160 forces and 208 Nm are digested by a five-speed gearbox and a dry multi-plate clutch. On the left is the motor transmission by a toothed belt, on the right is the main transmission by a chain - not at all Harley-style. Plus lots of perfectly fitted milled aluminum parts, a miniature seat, parallelogram forks, compact PIAA headlights and handlebar-end mirrors. The high-tech picture is complemented by carbon wheels shod with Pirelli Diabolo tires. What's the end result? The “dry residue” is 209 kg. How do you like it for a two-liter cruiser? That's it, I'm talking about the same thing.

Getting ready to throw my leg over the seat with the usual movement, I had to move my limb rather around the wheel - against its background the seat is barely noticeable. Or rather, what can be called a seat. But as soon as I placed my butt between two leather pads, this same point, and at the same time I felt with it, that it was really comfortable - even by the standards of large comfortable cruiser chairs.

But what the Fighter doesn’t like to struggle with is playing with the gas in turns. It very easily unloads the front wheel, which leads to deterioration in controllability and drift off the trajectory. The 240 mm rear tire perfectly realizes the huge torque of the engine, but does not sharpen the handling “under gas”. But that is until you stop opening the throttle. And on steady throttle, it steers beautifully for a car with such a chassis and layout, and easily shifts from side to side during a slow series of turns. Moreover, even on a bad road, the Fighter is surprisingly stable in turns - thanks to the well-chosen characteristics of the Race Tech shock absorbers.

The only negative thing, in my opinion, is the brakes. Even without excluding the possibility that the American Brembo dealer could have incorrectly selected the pads for the cermet disc, looking at the scuffs on it, we can conclude: one 300-mm disc at the front is clearly not enough for a car weighing 209 kilograms, which has 160 fresh “horses” in its arsenal " Here's Brembo for you! Perhaps it is worth duplicating the design on the second side of the front wheel - at least for safety reasons. Of course, this motorcycle should be regarded more as a work of art, a decoration and an extension of something, but since it is capable of driving, and, as it turned out, very well, then if you please, I will nitpick.

And yet, this quintessence of engineering and design thought is not just a concept and the embodiment of fantasies, but a completely full-fledged machine. It's smoother and more dynamic than Wraith, still with head-scratchingly exciting dynamics. The Confederate company gave itself and its clients a wonderful gift - I have never seen a more charismatic device with a real drive.

In general, in this motorcycle, almost every detail fulfills not only its direct purpose, but also a number of functions that would seem completely inappropriate for it. Almost - because the engine and wheels here are still in their usual role. Although familiarity is a flexible concept. The huge “air” V-twin, mounted absolutely rigidly in the frame, is equipped with two balancer shafts that nullify the terrible vibrations inevitable with such an arrangement.
