Review of IZh Izh-7.107K “Planet-5” (1989)

Three modifications of the IZH Planet 5 motorcycle

For many years, the Izhmash Association has been pursuing a policy of broad unification of manufactured machines. Not only parallel, that is, for models produced simultaneously, for example, “IZH-Jupiter-5” and “IZH-Planeta-5”, but also sequential - the continuity of later machines with their predecessors (“IZH-Planet-5”, “IZH-Planet-5”) Planet-4", "IZH-Planet-3", etc.). This trend will continue in the near future. As is known, Izhmash designers envision three promising families of motorcycles: “Sirius” to replace the “Planet”, “Saturn” to replace the “Jupiter” and the new “Orion” family (ZR, 1990, No. 6). The latter is based on a Japanese license, covering a four-stroke single-cylinder engine, telescopic front forks, front disc brake, cast light alloy wheels.

The development of an engine of the Yamaha-X-T-550 type is possible no earlier than 1992, although more optimistic dates have also been mentioned. And production of forks, wheels and brakes, to the delight of motorcyclists, has already begun. Naturally, their design has undergone changes to make it possible to install them on the already produced IZH-Planet-5 model. As production is mastered, Jupiters and then IZH-Orion will be equipped with new units. The editors asked Izhmash deputy chief designer for motorcycle manufacturing V. RUDENKO to talk about the new modifications of Planet-5.

We have mastered, under license, the production of a more modern telescopic front fork with increased wheel travel, as well as a front wheel disc brake and its hydraulic drive, wheels cast from aluminum alloy.

For now, only some of the machines will be equipped with these parts, since, on the one hand, it is not yet possible to provide them with the entire production program, and on the other, the consumer must have a certain choice of motorcycles that differ in design and performance. Let's take a closer look at each of the nodes.

The wheels are cast into a die made of AK9T aluminum alloy. This material allows some deformation of the part, but compared to a traditional wheel with wire spokes, a cast wheel is noticeably stiffer (especially in the lateral direction) and stronger, which is especially important when disc brakes are used, which, compared to drum brakes, create higher loads on the spokes . Cast wheels do not require periodic tightening of the spokes, they are easier to clean from dried dirt, and finally, they have a more attractive appearance.

Izhmash produces cast wheels for both tire sizes 3.25-19 and 3.50-18 inches. Their weight is respectively (without tire and tube) 7.6 and 7.0 kg, while a tangential (spoked) wheel of a traditional design for a tire measuring 3.50-18 inches has a weight of 6.6 kg.

The front wheel disc brake is single-piston with a floating caliper, secured with two bolts to the left tube of the telescopic front fork. The disk with an outer diameter of 300 mm is connected to the wheel hub with six bolts.

The drive is driven by a hydraulic system. Its capacity is 200 cm3; liquid "Tom" or "Neva". On the right handlebar there is a brake master cylinder, combined with a fluid reservoir. The hand brake lever is connected directly to the cylinder. During repeated and frequent braking, a disc brake cools better and maintains its characteristics stable - an important advantage compared to a traditional drum brake. It is especially noticeable when driving on mountain roads or on highways with heavy traffic flow.

Telescopic front fork - spring, pneumohydraulic. It is stiffer than its predecessor due to the outer diameter of the working cylinder increased to 38 mm. In addition, it provides greater wheel travel - up to 200 mm. In this regard, the transition to it can be characterized as a step that helps improve safety and driving comfort.

Depending on road conditions and load, you can change the characteristics of the front wheel suspension. Pneumatic regulation is carried out by pumping air into the cavity of both fork stays using a tire pump. In this case, it is important that the difference in pressure in the right and left does not exceed 0.1 kgf/cm2.

The new fork is only used in combination with a disc brake.

Starting this year, Izhmash produces, in addition to the basic model “Planet-5” (industry designation IZH - 7.107), three modifications of it, depending on the configuration options with new components. Here they are.

IZH 7.107-014 : only cast 18-inch wheels with drum brakes. The dry weight of the motorcycle is 160 kg. For this modification, which should be produced in the amount of 5 thousand cars this year, the retail price is set at 1,085 rubles.

IZH 7.107-015 : new telescopic fork, front wheel disc brake with hydraulic drive, cast wheels: front - 19-inch, rear - 18-inch (see photo). Dry weight - 160 kg. In 1990, 20 thousand motorcycles will be produced in this configuration. Retail price - 1150 rubles. By the way, this is the first production model in the history of the domestic motorcycle industry with disc brakes and cast wheels.

IZH 7.107-016 : new telescopic fork, drum brakes, tangential wheels. Dry weight - 160 kg. The price of the modification is 1060 rubles, the production volume in 1990 was 5 thousand cars.

The remaining components and the engine of three modifications are the same as those of the basic model “IZH-Planet-5” (see ZR, 1987, No. 3 - ed.). The first two modifications are designed for operation without a side trailer.

Review IZH 7.107.16.12 (2007)

We asked you to write a review about the motorcycle, well, welcome! There is a lot of text, you don’t have to read the introduction, it has nothing to do with this motorcycle.

INTRODUCTION

The love for two-wheeled vehicles was instilled in me from early childhood, one might say that it is in my genes. When I was still walking under the table, my dad carried me in the sidecar of his Ural motorcycle. Having sold the Urals, he bought himself his first car, and I saw motorcycles very rarely. In the summer of 2001, I visited relatives in the Rostov region, spent two weeks with the boys and motorcycles in the garages. They drove Izhas, Javas, Urals, and I rode with them in the passenger seat. That’s when I had a great desire to ride a motorcycle! A year passed, I went there again on vacation, the guys were already doing tuning: they were converting the bike into a chopper or a sports car, playing music, repainting various parts, and the like. I wanted it too, but I was just watching. In the summer of 2003, I went to the village with my parents and rode a motorcycle there for the first time. I got my first motorcycle in October 2003, a red Izh Jupiter. Although it cost 4,000 rubles, at that time it was so difficult to earn and save this amount, I also got into debt and spent the entire scholarship. There was another problem: my relatives were against my riding a motorcycle and forbade me to buy it, so I had to do everything in secret, with the help of two friends. Due to inexperience and haste, I bought a motorcycle without documents, only for the engine, since the previous owner bought it separately and was almost new. Moreover, it was the cheapest option. At first, the relatives were shocked, but there was no turning back, and after some time they came to terms with it. Winter passed, due to problems with documents, the red Jupiter was returned to the previous owner (my dad helped), he returned the money, and we bought a slightly more expensive silver Jupiter in good (for a motorcycle) configuration, plus a bunch of spare parts. Oh, I suffered with that Jupiter, I did it for a day, rode for an hour, I couldn’t even drive 50 km normally, every day something happened, then spark plugs, then the ignition, then the gasket under the head would blow out, then the battery would die. Anyone who has tinkered with Jupiter will understand me. This happened for two summers, only in the fall of 2005 a classmate sold me the Planet 92, then I forgot about the problems, I realized that you can just drive and enjoy the fact that nothing breaks. The Jupiter was sold disassembled for half the price, and the planet was fitted with an old radio and a pair of cheap speakers. While driving, you could barely hear anything, and when the engine wasn't running, you could listen to music, which was great. After some time, I bought a Sony cassette tape recorder with a solid folding panel from my friends, put it on my motorcycle and started having fun! The music was clearly audible while driving, even at low volume, but at full volume it was deafening, and could be heard throughout the entire area, neither the wind nor the noise of the engine interfered, the music sounded louder than all that!

