbox work like clockwork. The fork leaked after a week, but the seals and anthers were still there, as they were. Everything is expected, but a used Chinese car is generally a lottery, so I was lucky. Valery, Omsk, Stels SB 200 '2011.

I bought it new (without mileage but released in 2015) secondhand from a person who took the bike, put it in the garage and did not ride it. He gave me a reasonable price, enough to replace the battery, tires and oil. So far I’m driving carefully, I’m getting used to it, I like everything, but I have nothing to compare it with except the Ural in the countryside. Boris, Tver, Stels SB 200 '2015.

Advantages and disadvantages

Stels SB 200 has the following advantages:

  • Price. This is the main advantage of this model. Stels SB 200 is cheaper than imported models. Owners will also be pleased with the cost of parts for the Stels SB 200.
  • Gas tank volume. The fuel tank with a capacity of 15 liters allows you to go on long trips without thinking about refueling.
  • Light weight and high maneuverability. Stels SB 200 is an ideal solution for a large city. The device deftly maneuvers in traffic jams and passes through narrow places.
  • Wind protection. The glass copes with the task perfectly; discomfort is not felt even at a speed of 100 km/h.
  • Control. Stels SB 200, thanks to its simple operation, is ideal for learning to drive.

Like all state employees, the device has several minor drawbacks:

  • Average quality of materials. The plastic of the case is quite fragile and soft, any fall can lead to damage. The cost of spare parts smooths things out a bit.
  • Non-adjustable suspension.
  • Mediocre dynamics of the device.
  • Small seat. Stels SB 200 may not be suitable for walking together; two people simply won’t fit on the seat.
  • Speed. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to enjoy the pleasant wind and flashing landscapes. Already at 100 km/h the device begins to behave slightly inadequately.

Technical characteristics of Stels SB 400

Some people think that a motorcycle is not capable of anything. Others, on the contrary, are surprised by its endurance and comfortable fit, designed for two people. But which opinion is true? Are appearances deceiving and is the cost justified? To do this, let's look at the technical characteristics of the Stels SB 400.

The four-stroke engine installed on this motorcycle is equipped with 13 horsepower. Fuel consumption is from 3-4 liters on the highway and up to 5 liters in the city. With an impressive 10 liter tank, you won't have to constantly refuel. The manual transmission has 5 speeds, thanks to which you can quickly reach maximum speed.
