Reviews
The scooter has become my daily vehicle. I drive it to work, use it to move around the city, travel to distant shopping centers and to the stadium (outside the city). I'm happy with the model: good handling and stability on the road. Of the minuses: it is difficult to drive for more than 3 hours - the seat is not comfortable.

Here are the main features of the Honda CBR 150 R:
- hard seat;

This motorcycle may be suitable for those who want to ride a car with a sporty exterior. But the experienced eye of an avid biker can easily discern the flimsiness of the design, which is impossible for a truly sporty model.
Dimensions and weight
The length of the CBR 150 R is 2000 mm, its width is 825 mm and its height is 1120 mm. This motorcycle has a seat height of 776 mm, while the wheelbase is 1305 mm. The weight is low: 138 kg, which is certainly a plus for such a bike. The tank volume is 13 liters, which is quite good with an average consumption of 3 liters per hundred.
Chassis and brakes
The motorcycle frame is steel, tubular in type. It, like the steering wheel with elegant cast wheels, is made to sporting standards. The exterior is quite bright and colorful, not very consistent with the modest technical specifications.
The bike has a monoshock absorber for the rear suspension. At the front, a telescopic fork plays this role. The rear brake has a single-piston caliper and a 220 mm disc. At the front there is a 276 mm disc and a two-piston caliper. The chassis is quite weak and is not designed for fast driving and sudden actions.
This scooter model (albeit its 125 cc version) is very popular in Europe, where wealthy businessmen do not hesitate to ride a scooter. The HONDA PCX150 is a dynamic city scooter with large wheels that is an excellent alternative to a car when commuting to work and back. He is not afraid of either heat or traffic jams - the engine is water cooled. The scooter model is extremely reliable, however, it also has certain disadvantages.
Advantages
So, first about the advantages. The scooter is based on a proven four-stroke engine that can withstand huge mileages and has proven itself very well in courier services, where people cover several hundred kilometers per day. The service life of the HONDA PCX150 is impressive - if the engine is taken care of and well maintained, it can travel more than 200 thousand kilometers. This engine is also very economical - per 100 km, the fuel consumption of the PCX150 ranges from 2 to 4 liters. And one more important competitive advantage - the tank here is as much as 14 liters! That is, the power reserve of this device during leisurely driving can be about 700 km.
As for the service, there are solid advantages here too! For example, the crankcase capacity here is 0.9 liters - a standard bottle of oil is enough. The air filter is a cartridge filter and can be easily changed. The variator is standard, without any electronic systems or plastic gears. In general, the scooter is really very reliable, unpretentious, a Honda is a Honda. Large wheels cope well with uneven surfaces, the passenger has a flat seat, and does not slide onto the driver when braking. The scooter has good and powerful light. In general, the device has quite a lot of advantages.
Flaws
But this HONDA also has disadvantages. In particular, the driver's seating position is not very comfortable. For example, on the Honda SH the driver had a flat floor under his feet and had the opportunity to place some additional luggage. There is no such thing here, but the footrests are made comfortable - you can stretch your legs during long trips.
But the windshield can only conditionally be called such - the flow of air hits the driver in the chest or face. But the maximum speed of the HONDA PCX150 is more than 100 km/h and the scooter encourages you to go somewhere on a long journey. Another negative is the rear drum brake. Still, a scooter of this category should have a disc rear brake.
Is the PCX150 worth buying?
As a scooter for every day, this is a very good option, despite some design inconveniences. Tags:
