Stels alpha 50 benelli belongs to the mini scooter category. This is an ideal option for those who like a leisurely, measured ride. Compact dimensions allow you to effectively maneuver in traffic jams, and a comfortable fit makes it possible to spend a long time behind the wheel.
This can be a great option for courier service workers when the luggage is small but needs to be delivered on time. A notable part of the appearance is the large wheels, the original body shape , as well as the interesting front wheel guard.

The engine standard for scooters is highly reliable and of high quality. The maximum speed is gained very quickly. An air cooling system is used. Ignition is electronic. The engine is started by an electric starter. The reliability of the engine is due to the fact that it is made in Italy.
Manual brake system. There is a disc brake on the front wheel, and a drum brake on the rear wheel.
Disadvantages of the model
- The low beam is poorly designed.
- The seat is designed for two people, but sitting together is quite cramped.
- The rigid suspension reacts sharply to all surface irregularities.
- Poor dirt protection. When driving in rainy weather, all the dirt will be on the back of the passenger or driver.
The Stealth Arrow is designed to quietly drive along city streets, and not suffer in public transport. In terms of technical characteristics, it does not particularly stand out among its competitors in the class. Except that the acceleration dynamics are higher than those of some mopeds.
A bright, interesting exterior will make the vehicle stand out from its competitors. Stealth Arrov 50 is an ideal small-capacity option for the city . Commuting to work will be more enjoyable, and you won't have to sit in traffic jams. With proper running-in, the scooter will cover more than one thousand kilometers.
Scooter club
Hello.
Today I would like to write a review about my scooter and try to talk about its features, nuances of use and real capabilities. Here I wrote about how I became its owner and how the “arrow” received battle scars. Some will say “China is crap” and they will be wrong, even though this scooter was designed by Italians, but its frames and engine are Chinese. Despite this, there are no problems with it, because as you know, the Chinese motorcycle industry is developing by leaps and bounds. In this model, the engine is modified almost to perfection, and although it is not comparable in power to its donor Yamaha Minarelli, it has the highest tuning potential, cheap spare parts and consumables. When you sit on it, you understand how tall it is, because the height of the saddle is even higher than that of its Chinese brothers, in general the seat is well profiled and even a person of average height can reach the ground. The open steering wheel adds sportiness to the already fast-moving image, and most importantly, it can be adjusted to suit you. The rear-view mirrors provide an average view; in general, you see in them everything you need, but nothing more. However, at idle speed and when driving from a hill at a speed of over 80, or rather maximum revolutions, the image becomes blurry, which in general does not greatly spoil the impression of them. After all, visually they seem smaller than they actually are. They didn’t play tricks with the speedometer, making it a regular pointer, but in my case it practically doesn’t lie. But at the beginning I was surprised that when the gasoline mark drops to zero, there is still one and a half liters left in the tank. Later I found out that this is the so-called reserve. The tank, by the way, has a volume of 6.2 liters and is located at the bottom of the scooter, thereby lowering the center of gravity and providing amazing handling! I've ridden different scooters and none of them were even close in terms of handling. A person who owns a scooter and has not ridden an arrow can say that “screw the handling and mine rides well.” BUT! Even a 150 cc Vortex will not provide such accuracy, so tell me how does your motorcycle/scooter ride at a speed of 1 km/h? He is the king in traffic jams! When you drive between cars with pinpoint precision, leaving a centimeter between the mirrors, you understand what it’s worth. But the embossed plastic, although it looks amazing and has no less amazing quality (after sliding, it rubbed almost through in one place and did not give a single crack), but when it falls, many parts suffer, fortunately they are not expensive. Let's return to clearance. It allows you to drive even onto a high curb and, most importantly, allows you to stow your scooter, since not every motorcycle can. The rubber holds up quite well, but on dry roads! When driving in the rain, you need to maneuver more carefully and brake with the front brake, which, by the way, has good potential and perfectly stops the scooter at any speed. But when driving long distances, you have to take breaks or change the position of your butt so that it doesn’t become numb. The passenger here is an unnecessary and absolutely unnecessary phenomenon, the scooter sharply loses in dynamics but still accelerates to 70! km/h A long-distance trip of 120 km with a passenger and a large backpack on the last one has been tested, it goes quite normally and is not particularly exhausting (there was a traffic jam along the way 20 km). But the bumps on it are scary because the suspension is stiff, like on sports, and every pothole gives an unpleasant feeling... well, you get the idea =) The scooter can accelerate to 73 real kilometers per hour and brake from this speed with both wheels locked without subsequent falling. It is perfect for both a beginner who needs reliable and well-handled equipment, and a tuner (the latter should like the passenger footrests, which are convenient to stand on to perform a wheelie), but it won’t do a wheelie until you stick at least a 70 cc piston in there. Mileage The scooter withstood 3,500 km without a single breakdown, perhaps a fairly competent run-in helped here, but the engine can be considered durable. Since there are owners who have already clocked about 15,000 km on their original piston engine. As a result, this is probably the best scooter for the money they ask for it, and its many advantages more than cover the only couple of disadvantages. By the way, the tank is enough for 160 km of travel, when driving at maximum speed.
PS I hope this will help someone decide, because there is not a single complete review of this Benelka on the Internet.
PPS Don't be sad when going to work =)
PPS Be careful on the road:
WITH
The Stels Arrow 100 BENELLI scooter looks like its fifty-cc brother, the Stels Arrow 50 BENELLI. This scooter was designed by Italians, but its frame and engine are Chinese. Despite this, there are no problems with it, because, as you know, the Chinese motorcycle industry is developing by leaps and bounds. In this model, the engine has been modified almost to perfection and even if it is not comparable in
power with its donor Yamaha Minarelli, but has the highest tuning potential, cheap
spare parts and consumables.