2007

From the moment I bought my first used motorcycle, I dreamed of buying a new one, straight from the factory. So that no one has driven it before me and so that I don’t have to fix any bugs inherited from the previous owner. In the winter of 2007, I earned some money and placed an order for a motorcycle in Izhevsk. I wanted the maximum package, including a front fork with air adjustment, a hydraulic disc brake on the front wheel, alloy wheels, a wind deflector, a luggage rack and the color Rhapsody (my favorite blue metallic). First I scoured the Internet, then contacted by fax and spoke on the phone with representatives of Izhmoto. They upset me by saying that the maximum I would get on the motorcycle was metallic blue color and an air fork with a disc brake. I ordered it this way, sent them copies of documents and an advance payment, they sent me a contract and asked me to expect it to be ready within a month. At the beginning of May (a little less than a month passed) they called and said that my motorcycle was ready. After calling several advertisements and taking a friend on the road, a day later I drove a cargo gazelle from Perm to Izhevsk (a little more than 300 km). The motorcycle was received at the factory; it was unassembled and placed in a wooden box. I received it at the warehouse, it “flew” out of nowhere and flew into the cargo compartment of the gazelle (it was moved using a crane). Arriving in Perm, we somehow pulled him out and went home. For several days I sat in the garage and prepared the planet for departure, checked all the connections, terminals, tightening of threaded ones, removed what I didn’t like, and set up and adjusted. I don’t like standard things, I like everything unusual, I want to be different and stand out, so I removed the passenger strap from the seat (I almost always drive alone), prepared the mirrors, turn signals, rubber steering wheel grips, tail light, horn, gas cap and both wheels . I went to the market in my dad's car. There I agreed with the sellers about an exchange, laid out all the parts except the wheels, and chose from them the appropriate ones, but not ordinary ones, but those that I liked. The difference in price was almost a thousand rubles, I offered to bring them the rear wheel, and they would give me a brand new helmet in exchange! And no extra charge. That's what we agreed on. Then I took the new front wheel and went through the rows with the goal of exchanging it for a cast one, in the end I exchanged it for a used cast wheel with well-used tires, but without additional payment, and joyfully went home to install new parts on the motorcycle! I replaced the rear shock absorbers with softer and more unusual ones, I bought them from a friend. Mud flaps were replaced by blue Sparko. A couple of days later, the already tuned, assembled motorcycle saw the light of day for the first time. After letting it idle for 20 minutes (break-in after all), I started driving around the garages. No matter what they say, new is new. How smoothly it worked (compared to the old one), what a pleasant sound it was, what responsiveness to the throttle, nothing rattled anywhere, beauty!

On the trail. day I went to the regional traffic police to get license plates, the first jokes began: sometimes the speed would go out, the battery discharge lamp would come on, the clutch would strain (my hand could barely squeeze it) - tight, damn it! They didn’t give me a number, they demanded a certificate and invoice, someone in Izhevsk forgot about it, and in the end I received the number only a month later. I tried to adjust the clutch, due to inexperience I adjusted it in the wrong direction, and as a result, after a few days, when accelerating, I heard a wild grinding noise in the engine. I immediately stopped, went to look, the verdict: the bolt, spring and cup fell out of the clutch flywheel, in addition to the fact that they were disfigured, upon impact a crack appeared in the crankcase and oil began to leak. Using a wire, I caught the fallen parts and went to the garage to repair them. I filled the crack with sealant, adjusted the clutch, and the ride became easier. The roll bars were included, I installed them in the first days. In wet weather, my feet got wet very quickly, and splashes flew from under the front wheel. I cut out the protection from a sheet of iron in the shape of the arcs, painted it blue and secured it. It has become much better, it has become possible to drive in wet weather. There was such a thing: you were driving on a damp road after rain, and suddenly the engine stalled. You stand there, turn it for 10 minutes, and it starts. You start driving, accelerate, and stall again. After replacing the air filter, the problem disappeared, apparently it was all the problem. And in general, in wet weather it starts much worse, apparently humidity has an effect. There was also a problem: it worked fine at idle, you start driving, give it gas, the engine choke, stalls, let off the gas, it works fine. Carburetor K-68, the problem is in the enrichment needle, it falls and the motorcycle stops moving. And you can’t remove it, it won’t start without it! I had not yet sold the old Izhak, and some spare parts began to be transferred to the new one. Although the new planet was blue, I installed a silver windshield from the old bike, because I really wanted to ride with music. I installed my Sony radio and two small speakers, drove around and enjoyed it. A little later I bought an alarm system with feedback and connected it. I hid the siren and shock sensor under the gas tank, the rest under the seat. To avoid being pulled out, I bought a chain with a lock and attached the seat tightly. The effect exceeded expectations! Firstly, the signal, it is not hidden like in a car and is turned to the side, so it is terribly loud, if you stand next to it, it will block your ears. Secondly, the shock sensor is set up very sensitively. As soon as you touch the steering wheel or another part of the motorcycle, it starts beeping. Before, when I parked my motorcycle near the house, kids gathered around, some even climbed onto the motorcycle, I shouted from the window, and they ran away. Now I could not strain my vocal cords; when the siren went off, I ran to the window and saw no one, everyone immediately ran away in fear. In addition, the signaling quickly discouraged everyone from approaching the motorcycle, and I began to live more calmly, I did not worry about my two-wheeled friend.

