Chassis and brakes
The frame of the TW 225 is made of steel. She looks not exactly elegant, but very extravagant. The motorcycle, in principle, has an appearance that matches its off-road purpose. The spoked wheels and distinctive handlebars make it very enduro-like.
The rear pendulum suspension is paired with a monoshock absorber, and the TW 225 has a telescopic fork at the front. The rear brake is a drum version, and the front has a 220 mm disc along with a two-piston caliper. It's not that it's the best ride possible, but the bike delivers excellent ride quality.

I had a tevashka))) cool mots!! very easy to drive, stable on sand and dirt roads, rises to a standstill, finally I really liked the bike, I sold it only because I wanted it faster (it drove with me up to 135 km/h) and they offered me normal money.
And as for “not for shit,” I can argue, well, okay, the wing can be used for something, but the all-terrain vehicle is still the same!!

Yamaha TW200 engine
Although the 196cc four-stroke air-cooled engine seems quite small, it is sufficient for the Yamaha TW200. The short-stroke engine has a compression ratio of 9.5:1, so does not require high-octane fuel, and the Mikuni carburetor with a 28mm choke is easy to set up and maintain. Capacitor ignition, on the other hand, requires no adjustments or maintenance and simply gets the job done, while the automatic timing chain tensioner means you can spend less time in the garage and more time on the bike. A five-speed constant mesh transmission transmits torque to the rear wheel via a chain drive. Yamaha TW-200. Operating experience.
this motorcycle /Yamaha TW-200/ new at the PANAVTO showroom in May 2006. The mileage is currently 6,000 kilometers. This is not much, but some conclusions can already be drawn.
1. ASPHALT - the motorcycle is intended ONLY for dirt roads, mud, sand and other non-hard surfaces. On the asphalt it confidently holds 110-120 - this is its maximum speed, but you need to be afraid of transverse unevenness and bumps, at such a speed, after flying such a thing, a specific shimmy begins, and adrenaline is released from your pants. There is no emergency braking from normal speed... the weak front brake and drum brake at the rear make itself felt. I'll install a reinforced hose - maybe it will help. It’s not very convenient to climb in traffic jams - the steering wheel is wide.
2. OFF-ROAD is his strong point!!! With these super tires I’m not afraid to climb wherever the asphalt ends - this is the king of bad roads. You can safely ride along the beach on the water, and most importantly, on the sand. I am ready to beat ANY endurist in deep sand at low speeds. Any cross bike or enduro bike will get stuck where the Yamaha TW-200 . Forest - the assault on any Christmas tree-sticks is painless, although the suspension is stiff, the wheels compensate for this. Dirt - oh, how nice it is to slip while holding the front brake!!! Streams of water and mud bubble up from under the powerful tread of the Yamaha TW-200 ... and then you just release the brake and easily get out of any deep puddle.
3. FALL - due to my carelessness, at a speed of about 60 km/h, I flew into a deep ditch. The result - after a short flight, the motorcycle turned over in the air, fell vertically on the handlebars and headlights, then bounced and fell on my back (it’s clear that it was so soft for him!!!). Damage - the speedometer housing burst and partially fell apart (glued together), the instrument panel was scratched (in principle, it does not break, the headlight remained intact!!!!), the brake system was depressurized (cured by replacing the brake pads), minor scratches on the turn signals. Now imagine what would happen with another motorcycle... Super shock resistant!
4. GENERAL IMPRESSION
PROS - economical (measurements in the combined cycle showed a consumption of 3.5 l/100 km), a small but durable motorcycle - it is unrealistic to overheat, optics - five points, capable of high-speed grabbing through potholes, there is enough power even for two people, despite 15 hp. With. ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE.
MINUSES - no chain, for 6000 I almost killed it, provided it is very regularly lubricated... (if I were the designers, I would have put a thicker chain in there, but where is the dirt in Japan??!!), small tank - three liters more would...Super expensive tires (rear camera - 3000, cylinder - 8000 rubles, what do you think?).
Yes... and don’t even think about jumping on it... it could end badly. Overall, I give it a solid B. I don't even think about selling.
It's simple. I personally buy broken YBRs from motorcycle schools (I like to make street bikes out of them and transport them to my village), you should see what they do with them... they even come across them tied in a knot!!! The Ebrik is very fragile and quickly breaks down, but the Yamaha TW-200 can be dropped as much as you like. This time. TW has a very cool first gear, short, which is what beginners need. That's two.
