Hello.
For many years at various motorcycle events I have seen stunt riders performing tricks for the public. I came to the conclusion that it is interesting not only to understand the question of what kind of motorcycle stunts there are in stunt riding, but also to understand how technically they are performed.
It’s worth mentioning right away that this article is in no way educational and it was not written for those who want to start stunt riding on their own. The stunts we will talk about are very dangerous, and often completely impossible to do on a stock motorcycle without modifications. I’m writing this article for those who like to look at stunt riding from the outside, like a show, but at the same time understand what’s going on.
We won’t talk about modifications to the motorcycle, in short, you just need to eliminate oil starvation when riding the motorcycle in an upright position, install protection, slightly modify the brakes, steering, subframe, and move the backup rear brake lever to the handlebars. All that's done - and you can start doing tricks!