In general, I’m not satisfied with the quality, I thought that after so many years they had learned to do it well, but no, it’s no better than it was in the 90s, maybe worse. Voltage regulators were dying, throttle and clutch cables were breaking, oil was leaking from the muffler pipe joints and in the places where the engine crankcase bolts were attached, gears were falling out, and second gear was lost. I treat my equipment very carefully: I always warm it up for a few minutes, don’t load the engine too much, don’t give it too high speeds, and drive calmly. And yet it still breaks. In terms of speed indicators, I can’t tell you anything interesting, since I’m not a racer, I accelerated to 120 a couple of times, and the reserve remained, but the fuse burned out (the generator is too powerful) and the motorcycle immediately stalled. I usually drive 50-60 in the city, on the highway about 80 km/h, there is no fifth speed, so driving faster is uncomfortable, vibration and noise from the wind and the engine are annoying. I rode my planet to work, rode around the area in the evenings, met girls. I drove intercity a couple of times, about 200 km, and took my girlfriend home. In the fall, use it to study before it gets cold. The speedometer stopped working, I just drove on and didn't really need it. I remember once a guy came up to me, asked about a motorcycle, looked at it and told how on the Planet of the old years, after replacing the piston, he rode at a speed of 150 km/h, and without a helmet. I listened to him and thought, what would happen if something happened, anything can happen, the engine could jam or the bearing in the wheel could fall apart, what would happen to it, not a single surgeon would put it back together later. It’s better for me to go slowly, but I’m not afraid for my life, and my family is calmer. The quality of the painting was disappointing: after the first season, there were chips and scratches on the glove compartment lids, and the paint near the “Izh” sticker on the gas tank began to fall off due to gasoline leaks. I installed the motor for the winter as it should be: I poured oil into the cylinder, relieved the pressure in the wheels, a full tank of gasoline, a battery and a radio with speakers. The humidity in the garage in the fall and spring is terrible.

2008

As the snow began to melt, preparations for the season began. I went to the metal market, bought an alloy wheel for the rear wheel and two new tires: 19 for the front, 18 wide for the rear. I also bought a washer and a worm shaft to repair the speedometer, and a new fairing to match the color. Also new mirrors with built-in turn signals. I washed the rims and painted them blue, it became much better. I removed the standard air filter, which was huge, and installed a nice round disposable one, which is not difficult to change twice a year. In those days, I was finishing my studies, working in my area, and all summer I did not part with my motorcycle, I parked it next to my work, at night I parked it next to my house, or spent the night in the garage, or at the dacha, in short, I was inseparable from it. If I left it for a long time, I removed the radio, covered the speakers with bags from the rain and from prying eyes, set it to speed, to lock the steering wheel, put a thick chain through the wheels, hooked the lock, and of course set it to the alarm. I'm a bit of a security freak, so I did my best. That summer I spent a lot of time in garages with boys who were younger than me and drove old Urals and Izhas, one of them had a Java. Only I had a new motorcycle, and besides, the music and signaling were only on my motorcycle. They were constantly repairing something, changing it, taking it apart, and I just drove around and enjoyed it. We often rode around the area together, went to nature, to the country, had barbecues, drank beer, and sometimes just hung out in garages and spent the night there. Once the kick starter broke down, we started it with a pushrod, drove to a spare parts store and replaced the ring gear there. By the way, its compression is terrible. To start it from the pusher, I sat on the motor alone, the wheel did not turn, the compression did not work, then the two of us sat on the motor and drove down the hill. And when you start it, there is such a recoil that you can break your leg. This makes my legs hurt in the summer! The run-in was the first year, in the second year I started squeezing out all the juices from time to time. I really liked opening full throttle in second gear and accelerating to 60, the acceleration was very brisk. Because of this, the second speed began to act up and began to work intermittently. At the end of the summer it completely disappeared, that is, it turned on, but there was no engagement, so I had to turn on a third one. In order to ride normally in third, I had to accelerate to 40 in first, while the engine was screaming loudly, but the motorcycle was sharply thrown forward, so the cars could not compete with me from the traffic light, I left in one fell swoop! The strong vibrations caused the screws in the speedometer to loosen, dangle and ring under the glass, and the speedometer and odometer stopped working. In the fall, the gearbox died, after switching from first to second, the motorcycle stalled and the speed disappeared. It’s good that it was close to the garage, somehow I put it in third, started off in it, “playing” with the clutch, drove to the garage and let’s disassemble the box. The gearshift fork broke, I went and bought a new one, I couldn’t get it back together, but I was on my way. It was the end of the season. I asked the bikers to help, they assembled it crookedly, only the second gear was turned on, there were no others. I drove like this for a bit, except that it was only one speed, but it kept crashing. It was getting cold, the motorcycle remained in the garage for the winter, and I got to work on the car.

2009

This year the motorcycle took a break, and so did the car; I didn’t see them until October. In October he returned from military service, sold the car, did not start the motorcycle or repair it. Cold.

2010

Three years and approximately 10 thousand km for a Russian motorcycle is already a long time! There were a lot of breakdowns this year! It all started with the repair of the box. I disassembled - reassembled, checked, disassembled again - reassembled, and tried exactly with the diagram, and tried not according to the diagram, the result is the same: one speed. As a result, I drove in only the second outgoing gear to work for about 20 km. Having removed the box from the old motor and from the new one, he showed all the parts to the aggregator, he chose which was better and recommended installing it. Having assembled everything according to the diagram, I was pleasantly surprised: all the speeds worked as smoothly as new. I was tricky with the carburetor, the engine didn’t want to develop speed, I threw in the spark plugs. I thought the problem was in the ignition, adjusted it, but it didn’t help. Then I figured out how to adjust the carb, tightened it up, everything fell into place. I repaired the speedometer by removing and disassembling it, plus a new worm in the wheel. I started driving and noticed a trend: when I drove out, the clutch was soft, but after half an hour it was tight and could barely be squeezed out. In three days, two cables broke, I had to disassemble the clutch housing, check and adjust everything by eye. It helped, the clutch began to be fully depressed all the time and the lever was no longer so tight, although there were two times over the summer that the clutch disappeared while driving, a large nut was unscrewed. I carried the necessary tools in the glove compartment and restored functionality in less than an hour.

A very unpleasant story!