Lightweight, fast, precise in handling – the Stels Arrow 100 BENELLI accelerates to 100 km/h. But the normal comfortable speed is no more than 70 km/h.
The seating position is high, but a person of average height can easily reach the ground thanks to the well-profiled seat.
The steering wheel has slight adjustments, and you can easily adjust it to suit you.
The mirrors are not large and at idle and at speeds above 80 km/h the image in them becomes blurry.
The instrument panel is available in two versions: analog and digital, depending on which one you like best.
Some owners claim that analog instruments do not lie, but the electronic speedometer has an error.
The tank has a volume of 6.2 liters and is located at the bottom of the scooter, thereby lowering the center of gravity and delivering amazing handling. you are easy
keep your balance at a speed of 1 km/h. And you will be able to maneuver freely. The scooter's ground clearance makes it easy to ride on high curbs. And corner the scooter like nothing a motorcycle could ever dream of.
The model has a spacious luggage compartment under the seat. The helmet can be easily stored there. There are a couple more compartments in front for small items. Additionally, the scooter is equipped with an anti-theft system, which, in principle, is not superfluous in our time.
According to the owners' reviews, the engine is not whimsical and quite reliable, there are also those who have driven
15,000 km without engine repair. All owners of this model note the tenacious brakes. And what is not unimportant is that everyone says that even a beginner can brake effectively from a speed of 70 km/h without the threat of falling.
Excellent handling on dry asphalt,
On wet roads, of course, you need to be more careful with your speed and brakes. But the suspension doesn’t like bumps and holes. So the car is exclusively for the city. Although if you drive slowly along a country road, you will drive by feeling the blows at the butt.
As stated above, the model is available with two engines 50 and 100 cc. So the choice is yours.

Stels Arrow Benelli 50 - decent in an affordable way
I would like to tell you about my friend. I was presented with a unique opportunity to acquire this unit, provided that I already had one - Stels Vortex 50 (more on that later). “Belka” was bought inexpensively for those times, but it did not become very popular, because few people knew about it: many people on the streets looked with surprise at a certain creation of the Chinese motorcycle industry.
But here I have it, it was March 2009. It was an absolute pleasure to poop on it, but at the time I was 12-13 years old, I was confused by the fact that equipment of this caliber was still too big for me, so I only took walks on it on holidays or when someone took my Vortex 50 (mostly then I rolled names on “Vorta”, as I was more familiar with him). Advice for those who want to buy a similar scooter: if you are not experienced, this is your first purchase, then you should not buy the Belka. I'll tell you why: the price for the "Chinese" is a little higher than the norm, but it's worth it, however, only a tall person can fully master the art of driving this moped, and for teenagers it will be very difficult (however, buying this moped is purely your decision, I just I advise, you may disagree).
And now about the bad - breakdowns.
Of course, the motor here is known to many as a horizontal “minarelli” (more precisely “chinarelli”), I won’t go into details, just the basics:
1. 2 measures
2. Large selection of spare parts and tuning
3. It is possible to fix it yourself
I believe that this is the optimal engine not only for city mopeds, but also for those who use their vehicles in towns, villages, dachas, i.e. rugged terrain. Of course, you shouldn’t roll around in mud and rain, but dust has a small effect on the engine (but, again, how and where to ride). Great attention should be paid to the oil pump and carburetor with filter (for starters). The oil pump is located on the right side of the engine near the generator. Stealth disease - the oil pump fails, unfortunately, for reasons unknown to me, so it’s worth pouring regular 2t oil directly into the tank (more precisely, adding just a little), this will reduce the likelihood that if the oil pump burns out, your CPG will remain in working order . About the carburetor - keep it clean, often clean the filter (on the left side of the engine) if you drive over rough and dusty terrain.
About appearance.
Stickers like “Quatro Sport”, “Benelli”, etc. I immediately took it off - it looks more solid without them. I left only a large black sticker on the green wings of the beak, where the turn signals are. The scooter never fell, there were only moments when, due to my carelessness, I flew into a parked moped (the left green fender and its fastenings were damaged), hit the mirrors (hasn’t happened to anyone?), and with my feet damaged the area around the gas tank (it’s on the bottom) under your feet). In principle, there were no more incidents. I really like the open steering wheel as standard and the layout of the instrument panel - there is no head rattling like on the Vortex. The plastic is of very high quality, maybe even higher quality than all Stels in this line. But, as usual, the front wing flies off. This disease is not just “Squirrels”.
Landing and movement.
The boarding on the Belka is very comfortable. There is no such feeling when your feet almost touch the accelerator, they have nothing to rest against, unlike the same Vortex. You sit very high, it’s scary but pleasant). If you take a passenger, then he has nothing to hold on to. Under no circumstances allow passengers to hold on to the seat strap - it can be pulled out! In principle, when I am in the role of a passenger, I don’t hold on at all, but it’s up to you who to carry and how to hold on. The rear spring is, in principle, the same as on all Stels in this line, but sometimes it seems to me that it is a bit stiff. But it’s quite pleasant to drive on the highway and around the city, unlike rough terrain. I don’t have tuning and I’m not going to install it, so the maximum speed varies around 60-70 km/h. It’s nice in the city because its peppy ride helps you to be one with the flow, to have time to start just like the neighboring small car at a traffic light in the Marino area.
Let's summarize: the moped is very worthy, but keep in mind - this is an ordinary scooter, not a motorcycle or a cross-country bike.
So don't expect this to be a beast of a machine. You need to be careful with tuning: Chinese crankcases are not designed for heavy loads. But tuning installation and driving style are purely your decision and business. Thank you for your attention!