I started parking my motorcycle near my house; I was already living in a different area, where no one had ever seen my planet. The first night outside the house was terrible for him, and for me too. The day before I changed the shock sensor of the alarm, the old one died due to vibrations. I didn’t have time to check and adjust, but I installed the radio and two round speakers at 13 cm and secured them so that they wouldn’t be removed. In the evening, I left my motorcycle under the balcony, went home, the alarm went off, I looked out - no one was there. Then it worked again and again, he went out, turned it off completely, rolled it aside, put it in the bushes so that they wouldn’t see it, and didn’t remove the radio (in vain). It’s a pity I didn’t have the book for the signaling with me, I would have made it into silent mode. I decided that for now I would let him stand there unguarded; when I went to bed, I would activate the alarm. I didn’t notice how I fell asleep, woke up at four o’clock in the morning, looked out from the balcony, the motorcycle was not visible! I took the key fob, checked it, there is a signal, that means he’s somewhere nearby! I get dressed, go outside, look - it’s lying in the bushes, I pick it up, I hear something leaking, I look - gasoline, the filter was pulled off for 20 rubles, I close the gas tap, put the engine upright, and begin the inspection. Result: the front was torn apart, there is no radio, no cigarette lighter, no speakers, wires and wires are dangling, the mirrors are turned out, one of them has a broken wire, the fairing glass is cracked, there are no air and fuel filters, the rear light is broken. I set the alarm and go home. At five in the morning the alert goes off, I look out and it’s lying there! I go out, lift it, the rear tire is flat. At the same time, he was dragged a meter forward, the wheels and steering wheel were blocked. I remove the locks, roll it out of the bushes, and place it in a visible place near the pole. I couldn’t sleep anymore, I had breakfast, got ready for work, and went outside. It was already light, I started rummaging through the bushes, found an air filter, fragments of a lamp and bolts, columns, one was bent, and the second was normal. I don’t understand who needs a cassette tape recorder without a socket and without a chip with wires, the price is 50 rubles. I examined the rear wheel: everything was intact, I took out the spool valve from my supplies, screwed it in, there was no pump at home. I started the engine - it works, well, I think I can drive away if I pump up the tire. I pushed the bike to the store and wanted to ask the people there for a pump. While I was pushing, the camera nipple fell inward, and the camera rotated in the wheel. I left it at the store, went to the bus stop, arrived two hours later with a pump and tools (it’s good that my job allowed me to move around the city), sorted out the wheel and left without any difficulties. Result: purchase of a rear light (200 rubles), a cigarette lighter (100 rubles) and a radio (200 rubles). I bought a simpler radio, the panel is not solid, not three-color, as it was, and the power is less, but it’s fine. I installed the pancakes for louder and better sound, and had no problems. After that incident, I placed the motorcycle under the balcony, so that it was clearly visible and as stable as possible. In the middle of the night the alarm went off, I looked out and saw: he was lying down. He couldn’t fall on his own, so I drove him to the parking lot and agreed to leave him there until the morning for 20 rubles. So I parked it overnight for almost a month, until they raised the price. They began to demand 50 rubles. I told the watchman that I didn’t have that much extra money, and from then on I put the motor near the house, hooked it to a pole with a chain and removed the radio, covered the speakers with bags, no one touched it there.

I traveled around the planet constantly from May to October, to work, to lakes, to see friends, to see my parents, and still listened to music, used the alarm, and charged my phone from the cigarette lighter. I made four multi-colored buttons: to turn on the radio, cigarette lighter, fog lights and for the signaling. Before this, to prevent auto-arming from working after 30 seconds, you had to insert the key into the ignition and turn it back and forth. By installing a button, I made my life easier; I no longer needed to insert the key (especially useful if my hands are busy), plus increased safety: if suddenly the shock sensor did not work (this happened), and if someone started pressing the buttons, the siren would panic and the keychain will beep. The radio occasionally needed to be turned off and on; when it froze, it could not be adjusted. At the beginning of summer I suffered a little with the ignition system, the engine had trouble starting and immediately stalled. It took me a long time to figure out that the ignition coil was dying, bought a new one, and the problem disappeared. One day I was driving to work in the evening, suddenly it began to shake slightly in different directions, from time to time a grinding sound appeared in the rear wheel, and after slowing down I got there. I took off the rear wheel - the bearings fell apart, since I bought the wheel used, who knows how old they are. I worked the night, in the morning the mechanics helped me remove the remaining bearings, I went to the store, picked up new ones, installed them, and left. After some time, the same problem overtook the front wheel bearings, I changed it myself, it turned out well. At the beginning of autumn, I was driving home in the evening, and suddenly the engine stalled while accelerating, and some resistance appeared. With difficulty I pushed it away from the road, started it in neutral, put it in gear, released the clutch - it stalled. I attached the motor with a chain to the fence, removed the radio, and walked home. Okay, on to the next one. I had a day off, after sleeping I went to repair the iron horse. I disassembled the entire rear part, it turned out that the rivets on the sprocket, which the chain drives, had fallen out, as a result the chain was skewed and it got stuck, creating resistance to the rotation of the wheel. Taking everything that was broken, I drove to work, they helped me repair it, returned, put the part back in place and rode home on a motorcycle. There was also a funny thing: the engine started in the opposite direction, and very often. Apparently the ignition is to blame! You seem to think: now I’ll go forward, release the clutch and go in reverse! I immediately pressed the brake, the engine stalled, restarted, and then I drove forward. Very grateful to the generator! In addition to the excellent work of music, the cigarette lighter and the alarm, he helped me revive the car. After standing for a long time, the car did not start (the battery was dead), this happened twice: I connect the battery of the motorcycle and the car, start the engine, increase the idle speed and wait 10 minutes, after which I calmly start the car. When it got colder and I started driving, the spendthrift was at work. In the last thaw of November, I moved it to the garage.

2011

At the beginning of February I wanted to remember summer, it was -3 outside, I started the planet and drove around the garage, skidded and sanded in the snow. It didn’t start right away, pumped gas many times, the engine stalled, but then it warmed up and worked as it should.

Future plans.

As soon as the snow melts, I will begin preparing for the season: I will clean all the terminals, wash, adjust, replace the filter, and repair the speedometer. In May I’ll ride on the planet, at the beginning of summer I think I’ll sell it, it’s time to move on, it’s time to master foreign motorcycles. Plus, the old planet is still in the garage. It will have to be repaired, assembled, and let it be just in case, they won’t give much money for it, and you don’t have to pay tax. You can get a good amount for a 2007 planet with all the stuffing, so I won’t sell it cheap, I was happy for three seasons, let it please someone else. These are the plans! If anyone has anything to write about this topic, please! It will be interesting to read your stories and share your experiences. Whoever mastered such a volume of text - well done! :D

Java 891.5. Ice racing motorcycle

Jawa for ice racing Throughout the history of the world championships in motorcycle ice racing, those who became champions rode Jawa motorcycles.
This is the best recommendation from the Divišov plant, which produces track racing motorcycles. What is a special JAVA model for ice racing? When developing its design, Czechoslovak specialists relied on the rich experience of Soviet athletes. The frame was taken as a basis, created at one time by V. Karneev. Over the years, it naturally improved; the design of the front fork and some minor parts also changed. Today, after five modernizations, the Jawa-891.5 model (it has been produced since 1978) continues to be the machine of champions, and a significant number of these motorcycles are supplied to the USSR. Every year, Soviet sports clubs, which have the world's strongest athletes in ice racing, receive more than a hundred of these machines. Jerking when engaging the clutch

It should be borne in mind that in excessively wide grooves, the disc teeth will knock against their edges when engaging and disengaging the clutch while the motorcycle is moving. This will lead to intensive wear of the drum grooves. In some cases, the clutch engages... Read more >>
